Title: Soccer Sisterhood
Post by: Barbarian on June 06, 2007, 10:22:00 PM
I found this one, several years old now.   At the time, Ginger was a college player, and Meagan was in her second year of club soccer.

Ginger is now coaching highschool and club soccer in Iowa, and Meagan is beginning high school.

They are separated by ten years and united by sisterhood and love of the game.

Ginger starting for her last college game.   There were some tears after that one.

Grubby lot, um?

Oh, my but they worked hard to get that dirty!  LOL

I love soccer!  Each of my children played it and nearly all of the grandchildren did.

Thanks for sharing these!

The dirtiest one, BTW, is mine.   One game, the ball crossed the other team's goal, and one UTM player went horizontal trying to head it.

Someone said:
"Who was that?"

His wife said:
"Only Ginger would throw her body at the ball like that."

Way to go Ginger!

I love the ones of the sisters.  It is great to see young people valuing each others friendship like that.

These are great remembrances fir the future.  You must be really proud!
