I often speak of having coffee each morning at our local cafe with a group of friends. One day last week my good friend Rod brought his camera and we had one of the waitresses take our picture. I am the one under the little arrow (which I added) :).

Nice looking group, Larry. It is great that you have this time together each morning. Fellowship with friends is so important.
That looks like a congenial bunch of guys, Larry! And I'm glad you have this social time with friends, that is important!
I used to be part of a gathering like that every morning, and I miss it.
They look like a good group to coffee with, Larry. From now on when you talk of getting together with them at the cafe, we can know who you're with. I'm glad you let have a look at this gang. :)
I have been meeting with some of these men for 9 years and never in that time has there been a disagreement or argument. We just enjoy being together. We have some running jokes like who is to blame if the Braves don't win the baseball game the previous day and other really important things. We have an open group and very often new men join us. So far we have been able to squeeze in anyone who was there. Of course, a couple of the other tables don't have chairs for people to sit. :) It is obvious that we all enjoy coming to the Cafe each morning.
I see one youngster in the group, very diverse group you have Larry.
Great looking bunch of men including yourself. Any of them single?....how old?....inquiring minds want to know!! ;) ::) 8) :o ;D ;D ;D
Etta.....you took the words out of my mouth ;D ;D
I just may need to make a trip to Atlanta for something and drop in at the cafe!!
Etta Sue and Kathy, only one of the group pictured is single and he is the oldest member of the group being 82. He cared for his invalid wife for several years before she passed away about 10 years ago.
Marilyn, the young man in the group is the fellow I pick up each morning. He has an inoperable brain tumor and had to retire on disability a couple of years ago. He is 51 or 52 and a very nice man. He is our resident Yankee as he comes from Pittsburg.
HAHA - Larry.... I was wondering if some of our "available gals" would "check out these guys"...haha.
Now when you mention going for coffee with the guys....we will be able to picture each of you. As has been mentioned.....it is so good to have fellowship like that.
Is it EVERY MORNING that you all meet?
are any Christians?
Judy, I believe all of the men are Christians and most attend church. The young man in the picture, Ed, is Greek Orthdox. We have Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Disciple of Christ (Christian) and probably some others. We do get together everyday except Sunday. On Friday morning we meet at the local Senior Center. The other days we are at the cafe.
Great photo, Larry.
Nice photo's, Larry.
Drat, Etta Sue. We are out of luck again....... :'(
