Interesting. I think it needs to be brightened a touch for my taste.

The eyes follow the models "eye direction" and out of the frame.  If that is what you wanted, then it works very effectively.  I like it because it gives motion to the shot.  The dof is shallow enough to allow the background to be identifiable, but doesn't distract from the subject and I like the yellow shirt -- it is an attention grabber.  My only "gripe"is that his hand looks a bit unnatural.  It is almost like a scene from "The Sound of Music" or something.

The others shots where you see him on the pole from a distance are a tad reminiscent of "Singing in the Rain" or such.... *LOL*

since you were most likely using available light in overcast situation, it looks good, you got the shutter fast enough to freeze the shirt in motion but also the photo is overall "just bright enough".

I'm guessing between 1.8 - 3.4 aperature and about 1/80 or 1/100 shutter....

Looks pretty good I think...
