I received this disturbing message from my niece last night. Please say a prayer for her. I know exactly how she feels and I feel helpless as to how to help her except to pray for her. Will you please pray for her also.


Hey Uncle Donald.

I didn't know who else ro talk to because I don't know that anyone else would possibly understand. My depression has a bad hold on me lately and I want to do is lay in bed and cry.  :( I have no energy to get up and clean or the motivation for that matter. It's one of the nights where I feel as though if not for my children, I wouldn't want to be here anymore. I know it's not rational, but the sadness I feel inside is overwhelming.

Oh, Don...  How very sad.  Depression is such a terrible malady and you can be sure that I'm going to pray for her AND you as you work with her.  Does she live nearby?
