Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Last week when I was at the big St. Jacob's Market, I saw this elderly man sitting on a bench away across the the other side of many of the venues.

I call this photo...

ALMOST A SMILE?

This elderly man was sitting waiting for his family at the St. Jacobs Farmers Market and after I took this photo of him from a great distance, he proceeded to straighten his cap and his collar! Once a police officer--always a police officer! He didn't miss a thing!

He was a delightful gentleman. I went over to chat with him later and he had a Police Assn. cap on and he was retired from the Police and is 92 years old!

Here's the same photo in B&W.

Which do you all like best?

You know I like the black and white the best.  It seems to give age to the photo.

It would be nice if you had got his address, his family would have enjoyed a copy!

He certainly looks healthy and vigorous for 93.   I hope I look that good when I'm that old.
