The Urban Climber

Here is a high-rise window cleaner. A dangerous job and often overlooked.
Shot with canon SX10.

Not a job I'd want, or a place I'd want to be!

Of course, I don't like washing windows even with both feet inside and on the floor.   ;D

I don't blame you, Jeanne.

What building is that.  Our grandfather as I remember was a window washer for a Hotel in Toronto.

I wouldn't like that job either.  I don't like heights at all.

Well taken though, I like the fact that he is silhouetted against such a blue sky.

Wonderful silhouette. Shows the job at hand and for me a dizzying one! Great capture!  :)

I was at my daughter's condo when I snapped this one.
I always admired the rock climbing shots and the suicidal photographers who shoot them.
I wanted to do some crazy shots like those too but I will settle for High-rise Window Cleaner for now.
