Morning Devotional...Looking upon Jesus as He walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! John 1:36
There was something precious about the walk of Christ.
It was a walk of true obedience and was marked by perfection. It was a walk which never faltered, stumbled, or wandered.
He never had to retrace. Every step He took had a sense of purpose and took Him closer to Calvary.
Indeed all the way to Calvary He went for me.
Never man walked like Him.
--John M. CleggO Lord, when we the path retrace,
Which Thou on earth hast trod,
To man Thy wondrous love and grace,
Thy faithfulness to God.
--James G. Deck
Okay PAT!! I was just posting this message when you snuck in behind me and locked the door! hmmmmph >:( That's okay ... I just copied it and will now repost it, so there! :P
I suppose PAT will be along any minute now to lock the door. ::)
I just received this link from my daughter Joy, Bryan's mother. She says people are always talking about how they hate the situation in Iraq and how stupid and senseless it is to be there ... that doesn't set too well with the moms and grandmas who have soldiers there, y'know. Well, she says this link is a really good answer to all those naysayers. If you visit this site, click on the link at the very end (you can barely see it) that says "info" ... you will be truly touched--or you should be. :(

Hi daryyl! How are you tonight? Come on in and tell us a little about yourself.
Sorry, Jane! I even looked to see who was online and when I locked it, it didn't show anyone! But you've got me crying! :'( :'( :'( Sawwy!!!
Sonja, did you see Darryl has sent some photos?
Nice one of his grandsons and one is called ZACHERY!!!
Hello, my name is Nerbard. I was once a member of a nice group of people called Christer Photographians. They were the greatest. I just recently stumbled onto this site and wondered if maybe you are the same people??? Is there somebody name Pot Scatt here? What about Sofino? And then there was this really strange one, a Harry Lanna. I also have vague memories of a young man named Loo Kirkweed.
Funny thing, my wife always went by the screen name Markat. I'm pretty sure I saw one of your moderators listed as Karmat. That's funny!
I was really baffled to see Iain. He looks just like the Iain on the other site!!! How on earth could that be????
<sorry to have been away so much. miss all you guys>
HAHAHA! You nut!
Nards...you are "1 over the 8".....Thought you were "tee-total".
8.45 a.m. England.
Good Morning from over here...
Pat The Lord put a scripture on my heart before I arose this morning and it fits with your devotional..
He set His face to go to Jerusalem
I felt Jesus telling me not to be side-tracked by all the upheaval going on around me but to continue looking only unto Him., Yes indeed
"All the way to Calvary He went for me,
He went for me, He went for me.
All the way to Calvary He went for me
And now He sets me free.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
Sweetest Name I know,
Fills my heart with longing,
Keeps me singing as I go"
:) :) :)
The Lord Bless and Keep you.
The Lord make His face to shine upon you
and give You His peace.
Love Jenny.
Just a quick one. My arm is still hurting and it is the Holiday Season. This hurt is totally different than a couple of weeks/months ago. Now I am thinking it is bursitis.! Pain and agony!
Ready for church. Not letting any pain keep me away from church...<:))))><<~~<:))))><<~~<:))))><<~~<:))))><<~~<:))))

Hi everyone. It is a beautiful cold and sunny day here in Georgia. Pat and I will be going to Sunday School and Church shortly. We don't plan on going out to lunch as later this afternoon we have been invited to a friends home for refreshments.
Nards, you are too much. Don't think I have ever been called that before! :D
Etta Sue, another beautiful graphic this morning. Sorry to here about your continued pain and sure hope it isn't bursitis as know that is extremely painful.
Jenny, thanks for sharing the scripture this morning and continuing the theme of the devotional message that Pat chose for us today.
In my devotional readings this morning was the following statement:
QuoteYou can trust the Bible—God always keeps His word.
Marilyn, very often some of the updates will go ahead and change the home page setting on your computer. I have had that happen many times. I know you will enjoy having your grandchildren there to play the games on your computer.
Zachery, I can't think of a nicer Christmas present you could give to all of us than your love. Thanks.
Pat, I find a treadmill so boring that I can hardly stand to walk on them. I also don't have room for one in my house. I much prefer to just walk even if it is around a gym. They have a very well marked track at the YMCA gym. Only problem would be if there are a number of people playing basketball there at the same time but think that is mainly in the evenings.
Janet, that was a very nice thing you did in writing to our troops. You have a very kind heart.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Lord's Day. I will be able to sit in the congregation today as our choir has the day off. Our bell choir is playing for the service this morning.

