Title: Jeanette and Family
Post by: Marilyn on January 22, 2006, 11:09:19 PM
I am asking for you prayers for a good friend of mine who now lives in Colorado. We both used to live inthe Southern California desert until we moved on to other places. She to Colorado and I to Northern California.

Her name is Jeanette She has been on a feeding tube for 8 years because of botched up surgery on her mouth. She had cancer in her mouth years ago and the first surgeon messed her up pretty bad and she has since had many other surgeries. She needs her miracle.

Her Sister Charlene  started out with blood in her urine and at first the thought was that she had a kidney stone, Turns out to be cancer of the kidney and she is having surgery on the 30th of this month.

Another sister Darlene now has blood in her urine also, and has  To go for more testing.

Her Brother Andy needs a lot of prayer  but it is so hard to understand  Jeanette when she talks  that I couldn't quite grasp what his need was, He has 3 children still at home, recently remarried, and had been in a coma for 2 weeks at some point.

They are all Christians and serving the Lord.

Oh, Marilyn.  Sometimes it just seems too much, doesn't it?  Our solace is that the Lord tells us to pray, and that we know God cares more than we ever could.  Of course, I'll pray for this family.  So much pain.   Nita

Of course I'll pray for your friend and this family.  Our finite minds cannot comprehend such suffering and we so often question how this could be happening to so many in the same family ... We are all in the same family, though ... God is our Father and we are brothers and sisters.  When one suffers we all do ... God knows ... I'm so glad He is God and I am NOT!!

Marilyn...although I cannot comprehend the magnitude of this problem your friend and her family has to face I know that God can and HE has the answers to all our questions and only He can solve this.

I'll be praying for Jeanette and her whole family and I believe, as I'm sure they do, that God will give them what they all need.

Can we believe that all of this - for every member of that family - can be turned to ultimate good by our God?  It's TRUE!  I pray it may be so and that He will comfort Jeanette and all her family at this time in a very special way - through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you Nita, Jane and Adri, I know God is a Miracle working God and that ALL things are possible with him. He is the one in control and  am so thankful that thoughout all her agony and suffering that Jeanette has remained faithful  to the Lord. She is so strong in the Lord and has never had any doubt  about her eventual healing. Even when her mouth was wired shut, there she was in church praising the Lord for his goodness.

ps Thank you Al.

Marylin I will be praying for Jeanette and family. This is indeed a very difficult situation but when we look to God we can see what's impossible with man is possible with God.
Continue to pray and trust in the Lord. His word tells us the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
So we must do our part and continue to pray.
