Thought I'd post this photo of my dad's Navy memorabilia, that I took for my mother for Christmas last year. Today would have been his 80th. birthday had he not gone home to be with the Lord. Happy Birthday, Dad!

What a thoughtful gift, and the picture turned out great. Did you have it enlarged and framed?

Thank you for the nice words! Yes, I framed it in a shadow box and also framed the flag from the funeral in one of those triangular boxes so they can hang together on her wall. She LOVED it! I also have the 13x19 that I entered in the fair and won 3rd. place. It's actually sharper than it appears here online, I think I forgot to sharpen it for web use. oh well. For my dad's memories' sake, I wish it had been a 1st. place finish. (okay, for myself, too. ;))
