Title: Snowboarding accident
Post by: Marilyn on March 21, 2005, 07:25:53 PM
Gilbert and Sarah went to  Mount Shasta on saturday, Sarah skied while Gilbert tried snowboarding for the first time. (He used to be pretty good on a skateboard) Early on in the day he fell and wrenched his knoee but continued on throughout the day to snowboard. He called me last night to tell me about it and I told him to put ice on it.

He used the excuse that being inthe snow there was plenty of ice on it and it was too cold last night for ice and he wanted to Put on the heating pad. Do kids ever listen to the parent?. Ha!

Oh, Marilyn:  My heart skipped a beat when I saw "Snowboarding Accident"  - thank the Lord that it is not a head injury.  Not to minimize the pain from the knee problem at all but those snowboards are so dangerous.  It is good to read that Gilbert is doing a little better and I hope that his knee heals completly.
