Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Please send prayers my way. I have an unusual area of swelling in my right leg, something my doctor has not seen before. I am hoping he will send me for a CAT scan soon. Can't have an MRI because of my defib implant (fancy pacemaker). Also have pain in my left hip, but that isn't as much of a concern at this point.

Turns out the area is infected. My doctor prescribed a very strong antibiotic, which I have to take with food and probiotic tablets. I am off work until next Monday, and possibly longer, depending on how I am doing by then. He does not feel a CT scan is necessary at this point, but doesn't completely rule it out.

I went into the (work) office and spoke with my supervisor. She suggested that the coordinator may be able to find me some respite shifts, meaning staying in one place and not walking great distances or waiting around for as many buses as usual... if and when I am deemed ok to go back to work. She was quite concerned, and in total agreement with the doctor when she, a long time nurse, took a look at the affected area.

BonnieA Know we are praying.

Thank you, dear Judy, for posting this.  I don't come on here often, but do know these wonderful friends in Christ to be very strong prayer warriors.

BonnieA,  I pray that your leg situation will soon be resolved and you will be able to return to work.  Larry

Bonnie, when the doctor says "You have xyz and we'll do abc to treat it"  that's one thing, but when he doesn't know what the problem is, it's scary.  I'm praying for enlightenment for the doctor and proper treatment for complete cure.

Thank you, Larry and Jeanne.

At first the doctor thought it might be a leg ulcer, but the next visit he said it was infected, quite badly, and not a leg ulcer.

I've had a leg ulcer in the past, and this is not an open area like that was, nor is it as tender.  In fact, it looks like an old scratch mark.

Your continued prayers are both appreciated and helpful.

Hi everyone.  I went to my doctor for my follow up visit this morning, and he is satisfied re the way the infection in my leg has cleared up.  The swelling is gone and the infected area has healed over.

My doctor has given me the ok to go back to work tomorrow.

Praise God, and thank you all for your prayers.

  :coffee: :)

Though I have been concerned re the redness that remains around the area, my doctor says that it is just surface redness, a sign of healing.   The area being closed is a good thing.

I'm so glad you are all here to pray, support, encourage, and bless the other participants in this site.

Heading offline for a nap. Here's hoping you all have a day filled with His blessings.
