Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Hello everyone.

I didn't know where else to turn to as I don't really have alot of friends at home.  I know at least that I can always ask you guys and gals for help.

As you all know, I am on a journey to rectify my life and relationship with Christ.  The thing is that in the place I work I can't seem to find Christ anywhere....accept here on CP.  What I mean by this is that I seem to be doing everything wrong (sin) and I can't seem to get out of this rut I'm finding myself in.  I need to get out of this situation that, I know, I've placed myself in.  The only thing that I can think to do is find myself another place of employment. So I would like to ask you if you can find a small amount of time during your prayers to help me pray for better employment.

I'm not being ungrateful, I just can't go on like this.  I don't earn enough to even pay the basic things that I need to survive...if it wasn't for my sister and her help I don't think that I would've ever been able to get as far as I have.  Please pray for her too, this whole situation isn't easy on her either as she basically has to care for the both of us and the burden is getting to be alot. Now you might think that I have a job and no reason to complain, but I've even resorted to borrowing money from my employer and I don't know how I'll pay him back without making another loan.  I don't want to be the type of person who lives on loans that I might not be able to ever pay in the end.

Please help me pray for this....it's starting to effect my whole family and neither one of them desirves this.

I understand, and am praying for you.

Dear Lord I pray for Scihadri right now and ask that you will meet her need.  We know that you are a God that can make  a way where there seems to be  no way. I bring Schadr's financial need to you now and ask you to provide for her need. You told us in your word that you are able to supplly all our needs according to your riches in glory. We stand upon that promise now.

We also stand upon your promise that tells us to , Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things" (Matthew 6:25, 30, 31, 32).
I  know today you know the need of my sister so we ask in faith beleiving and we look to heaven expecting as we pray AMen

Schadri, recognizing the need and then determining to do something about it is a major step forward to resolution of your problem.  Sometimes it seems impossible but there is always something over the horizon we just haven't seen yet.  Look to God for your guidance and trust that he will take care of you.  I will be praying for you.

Schadri, I'm praying right along with the others and I say Amen to the above prayers and comments.  God knows exactly what you need and He wants, so much, to bless you ... in His timing.  The scripture Melody quoted is one I have had to stand on for several years.  Our Father knows what we need ... Trust Him.

My very heartiest amen to everything Larry said.  I pray our God will supply the need - COMPLETELY.

Marilyn

Schadri I am praying as I type, I have been in your situation and bythe grace and mercy of God I was set free. You will be too, my sister, just remember that it will be in God's timing not ours.
Love you

Thank you all for your prayers.

Things are looking up.

My employer has decided to close the company I am currently working and as a result I, off corse, hit rock bottom. I really had no idea where I would go or even what I would do. No matter what my situation was regarding the employment I am in, I'm still thankful that I have a job, wich so many ppl in SA can not say.

In any case back to the reason I am so thankful. I'm starting at a new place of employment on the 1st of August 2006. This will also be a start of a new carreer, as it is something that I have never done. I am grateful for your prayers and I thank God for this oppertunity. I can now start from the very beginning, a clean slate and fix what ever went wrong in the first place.

To God all the glory

Thank you all

Wow, Schadri, thanks for the report.  I went all the way back to the top to make sure I understood.  Your story reminded me of a couple of things in my own life.  One, was finding myself in a place where no other Christians were.  The other was, the anticipation of starting a new job, and being so grateful, to those who prayed for me, and to our God, for His provision.  I learned a lot from both situations.  The first one was a tough lesson.  I realized that God sent me to where there were no Christians and the reason was that there were no Christians there!

Well, I am praising God for your news, and will pray now, for your new work and new opportunities beginning today and on August 1st!

My prayer is for your strength, not only in difficult times but in good times as well.

Walking by faith means you see God's hand even in the most difficult of circumstances.

Pat

Shadri, I'm sitting here weeping...weeping with joy for you as you start out in this new career and also weeping with a certain amount of sadness as I realize the difficulties you've been through this past year.

You and your dear father have become so very special to the CP community and I thank the Lord for your post of happiness.

I will continue to pray for you as you start the new job.

Now, get out that camera and get some photos of that wonderful country of South Africa where you live and share them with us!  :)

Lovingly,

Pat
