Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

This particular shot is quite personal. The withered leaf that is just about to fall but is still hanging on
to the twig, somewhat reminds me of myself in the lowest point of my life.

There was a time when my journey was all uphill and bumpy. I tried to hang on but the load I was carrying was too heavy. The weight was pulling me down. Every step was a painful push.

Exhausted and battered by all obstacles, I rested for a while.
As I stood there, I looked up in the sky and prayed,

"Dear God, if I must fall, there is just one thing I ask.
It doesn't matter how I drop but when I hit the bottom,
please give me the strength to get up, for I will certainly
give it another try."

We all faced seemingly hopeless predicaments at times.
It is in those situations when we are tested and should turn to the power of prayer.
God is all about love and mercy.

Mario, thank you for the great photo, and for the testimony.  Yes, we all do at some point face situations that seem hopeless.  It is then that we know that we have true HOPE in our Savior, who sees us through.

Mario,
Oh my...that is just beautiful.   :'(    I love the way you expressed your feelings with that picture, it's so fitting.  I certainly have been there, and kinda feel that way right now (dealing with a serious illness)...but I know that God will always be with me no matter what happens.

Father God, please sustain Mario in his weaknesses, for when we are weak, you make us strong.  Give him your strength to keep pressing on.  We thank you Father, that you care about us enough to lift us up and comfort us when our sorrows are too much to bear.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

One of my favorite songs when I need Jesus' encouragement.  :)

That is a lovely prayer! Thanks, CapturedbyGrace.
I am also praying that you surmount all obstacles and may our Lord heal your illness and sorrows.
God bless you.
