Title: Prayer needed for mother in law
Post by: Samantha on October 20, 2005, 01:20:27 AM
Hi everyone,

Tonight 10-19-05 my mother inlaw fell and broke her hip severely.  They said it is a bad break clear across under the ball.

She will be having surgery some time tomorrow and is being put in traction as of right now.

Total hip replacement is what she is looking at having done, please remember her and the family.  My father in law had open heart surgery back in April so now we are looking at both of them being down for a while.

Thanks everyone,
Samantha

Samantha - I'm very, very sorry this happened to your MIL.  I pray our God will comfort her greatly and heal her quickly, along with your FIL as well.  I also pray that our Lord will lovingly teach all of you whatever He wants to teach you through it.  Amen and Amen.

Samantha, sorry to hear of the broken hip.  I understand that the total hip replacements work very well and they have them back up and walking very quickly.  I will be praying for her and your family at this trying time.

Thank you all for the prayers, the surgery went well, only took about 1 1/2 hrs.  I thought that was not long enough, but they didn't ask me!.  Now, its just a matter of recovery.  My husband said the dr. said it would be about a year before she was completely healed and rehabed.  This is a woman who when she feels good, loves to be on the go!

Thanks again,

Samantha :)

Thanks for the update, Samantha.  Poor lady.  We'll keep her in our prayers.
