Title: Karma and Nard
Post by: karmat on December 06, 2004, 11:09:42 AM
Without a lot of detail -- please remember us in your prayers.  Financially is very tight right now -- I can't seem to get any insurance or help with such, so we are looking at paying for the rest of the doctor's visits, specialist ultrasounds, labor, delivery, and postpartum checkup ourselves.  Lovely.  Also, nards work is struggling again.

I know God will take care of us, but sometimes it is still scary.

thanks

KARMA ~ I, most definitely, am and will be praying for you and Nards and your situation.  I know from experience that it is times like this that test and strengthen our faith.  I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that our Father is totally aware of each need.  In Matthew 6, Jesus tells us that "your Father KNOWS WHAT YOU NEED"  then He tells us not to worry about it ... not to worry about tomorrow ... because He will take care of us ... and supply every need!

I understand your concerns, KARMA, and I certainly do not wish for you to think I'm unconcerned.  I pray that the Lord will hold you in His arms of love and give you peace that passes all understanding as you just relax into Him and rest.  This baby needs a serene and peaceful entrance into the world, y'know.

Much love, Jane

I am praying for you  and your situation Karma. It seems that many of the Christians are really struggling right now. The Lord says to "Be strong I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" This word is for you and Nards. So Sister and Brother, Be strong and courageous for He is with you.

Isaiah 41:10

Father, I pray for Karma, Nards, Travis, ?? just now.  Oh Father,  supply them abundantly, I pray.  Oh just make it obvious that it was Your powerful, loving Hand in caring for their needs through our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Amen!

I, too, am remembering you at this time--especially as the time is getting nearer and nearer for that new little life to enter this world.

God bless you both.  You are so special to CP!

Quick update -- (thanks Pat, I had forgotten that I had posted this)

Several weeks ago, the company that Bernard works for went on the market (there were only 3 employees by this point, nards and his two bosses).  They were giving it until 1/31 to do something.  Things were not looking promising.

One day about 10 days ago, one of their former employees drove by a place that was hiring machinists, so he stopped by and applied.  They called nard's place for a reference.  The two companies are very familiar with each other as bernard's place did some work for the other one last year.  In the course of the conversation, the other place asked how it was going, nard's boss said "not good," and the other place proceeded to tell how they had just gotten a letter from a broker advertising a machine shop for sale, was it them.

yes it was.

We want to buy it.

One week later, they start moving equiipment.  WOW>

Bernard will still work with his two bosses, but at another company that is about 25 minutes closer to home (he is about 50 minutes away now), he will get a raise, and maybe even some backpay that he didn't get in 2003.

Is God good or what????????????

I still don't have insurance, but God will take care of that, too!

Thanks everyone, for praying.

What a wonderful praise report, KARMA ... I agree with you: God is still in control and He will take care of all the details.

Blessed day, Karma.... re: the insurance.....  I have used Psalm 91 as my insurance policy for most of my saved life.... (I'm 31 yrs old in The Lord).  He has never ever let me down.  I painted it over my doorpost on the outside of my little home.   Read it before you go to bed at night outloud....it will comfort you so.  Father cares about every little thing in our lives as well as the biggies. One day at a time.  I hope this helps.   Tender Blessings,  rosebud \ :D/

What a lovely message to both Nard and Karma, Rosebud.  Thanks for that.

Did you know that we'll be hearing either  today or tomorrow about the arrival of this new little one?  It's so exciting!

God bless you both, Karma and Nard!
