I think, my favourite picture of my best mate, no thats not her bike, just happened to be there, we were having a long walk up the beach in the Algarve, taken about four years ago, she would be about 83 then, you know its the light of Christ that keeps her looking so fresh. She used to be a Jehovah's Witness, until one night when the Lord broke into her life late one night, and her son in laws life. He told her what he had seen in Roman's 11 concerning the Jews, that God unlike the witnesses teaching was going to restore Israel at a future date.
So Margery being the talkative type, went telling the all witnesses she could no longer belong to the organisation, that Israel had not been abandoned by God, showing them the scriptures in Romans 11, which they had no explanation for, and frightened them bad style, so she got charged with heresy, and got kicked out of Jehovah's Witnesses, its a lot longer story than that, it involves John's wife, Margery's daughter being pregnant, whilst Margery was looking after the other couple of Sylvia's kids, something to do with the fact they had measels whilst they were with their grandma.
John was also a witness, and when he came over to pick up the kids, he had seen the scriptures in Romans 11, didn't say anything to Margery except, "If you don't speak to me anymore I'll understand." That night God woke Margery up and told her that just as Saul was doing, she was persecuting the church. Ithink this should go in testimonies. :cp:
