Title: I need prayer re my school practicum (placement).
Post by: BonnieA on February 27, 2012, 05:23:03 PM
Hi everyone.
I've been employed as a Community Support Worker since October, 2006, and truly believe this is what the Lord has called me to do. It is a both a blessing and a privilege to help the elderly and/or temporarily incapacitated in the community.

Now I find myself working toward completing my PSW (Personal Support Worker) certification. It will soon be mandatory for anyone doing this work to have this certification, no matter how long they have been doing the work.

I did well in the classroom part of the course, but am finding the nursing home setting to be much more of a challenge. Working in the community, in each client's home, is very different from working in the fast-paced, busy environment of a nursing home and/or retirement setting!!

Please pray for calm, peace, physical stamina, and anything else you may think of re this situation.

Thank you.

Bonnie

Bonnie, I'm praying for the Lord's hand upon you and His peace within you as you tackle this test.

Thank you Jeanne.

A friend reminded me yesterday that God does not give us a load we cannot carry, or...in other words, a task we cannot handle.

Praying Bonnie, I certainly cannot do what you are doing.  God bless you as you persevere, And having done all to stand!

Call Dennis up and ask him to
pray with you as well.

Hi Judy. Thank you for your suggestion and continued prayers for me. I did ask for prayer after church Sunday, and two of the ladies listened to my concerns and prayed over me.