Good morning! I just wanted to pop in and greet all of you before I jump into the shower!
We will be away for most of the day, but I will check back in when I get home.
I wish you all a Christ-centered and lovely day!
Good Morning to you all. Pat thank you so much for the devotional this morning, Jenny thank you for your additions to the devotional.
I am just stopping by for a moment before I get ready for church to say hello and tell you all that I am praying for everyone of you here.
Larry I do hope you will be getting better for all your walking.
Etta Sue a beautiful graphic. You done good sister on you PSP lessons. Maybe sometime I will have the time to do the same. Working 6 days per week doesn't give me much time for being artistic.
I will be back later after church.

A beautiful Sunday to each and every one of you! We are so looking forward to Christmas Eve and family is going to attend a service in a real barn this year and everyone wears casual clothes and dresses warmly - I have always wanted to be there just to experience the simple service for a change.
Jane: What a compelling site you gave us - yes, we cannot forget. I pray daily for our soldiers and service people.
Etta Sue: I love your quilted heart - that would be nice to print and put on my stationary. Sorry about your arm hurting and it does sound like it has gone on long enough for you to get in to see a doc about this pain. :)
Soni: Your snow globe is so neat. So much talent in this place & you are doing great! Carol
Hello all!
Just popping in for a minute. We went to church this morning, and are heading back in a minute or two to put the "finishing touches' on the play. We'll see what happens.
i hope all is going well for you all. It's still snowy and cold here (at least in some parts -- the snow is still on the ground, but hte sky is blue), and I am ready for CHRISTmas!!! WooHoo. Almost here!
Back laters!
Talk about a fun day.
We are back from church. I sang in the choir today. I was a bit nerves but we did ok.
We also had the Lord's Supper.
The boys are at a Birthday party. Bowling! Fun!

I got the baby to sleep so thought I would visit in here with a few of you, but it doesn't look like anyone is here.
I guess I will come back later.
Soni
I'm here, Soni! And I see Al Moak on line too.
Soni I am here>
Just got home from churcha little bit ago. The young lady who is going to stay here while I am in the hospital came home from churchwith me to meet Happydog and bebe. It looks like they are going to be fine with Elizabeth.
We had a little skit this morning from the Childrens chruch kids and teachers. Some songs from one little lady and from wor worship leader (the Pastor's daughter) then the message and last but not the least a wonderful song from Pastor Judy.
Now I am trying to catch the last of the ice skating on TV.
Great, so what you two want to talk about? :D
Mike tooks some pictures of me and the choir today. I will post them in just a minute.
I never did get around to having someone take pictures of me and the choir down south, now I wish I had.
I got a very nice compliment at church today. Ane brother who has been coming for about a month, said that they chose our church to attend because of the Greeting I gave them at the door on their first day. That was so nice of him.
I AM HERE!
Hello Sarah!
That is a nice compliment, Marilyn! Way to go!
Did you all see these photos?

I guess everyone is busy today, we are only on page two! We had a very nice service at church, with the children putting on some little plays. Then the regular sermon, too. I took photos of the kids, will try to get those on in a day or two. I love the kids' programs, they are always so cute. One of the little boys in it fell backward, flat on his little backside! ;D I think he tripped on his robe. He made a quick recovery, though, and the play went on........ :)
Darrel, Mark and I went on over to Liberal and did a little shopping, stopped back by and picked up Abby for the night, now we are home again.
I hope everyone is doing great!

Well I just thought Iwould post ald let you southern folk know what is up here in the frosty north. It is 1*C which translates to about 33*F. We have a fair amount of snow, enough for the girls to go sledding. We have a slope in the front of the house they use, the only problem is the creek is still running. The can avoid it though.
We lit the 4th candle of the advent in church. This is a new custom for me, but I have come to enjoy it. Peace, Joy, Hope and Joy. Christmas Eve we light the center candle.
The girls are excited about Christmas, We are baking a cake and decorating it to say Happy Birthday Jesus. We willbake that on Christmas eve day, and then blow out candles. after dinner. This is something new for our family.
Pat John has not been to VA for about 6 weeks.
Well must go for now,
God bless you all

