Greetings Everyone!
As you can see, I have yet to learn how to fancy up my messages, but I think you all understand. Its mighty hot in Minnesota. We have had a so called "wave" of above ninety days...before that we had weeks and weeks of rain. In the last few months, I have lost a lot of classmates as well. Its one of those things that makes you reflect....and to cherish and value life all the more.
My grandson has been having a wonderful time on his little missions trip. We hosted one of the wonderful young people along with him for a week when he was here in town. Thank you all so much for prayer.
When he is here in the apartment, he is a big sixteen year old whose feet are too big and arms threatening to loosen up some of my precious knick knacks. When he is away from me, he becomes the ten month old he was when I began the journey of raising him. Go figure. I shall become a basket case when college comes around, so please start praying for me right now! LOL
I am asking for specific prayer. I am sending off my manuscript to a promising publisher tomorrow. I am past my little deadline, but I am excited and fearful all at once.
I feel something good is about to happen. I talked with my personal contact there and he is sure that something good WILL happen. Then why am I scared?
My knees and teeth are rattling.
Also, I am having a little womens gathering in my apartment in August and I am not living in the best of conditions. My apartment is clean and neat but the hallways smell and there is a lot of shall I say, "Activity" on the streets.
I know so many loving women ( sister friends) who have braved even my worst environments, left their comfort zones ( manicured lawns, etc) to come and fellowship with me. We were going to rent a small party room but the group downsized as people had other commitments. The others, about ten women...are eager to come and cook and fellowship and have a fun, fine time. These are all women who mean an awful lot to me, from all walks of life. I want to celebrate the joy of women friends. Please pray that I will not get cold feet and cancel. God has specifically told me to re-open my apartment to people and let Him do the rest.
Needless to say, the spirit is willing but the flesh is certainly weak!
I thank all of you for prayer....I have felt them and asked God to bless you in kind.

Zee, if God is for you, who can be against you. Go for it and He will certainly bless you, as well as your friends, as you gather.
I know the reticense to try something new or step into a new realm. Trust Him and know that underneath are the everlasting arms to protect and comfort you.
I'm praying for God's best for your life ... It seems to me you are past due. ;)
Zee I am praying for you dear sister. The joy of the Lord is your strength, He will be with you sister in all that you are doing. I pray your sisters in the Lord will come and that you will all enjoy your time together.
