Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

For school I had to do some self portraits (It's a Photo Illustration course). It was the first time that I've EVER shot tethered and wow...that helped an incredible amount! Anyways, here's one of the final images.

It was shot in front of a window...Here's the info on the settings if anyone is interested
1/20sec @ f/1.8
85mm
ISO 100
No Flash
Canon Rebel XS (my shutter trigger doesn't fit the 7D)

This is a great picture. Different. You are a beautiful woman!
Thanks for sharing.

I commented on this and my post went poof!

This is an excellent example of what can be done with a camera.  You are lovely.  Keep up the good work!

Darn good job there Marissa. Hard to shoot in to a window at times.
I also enjoy shooting tethered, though I don't do so very often.
A recovering sinner,
my name is Jim, and I love Jesus.†

Beautiful portrait of a lovely lady.

But please, for the untechnical among us (me!)...  what do you mean "shooting tethered"?
