I really like the sharpness of the colours.

Oh, I agree...such vibrant colours!  What a great photo.  Wonder what he's looking at. :)

Our Father loved the trains.  He would have been up talking to this gentleman.  I can just see it!

I love the colours.  I too wonder what he is looking at.

I paid for my college fees by driving spikes each summer.   (Back in the days before they had spiking machines)

I love railroads.   My father was a roadmaster on the CMSt.P&P, and we traveled on trains when we went anywhere.

A very civilized and comfortable way to travel.  I miss it.
