Title: Please Pray
Post by: Don on September 24, 2009, 05:28:22 AM
I am requesting prayer for a friend of mine who woke up yesterday to find her husband unresponsive. He is now in the hospital on a ventilator and at last report they have no idea what is wrong. As far as I know there was nothing wrong when he went to bed. Please keep the two of them in your prayers.

Thank You!
Don

Don, I am praying for this dear lady, for our Lord's strength and peace, and for the doctors' wisdom in treating her husband.  It is bound to be frightening for her.

Don, I, too,  am praying for your friends ... The trauma of the situation, for all concerned, has to be stressful, to say the least.  I pray for peace of mind and strength for the wife and for the husband as well ... he must also be confused and concerned.  I pray the medical team will find a resulotion quickly and be able to get him back home with his family.

Is there any update Don?

As of now what I have been able to find out is coming through my daughter. I have not been able to talk to anyone else. It seems that he has had 3 severe strokes. The only response from him has been that he squeezed some ones hand. He has not opened his eyes. He is still on a resperator and is breathing 75% on his own. Her children are trying to get home now. They are scattered all over.

Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray for him and the family. I will pass on any info I get as soon as I get it.

Thanks for that information, Don.  It doesn't sound too encouraging for the family, but prayers are for the Lord's strength and peace to be felt touching all.

Glory be to God! They took my friends husband off the respirator yesterday afternoon and today he is breathing on his own he is responsive and talking. They still don't know how much damage has been done but I truly believe in my heart that it is a miracle from God. God does answer prayers people!

Thank you Lord and a special thank you to all that are praying for him. Please continue to pray for him and the family.

I'll keep you updated as I get new info.

Thank you Lord and thank you people.
