This has become a worrisome week for my SIL and daughter. For 25yrs. my SIL has had a large account and a wonderful relationship with a local company. Now the company has been purchased by a large eastern conglomerate....260M for all their branches. When this happens, many changes occur and most accounts go out for re-bidding. Since a number of competitors underbid and underpay their employees, this causes many problems for a man like my SIL, who has long term employees that he pays top money and treats with care and respect.
This is happening a lot now, with the district developing so rapidly. The mentioned account is crucial to keeping everyone on staff and is quite important to the security of his company. It is no longer possible to feel confident that a good reputation, excellent work and reliability will suffice in this strange world we now live in. So, just when things finally got better for them after Wendy's accident, this terrible worry has landed on the doorstep!
Would ask that those who have time and feel moved to do so, please pray that the management will not change his contract and they will continue to use his services for years to come. I expect the changes will be gradual, so praying about this is going to be a long term thing in this house.
God Bless,
Liz
I will definitely keep this on my prayer list, Liz. As you noted, this can be an ongoing concern for some time. Also, as I see your tag line ... never lose faith that our Father knows all about it and you and all involved ... He cares more than you do. :) Trust Him to make all things right for your SIL and Wendy, as they remain true to Him and continue the good work they have always done.
I am praying too Liz.
Liz, I know this is such a burden for all three of you. But God knows all about it, and He has only their best interests at heart. I will pray that they have favor with the new owners. The favor of God changes many things!
Praying Liz
Thanks everyone. It will be some time before the changes start....sort of like waiting for a shoe to drop! Will trust in God and prayer. :)
