I don't have one of those fancy kinds of "greeting-card" posts that some do, but I certainly do pray God will greatly bless you two and grant you happiness - and always a sense of His wonderful presence through Jesus Christ our Lord.

I also want to add my congratulations on your wedding Trisha and Jacob. May God richly bless your union and I pray that you will have many happy years together.
Trisha and Jacob, it has been quite a journey for the two of you already! You have come through such a lot together, and your love has stayed strong. So I wish you the best life has to offer. May you always stand strong together, always defend each other, always trust each other, and always keep your hands in the Hand of the Father.
And a little word of advice: Never go to bed angry with each other.
With much love to both of you.........Janet
Congratulations!
Trisha and Jacob, let me add my good wishes to the others. God bless you two. Keep Him in your life and you will have happiness and success.

Congratulations to you and I wish you peace and happiness throughout your lives. Carol
Trisha and Jacob, I was so happy to see the message from Janet to you about not going to bed angry.
The night before our wedding, my father gave me a verse to claim as our own for our life together.
After the rehearsal at the church, the pastor took Jack and I into his office and gave us a verse.
When we went on our honeymoon to a Christian Lodge for the long May Holiday weekend, the owner of the Lodge (a retired missionary) sat with us at the table and gave us a verse.
All through our 40 years of married life, we tried to remember to follow the verse as all three persons--my father, the pastor and the owner of the lodge--gave us the same verse.
There were times when we didn't obey it but the nights that we did were oh, so much better!
Here's the verse:

Trish and Jacob, here is a little story that may encourage you as you start down the road of life together:
THE POWER OF HOLDING HANDS
I was sitting on a beach one summer day, watching
two children, a boy and a girl, playing in the sand.
They were hard at work building an elaborate sandcastle
by the water's edge, with gates and towers and moats
and internal passages.
Just when they had nearly finished their project,
a big wave came along and knocked it down, reducing
it to a heap of wet sand. I expected the children to
burst into tears, devastated by what had happened to
all their hard work.
But they surprised me. Instead, they ran up the shore
away from the water, laughing and holding hands, and
sat down to build another castle. I realized that they
had taught me an important lesson.
All the things in our lives, all the complicated
structures we spent so much time and energy creating,
are built on sand. Only our relationships to other
people endure. Sooner or later, the wave will come
along and knock down what we have worked so hard to
build up. When that happens, only the person who has
somebody's hand to hold will be able to laugh.
Congratulations to the both of you.
Always remember to kiss each other goodnight.
WELCOME HOME TRISH AND JACOB!!
