Title: Prayer
Post by: Lizzy on October 01, 2007, 02:06:02 PM
Well, this prayer request is nothing really but when your life is usually normal and them a monkey wrench is thrown into it is gets overwhelming and with prayer my intentions are to stop the overwhelming part before it starts so my faith can begin to rise above it. My husband's truck is not working right now and it is not looking good. We have no clue about cars and don't have the money to buy a new one. We are out of debt (except for our home) and we want to keep it that way if we can. We don't really know what is wrong with his truck as of today but he got the oil changed hoping they could tell him something and they just gave him bad news. Something about his battery going bad and when he got home he had it smoking. So, I don't know what we are going to do or what is going to happen. Just pray for knowledge and more faith that God is going to take care of it. Our friends just went through 3 cars this week, all of them dead, and God granted them a new car last night for free. Which we spoke His awesomeness all day and had faith He was going to take care of them and He did so I have no doubt that He won't take care of us. It's just overwhelming when your world is turned upside down sometimes. Thanks all. God bless.

Awwww...  I'm sorry you're going through this at this time.  It's so good to be out of debt and these cars and vehicles are so expensive sometimes to run.

I'll be praying for you in this time of need in your life, Lizzy.

Thanks for posting this.

Father, as I know You want me to be, I'm before You for Lizzy/husband and their truck.  I pray, Father, that You'll either give them the needed wisdom or put them in touch with the right person who has the needed wisdom.  Father, their finances are not their, but they are Yours, so I pray You'll enable them to remain debt free.  Oh do these things, gracious and merciful Father, through our Lord Jesus Christ.
