Title: For a home for Marilyn
Post by: Marilyn on December 07, 2004, 08:48:54 AM
As many of you know I will have to be moving out of this little house trailer in within the next three months. I have know this was going to happen  for over a year. This trailer is unfit to live in, the roof leaks there are holes inthe ceiling, but it has been a cozy home for me and my two wonderful dogs for  1 1/2 years. This is what I am asking the LOrd for.

A small 2 bedroom home either a house , duplex or mobile home, where my two over 50 pound dogs are welcome, with a fenced yard, within my budget. I know by faith that God has a place he has chosen just for me and that fits my every need, I need direction and guidance to find this place that he has set aside for me at no more than $500.00 per month.

MOst places here are more than my budget will allow me to spend,  HUD (subsidized) housing does not allow dogs. MOst places do not allow dog. MY dogs have been with me since birth, Happy is almost 7 and Bebe will be 4 in a few weeks..
Thank you I do covet your prayers. Working 7 days a week doesn't give me much time to go house hunting.

Thanks for sharing with us, Marilyn.  I'll be praying for you that the Lord's choice of a new home will be made perfectly clear to you in the very, very near future.  This is just such a difficult time for you.

God richly bless you my sis!

MARILYN ~ When Bryan got out of the Army and began working toward establishing his new life as a civilian, one of his first priorties was a place to live.   He looked online for apartments or rooms to rent but there was nothing that he could afford.  Finally, he put his own ad online.  He stated his needs and that he didn't have a job (yet) or a lot of money.  He felt that renting a room would be the best because he wouldn't have the expense of utilities, phone, furniture, etc.... or whatever it is that is involved in renting on your own.

That ad was answered and he is in a home with just another couple and very close to where he can find employment, etc.

I tell you this because it may be a way for you to find "just the right place" that meets your criteria.  You might give it a thought.

I am definitely praying for your peace of mind and comfort in the knowledge that our Father already has that home set aside for you and your dogs.  He will lead you to it.  I know!

Oh Father, I pray You'll move as only You can to provide living arrangements for Marilyn.  Help her to look in just the right direction to see Your leading.  And I pray You'll also move in her to make her willing to do Your will, no matter what it is.  Oh do these things, Father, within the timing You know there is for her - through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I've been wondering the same thing, Marilyn.  How are you doing?  I know the time is nearing when you will need an answer and a place to live.

Jesus' Greetings, Marilyn.... I'm a newbie here, but I wanted to give you some encouragement.  For many years my income has been well below poverty level, but The Lord has always abundantly provided more than I could imagine or deserve. I am a "day mom" and because I'm considered "self-employed" the s.s. taxes are very high....  No problem for our Father, and He's no Respecter of persons.  God can make a way, when there seems to be no way.  Tender Blessings,  rosebud  \ :)/ Praise Him  p.s. I've heard other people say it never comes out on paper, but then, doesn't that give Father more glory?

Title: Home for Marilyn Praise Report
Post by: Marilyn on February 17, 2005, 10:31:18 PM
Whoooooopeeeeeeeee: I'm dancing in the for the Lord. My landlord came to me to let me know what was going on around here in the near future. However amidst all the construction to start in  April sits a small trailer with a lady and 2 dogs living on the property until about July/August. Then when I told him I was 50 short on the rent and could I write him a check for $450. now he said "oh no Marilyn, just wait until you have it all  and give it to me then." He is going away for a few days and wanted to let me know all this before he left.
Hallelujah

Just wanted to give you the Good News.

I think the saying is PTL!  Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace to Marilyn!  Now, seeing how much You care about this, we're encouraged to pray that You'll reveal to her just where You want her to go and what You want her to do next.

Marilyn, that is indeed wonderful news.  He obviously has come to know you and know that he can trust you to pay him as soon as you can.  Maybe this will give you time to recover from having to buy a car so suddenly.  God is so good.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. and Most of all thanks  to you Jane who prayed on the phone with me the same day the landlord came to see me.God answered her prayer within a few hours.

Yes, God is sooooo GOOD ... ALL the time!  Remember?  I prayed to bind his mind to the mind of Christ and that even he would be surprised at what came out of his mouth.   Bet he really was surprised, what do you think?   :D

My landlord has given me until the middle of September to find a place ,however, I am now asking you to pray that God will show me that he has heard my prayers by leading me to the place he has for me before the end of July, as the first of August the college students will be returning to the area and taking up all the housing. I really would like to be out of here as soon as possible.

I reallly neeed His direction in this effort.
