I once had a 24mm Sigma wide angle lens, bit too wide for my liking but this is one of the few times I used it, in Astley Hall Chorley, in their exhibition room. The event was the Lancashire and Cheshire, Photographic Union Exhibition, its an interclub exhibition in which all the camera clubs in the Lancashire and Cheshire are affiliated, mainly to supply lecturers to different clubs. The L&CPU is in turn a member of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. I dont know who the person was, but it sounded like he was from Southport, and is that an early Leica I see dangling from its neck strap?
What a wonderful place to go to view the work of others of like mind.
