Title: Home for Christimas

Meagan came home for Christmas this week, and we went to the King Tut exhibit, and today took the train down to Ft. Worth Stockyards.

Meagan was surprised that they let anyone on the train, and then come by to check tickets.  Tradition means a lot on railroads.   Still have the little water coolers with conical paper cups.
There were even antimassacar fittings, although they use velcro now, instead of little nickle-plated fasteners.

I forgot how much I love traveling by train.

I haven't been on a train since I was a kid but would love to do it again and again.
Great photos I'm sure you had a wonderful time.
Where do you live?.

I live in a suburb of Dallas.  The train ride is less than 60 miles, but it's fun.
