I am not a photographer, but my husband has made a hobby into a hopeful career. We are both born again Christians, but my husband was addicted to porn from early adolescence all into our marriage life of 20 yrs. Recently he made an unfortunate willful decision to transfer his addiction to porn to something he tried to call "art" by hiring beautiful young women to pose nude. This has had such a damaging effect on our marriage.  The money he spent on these women is only one thing that hurts.  But the fact that he did this despite my objections, despite warnings from relatives and Christian friends, he not only crossed boundaries but despite desperate prayer that he would reject this subject, he even crashed through supernatural road blocks tha I know God provided escape, and did it anyway for five months. He has finally agreed never to do this again, but he has no regret or remorse or repentence other than he know it hurt his wife. He still thnks his "work" is art, and is a member of a website that he can display his photos.  He has shut down going to God for the Lord to give him the direction for his photography talent, because he turned his back on God the whole time. I know in his heart he knew it was wrong for him, but he claims "photographers have the right to do this in their lifetime."  I told him if he could find one single Christian married man who agreed this was "art" he would be hard-pressed to find one. The only person (other than worldly "artist" type people) who thought it was fine was a woman from Denmark, who claims to be a conservative Christian, and said "Americans are more uptight about that subject." My prayer is that he will delete, destroy and giet rid of every photo he's taken of these women, and that he will finally experience conviction from the Holy Spirit that this was a tragic decision, and he will be set free from this interest forever. Pray for "Charlie" please, that he will finally get back to God and ask HIM what type of photography he can prosper from. Thank you.

O Father, I just pray for this fellow that You would fully occupy his life and work.  Oh move in his heart to see the wrongness and idolatry of this addiction.  Move him to bow at Your feet and find complete cleansing through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Heavenly Father, I repeat Al's prayer and I add my prayers for this dear wife that she will find strength in You to bear this burden.  I thank You that You have led her here to find caring support and dedicated prayers for her and her husband.

I echo Al and Jeanne's Prayers.  I add one thing.  Find yourself a good Christian Counselor who specializes in porn addiction.  Get some counseling for yourself and encourage your husband to join you.  Also there is a book you can get.  An Affair Of The Mind.    You will have to call Focus on the Family to get the authors name.  They may be able to help you with the name of a counselor as well. 

Father I place into your hands my brother and sister,  Lord you know what they are facing and the challenges ahead,  Guide PhotogsWife in the direction she takes.  Place your arms around her and let her feel your presence.  I ask this in Jesus precious name.

Thank you for your prayers.  I do have a Christian counselor whose field is for sex addiction. My husband went twice, I went twice. Husband took a psychological test there, and now the results are ready but husband will not go with me to hear the results. He did say he would meet with a deacon from our church (he isn't ready to meet with our pastor). He has sworn off doing any more photo shoots with nude models, but still has all the photos he says he needs to "edit" in order to send perfected photos to them. I keep praying for his true repentence and restoration of our marriage. He still has shut God out while he is involved in finishing his "project" and resents having to think about restoration. It's been a tough time waiting for him to  turn back to God.
