My dear Mieka...

Tears are flowing.  I hate saying "Goodbye" so I'm not going to.  I will say, TTFN (Ta Ta For Now) or Till We Meet again, sweet Mieka!

I love you as if you were my own daughter and you are my new daughter in the Lord and I want you to always consider me "Mum".

Dear Mi, I pray that during the past weeks and months that you have indeed hidden God's Word in your heart.  Even though you might not have God's Word in writing in front of you to read wherever you are, you will always have it in your heart.  Please call on the  Lord to bring to your memory all of the verses that you have learned.

Remember, Mieka that there is a small band of people here that will be praying for you daily.

We love you so much and will be so happy to see that you return to us as soon as possible.

Meeks - It is with terrible sadness that I bid a temporary goodbye to a friend that I will treasure forever.  I pray that you will keep your mind on Jesus Christ - He died to save you and will always be with you, even unto the end of the world.  If you have trusted Christ as your Saviour, He will NEVER leave you.  Count on it.  It's a PROMISE.  There may be times when the Lhasa feels like the end of the world, but Jesus promised to be there with you.  Your friends here cannot go with you, but we will keep you always in our prayers and in our hearts.  In the love of Jesus, God bless you.  We love you.    

Please come back soon and please do everything you can to get in touch with us.  

My sweet Mieka, I agree with what Pat and Nards have said.  I love you so much, little one, and treasure your friendship.  Please remember to always talk to Jesus in your heart, and know that He will never leave you nor forsake you.  You can talk to Him anywhere, anytime, alone or in the middle of a crowd, as He knows the very thoughts and intents of your heart.  He knows your desires, your plans, and your feelings---even your failures---and He loves you with an everlasting love.

I thank you for the time you have shared on CP with all of us, and for the time shared talking to you on Yahoo.  I will continue to pray for you and hope you will be able to contact us from Lhasa.  We will be counting the days until you are safely back with us.  ((((((((hugs)))))))))))  Much love and many prayers go with you, Mi!

Everyone has already said what my heart is saying about your leaving.  I will place your name on a paper in my bible and say a special prayer every Sunday at church.  Stay safe, happy and always close to Jesus.  God richly bless you with much love and strength until you come back home, dear Mieka.

It isn't necessary to repeat my IM here - you know how much you will be missed.  God help me to pray for you continually O daughter in our Lord!

Dear Mieka....... It seems as if I have just gotten to know you and now you are going away.   My heart echos the chorus that Pat posted...

Till we meet, till we meet
Till we meet at Jesus' feet
Till we meet, till we meet,
God be with you till we meet again.

That chorus says that if we never meet on earth,  we WILL meet in heaven one day.
First day in heaven Mieka, I will meet you over at your mansion!  Does that sound good to you?!

2 Chron. 16:9    "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him"  

Remember  "Greater is He (Jesus Christ) that is in you, than he (satan) that is in the world.  1 John 4:4

Also "He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Phil. 1:6

Mieka,   I will remember you in prayer and ask God to build you up and quiet you with His love.

If per chance you have the opportunity to read this farewell message, I have only one piece of Christian advice to give you.

Wherever you go Mieka, "PREACH THE WORD OF GOD TO THE LOST" Please always remember........Jesus Christ is the ONLY son of God, and that He died on the cross for you personally.  That He HAD to rise from the grave, and that He WILL return for you. No Jesus, no salvation.  There is NO life after death without Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone.

I've been sitting here tonight doing searches on Lhasa, Tibet.  Looking at pictures and reading what I can find of where our Meika will be.   :'(

I gave her a Gospel For Asia internet address so she can hook up with other Christians.  I have been trying to Find a missionary in that area too,  I am going to cbeck with a cousin and see if she can help too.

I sit here with a many tears and a giggle of a cows from Ms Etta Sue and frog dance and such a wonderful words from all my friends here.

I love you all with all my heart. I hope to make a more post today and tomorrow and to read in the forum for some time today. I go again back to the Lhasa in two more days. I get very sick there still and it is my hope I can stay there this time and not be so sick. It is a most highest city in all the world i think. I did live most all my life at the ocean so it is a bother to me now. But I will learn to do it.  8).  :-\ I hope.

Well, we must remember to keep our very own darling Mieka on our prayer lists as she sets off for China tomorrow morning and then on to Tibet.

My heart it is broken that I must go again, but i know I have so much work to do for my time in the Lhasa. I love you all SO SO very much.
Today it is September 7, 2004. It is a most fun summer for me for all my life. I did get to go to see some place that are only dream to me. I did get to meet some new friends in a far place and I did get to share a time with my family for most every day my time here. I did get to run on the beach and go for a very far on a boat. And I did get to share a time with friends I love with all my heart.

Every moment of every day I thank God for all that I love. I thank God for people and friends that help me in a prayers along my path. You all very close to my heart and a most special people in my life are my friends. It is a help to me to come and read here when I am sad. There is so much love here at the Christian Photographers it is a smile to my heart when I am sad.

I have SO much things will change in my life for this year and I am sad for some but not a scared. I go back tomorrow to live in the Lhasa for many month. I did apply to come to live in the USA and I think it is long time to know if I can do it. I know they work to make it more easy for me to come back, but I think it is not easy for me yet. My sister Jenna will have a baby soon in the December and I am soon “aunt mi  8) ” it is soon my only baby in my life and I am sad I can not be here for this most special day. But I will have a celebration and thank God for a new joy of family to my sister and her husband. I miss her so much at times, but I am SO SO happy to see her with a family and love all around.  (I love you Jenna, with all my heart  :) ).

I wish to talk about each of you for 100 pages and thank you each for a time I treasure and A kindness you did share with me when I need a help. Many words each you did give to me and they are a help to me still today. A giggle I will not ever forget when I was sad. And a moment to share with a friend when they are sad and want for them all the joy of the world at this time of sadness for them.

It is my prayer tonight that each of you know how much I treasure you as my friend. I thank you all that you share a time with me here and I pray that you are all in a good health for many month and I will hope to come back to share a time here again soon when I can do it.

Remember, God will never leave you nor forsake you, and you have hidden His Word in your heart, even though the book is not allowed in Lhasa.  Please post whenever you get a chance.
