Larry has posted the following:

Hi everyone.  We are at a hospice facility where Stacey was brought yesterday evening.  She had her 9th heart attack either Monday or Tuesday and was found yesterday afternoon when the hospice nurse couldn't get her to return her call and we hadn't been able to reach her.  The ER doctor called me and said we needed to get to the hospital.  The doctor told us she was terminal and the hospice people took over and arranged for a room here in downtown Atlanta.  Pat spent the night and I went home to get the car and bring what we needed as we will stay with her until the end.  She is being kept comfortable but she is non-responsive today and the death rattles have begun.  I would appreciate it if someone would report this in the Soda Shoppe and in Norm's Bait and Tackle as I just am not up to it. 

Let us pray for Stacey's comfort and peace as she makes the transition from her earthly to her heavenly home, and pray for strength, comfort and peace for Larry and Pat during this very difficult time.

Heavenly Father wrap your arms around Larry an Pat. Comfort them and protect them during this time.  Be with the family, and give them comfort.

Oh, dear Larry.  I am praying with all of us, for strength for you and Pat, for comfort too.  There is no easy way....but you have so many in prayer for you, hoping to help carry you and Pat through this painful time.

May you each rest in our Saviour's loving arms as you go through this transition period. My love to you and Pat.

Most gracious and loving Heavenly Father, Wrap you loving arms around Stacy as you prepare her for her entrance into you kingdom and please send the Comforter to be with Larry and Pat as the sit with Stacy until you call  her home.

Father, our friends need to feel Your touch now.  Wrap them in Your loving arms and hold them close to your heart as they walk this long pathway.  I pray that You will give them peace that only you can give.  And, as they cling to You in the days ahead, let them know, in their hearts, of the many friends who are carrying them on the wings of prayer and love for their strength.

We love you, Larry and Pat ... I am praying... 

Dear Father, we know your love is beyond our understanding, and that Stacey, Pat and Larry are numbered among your dear children.  Please give all three your peace that passes understanding and hold them close during this most difficult of times.  Let them know they are loved by many, and that our prayers will be ongoing for them.  Please help Stacey be comfortable and not in pain, and give  Larry and Pat supernatural strength and the comfort that only your precious Holy Spirit can provide.  Thank you, loving Father.  Amen

Larry and Pat, I just wish that there wasn't as much distance between us.  I would love to be there to do anything I could to help you at this time.  Please know that I am praying for you.

Here is Larry's most recent post:

"Thank you all for your loving support and jean  thanks for reporting for me yesterday.  We have been supported by friends and our minister and one of Stacey's pastors was here also.  Stacey is still transitioning and made it through the night and so far today.  One thing we have found is that gangrene has attached her other foot and leg.  There are many unanswered questions regarding what happened to her since we were with her on Sunday.  Both Pat and I got a few hours of sleep last night and today I have tried to stay busy putting in place what will be needed when she passes.  I have also been calling her doctors and canceling some accounts she has had.  I am going to post this in the other discussions and try to catch up from yesterday."

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with Larry and Pat during this difficult time.  May God lift you both up and hold you in his arms as he welcomes her into his heavenly kingdom.

I too pray that Larry and Pat are comforted by the Comforter and know the peace that only He can bring and that even though Stacy may be unable to communicate that she is aware of loved ones presence and tier love but especially the presence of God and His ministering angels  at this time.

Liz, those are my thoughts exactly.  What wonderful parents Stacey was blessed to have!

As Geoff said so eloquently, dear Larry and Pat, rest in the knowledge that Stacey was aware of your presence until she transitioned, and that she knew she was loved.  Though she may not have been able to communicate with you in the final moments, she heard everything you said, and felt your touch.

I am praying for the Lord's comfort and strength to wash over you in the coming days.

Dear Pat and Larry,

Please be comforted knowing that we all are upholding you in prayer at this difficult time. May you feel His presence constantly with you.

I just found the email about Stacey.  My prayers for Larry and Pat as they cope with the news on Stacey. 

How sad to hear the news! My prayers for Larry, Pat, and the remainder of the family along with Stacey's friends.
