Title: Prayers Please
Post by: Angibaby on July 24, 2005, 10:07:12 PM
My dad was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer last week. He's home with me now, but is getting weaker by the day. I really don't think he's got long. Please pray for a peaceful and painless passing.

Thanks.

Angibaby,

I will be praying for you and your dad.  I lost my dad to a brain tumor 10 yrs ago, so I can relate.

Take Care,

Samantha

Oh Father, I pray for Angela and her dad.  I pray that if it's Your best for them to take him at this time, then, Father, grant him a merciful and gracious entrance into Your everlasting kingdom - through our Lord Jesus Christ.

My prayers for you and your father.  I lost my husband to lung cancer and my mother to colon cancer.  I truly pray for you to be able to just lean on Him during this time and that your dad's passing will be one of ease.

Yes, I also lost my father to lung cancer and my mother to colon cancer ... my daughter died with pancreatic cancer.  BUT our God is always an AWESOME GOD.  I am praying that your father will enjoy a peaceful and comforting passing into eternity and that the family that remains and is grieving will be comforted with a love that passes all understanding.

I add my prayers to all those above, and add that I am praying for the family.  That there will be sufficient closure and release into the arms of Jesus.  That all that needs to be said and done will be accomplished and the passing - whenever it may be - will be a peaceful and loving goodbye......and with Jesus in our lives - I pray your dad is a child of the King before he passes ---we will only say - "see you at HOME later"  May God grant you the strength to endure this time with grace and love --- it is a very hard place but great is HIS strength for you.
