Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

I acknowledge I have no talent in this hobby as evidenced by my
posts. Especially when it comes to people pictures. Though I love
capturing people experiencing life events in candids it most often
leaves me with a sense of having invaded. I think I have captured
such a moment with this shot. Shortly after taking the picture I was
given the opportunity to talk with this beautiful young lady and share
a few verses of scripture along with the photo. Toward the end of
our conversation she asked teary eyed but bravely, "Oh please,
could I have a copy of this?" As if I could possibly have said no. At
that point I was near ready to give her the entire camera.
I will not share the details but believe the composition, body posture,
and facial expression tell the story. You be the judge, for I am becoming
just a sentimental old man with a camera and far too many memories.

Thought I'd ad this one taken seconds before the shot in the original post.

Oh, my!  I would make a guess that those photos illustrate a broken heart.   :'(  How great, Jim, that you had a chance to share scripture  with her and explain our Lord's unfailing love.

How moving, Jim. May God bless you - you're doing His work.

...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

What a story those pictures tell!   Well done and I will pray that your time with her bears fruit!
