Thought I'd post this photo of my dad's Navy memorabilia, that I took for my mother for Christmas last year.  Today would have been his 80th. birthday had he not gone home to be with the Lord.  Happy Birthday, Dad!

Thank you for the nice words!  Yes, I framed it in a shadow box and also framed the flag from the funeral in one of those triangular boxes so they can hang together on her wall.  She LOVED it!  I also have the 13x19 that I entered in the fair and won 3rd. place.  It's actually sharper than it appears here online, I think I forgot to sharpen it for web use.  oh well.  For my dad's memories' sake, I wish it had been a 1st. place finish.  (okay, for myself, too.   )
