Braver than me, by far!!
I was sort of hesitant at first and hugged the wall alot. It took some getting used to again. I even won a free pass playing on of the games.
Way to go, Grandma!! ;) Were your grandkids impressed? Did Gilbert think you'd lost your mind? (Inquiring minds want to know.........)
The grand kids weren't in the least impressed, they acted like it was the thing to do. The other grandparents who are much younger than I also skated.Gilbert encouraged me to skate, he remembers when we used to go skating all the time when he was young.
Whoo Hoo Marilyn!!!! You go girl! Now if I could only find a smiley doin' the "Cabbage Patch" :em:
Were you well padded Lass?? :)
Nope no padding at all just me.

HAHAHA! If it was me doing that, I think my kids would pretend that they didn't know me hoping I wouldn't fall!
I have done a lot of crazy things in my life, but I haven't gone roller skating -- it's too dangerous! LOL! Hope you had fun!
Sam
I had a blast. Thank you very much. :P
I met my first husband roller skating, and still have my skates downstairs. Whether I will ever put them on again is another story...lol
