Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Psalm 96

The Lord is always worthy to have "new songs" sung to Him.  He is always doing things that should impress us as being new and most wonderful if only we have eyes to see them. The revelation of His glory, as it is observable each day in His wondrous works, should certainly inspire us to compose and sing new songs. He's the dynamic, living Lord of the universe, the Lord Who can and does interact daily and hourly, with His creation.  He isn't a mere god afar off who never bothers with things here below.

This psalm tells us that everyone living in God's  creation should give Him glory.  In the song they sing, "Give to the Lord, O families of the peoples, give to the Lord glory and strength.  Give to the Lord the glory due His Name; bring an offering and come into His courts."  Not only Israel, but all families of the earth are obliged to praise Him, to thank Him, and to serve Him.

Sometimes we forget that all peoples in all places are thus obliged. And because we forget, we fail to proclaim His sovereign rights - His claims over all.  Instead, we plead with people.  We say, "Please come to the Savior - He'll make your life better!" Instead we should be saying with Paul, "God now COMMANDS men everywhere to repent." (Acts 17:30, 31)

It's God's world in China and in Nepal; it's His world in Germany and England; it's His world in North and South America, in New Zealand and in Japan. We should plainly tell people everywhere that there is a Lord over all and that He deserves their praise and worship.  We should be saying with the psalmist, "Say among the nations, 'The Lord reigns; the world is firmly established.  It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously."  In fact, we should be telling everyone, everywhere that ". . . He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth.  He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with His truth!"

The Japanese, the Ghanian, the Iranian – all awake each day in GOD'S world, and they owe Him a "new song" for each new day.  Let us therefore proclaim God's truth in God's world to all people, for all ought to bow before Him and praise Him!