The Missing Jesus
--author unknown
About a week before Christmas, Mom bought a new nativity
scene. When she unpacked it, she found two figures of the
Baby Jesus.
"Someone must have packed this wrong," Mother said, counting
out the figures. "We have one Joseph, one Mary, three wise
men, three shepherds, two lambs, a donkey, a cow, an angel
and two babies. Oh, dear! I suppose some set down at the
store is missing a Baby Jesus because we have two. You two
run back down to the store, and tell the manager that we
have an extra Jesus. Tell him to put a sign on the remaining
boxes saying that if a set is missing a Baby Jesus, call 7126.
Put on your warm coats, it's freezing cold out there."
The manager of the store copied down Mother's message, and
the next time we were in the store, we saw the cardboard sign
that read, "If you're missing Baby Jesus, call 7126."
All week long we waited for someone to call. Surely, we
thought, someone was missing that important figurine. Each
time the phone rang, Mother would say, "I'll bet that's about
Jesus." But it never was.
Father tried to explain there are thousands of these scattered
over the country, and the figurine could be missing from a set
in Florida or Texas or California. Those packing mistakes
happen all the time. He suggested that she just put the extra
Jesus back in the box and forget about it.
"Put Baby Jesus back in the box?! What a terrible thing to do,"
said Mother. "Surely someone will call. We'll just keep the two
of them together in the manger until someone does."
When no call had come by 5:00 on Christmas Eve, Mother insisted
that Father "just run down to the store" to see if there were
any sets left. "You can see them right through the window, over
on the counter," she said. "If they are all gone, I'll know
someone is bound to call tonight."
"Run down to the store?" Father thundered. "It's 15 below zero
out there!"
"Oh, Daddy, we'll go with you!" We began to put on our coats.
Father gave a long sigh and headed for the front closet. "I
can't believe I'm doing this," he muttered. We ran ahead as
father reluctantly walked out in the cold.
Tommy got to the store first and pressed his nose up to the
store window. "They're all gone, Daddy," he shouted. "Every
set must be sold. Hooray! The mystery will be solved tonight!"
Father heard the news still a half block away and immediately
turned on his heel and headed back home. When we got back into
the house, we noticed that mother was gone and so was the extra
Baby Jesus figurine.
"Someone must have called, and she went out to deliver the
figurine," father reasoned, pulling off his boots. "You kids
get ready for bed while I wrap mother's present." Then the phone
rang. Father yelled, "Answer the phone and tell 'em we found a
home for Jesus."
But it was mother calling with instructions for us to come to
205 Chestnut Street immediately, and bring three blankets, a box
of cookies and some milk...
"Now what has she gotten us into?" father groaned as we bundled
up again. "205 Chestnut. Why that's across town. Wrap that milk
up good in the blankets, or it will turn to ice before we get
there. Why can't we all just get on with Christmas? It's
probably 20 below out there now, snd the wind is picking up. Of
all the crazy things to do on a night like this."
When we got to the house at 205 Chestnut Street, it was the
darkest one on the block. Only one tiny light burned in the
living room, and the moment we set foot on the porch steps,
mother opened the door and shouted, "They're here! Oh thank God
you got here, Ray! You kids take those blankets into the living
room, and wrap up the little ones on the couch. I'll take the
milk and cookies."
"Would you mind telling me what is going on, Ethel?" father
asked. "We have just walked through below zero weather with
the wind in our faces all the way."
"Never mind all that now," mother interrupted. "There is no
heat in this house, and this young mother is so upset, she
doesn't know what to do. Her husband walked out on her, and
those poor little children will have a very bleak Christmas,
so don't you complain. I told her you could fix that oil
furnace in a jiffy."
My mother strode off to the kitchen to warm the milk while
my brother and I wrapped up the five little children who
were huddled together on the couch. The children's mother
explained to my father that her husband had run off, taking
bedding, clothing and almost every piece of furniture, but
she had been doing all right until the furnace broke down.
"I been doin' washin' an ironin' for people and cleanin'
the five and dime," she said. "I saw your number every day
there, on those boxes on the counter. When the furnace went
out, that number kept goin' through my mind, 7162. Said on
the box that if a person was missin' Jesus, they should call
you. That's how I knew you were good Christian people,
willin' to help folks. I figured that maybe you would help
me, too. So I stopped at the grocery store tonight, and I
called your missus. I'm not missin' Jesus, mister, because
I sure love the Lord, but I am missin' heat. I have no money
to fix that furnace."
"Okay, okay," said Father. "You've come to the right place.
Now let's see. You've got a little oil burner over there in
the dining room. Shouldn't be too hard to fix. Probably just
a clogged flue. I'll look it over, see what it needs."
Mother came into the living room carrying a plate of cookies
and warm milk. As she set the cups down on the coffee table,
I noticed the figure of Baby Jesus lying in the center of the
table. It was the only sign of Christmas in the house. The
children stared wide-eyed with wonder at the plate of cookies
my mother set before them.
Father finally got the oil burner working but said, "You need
more oil. I'll make a few calls tonight and get some oil. Yes
sir, you came to the right place." Father grinned.
On the way home, Father did not complain about the cold
weather and had barely set foot inside the door when he was
on the phone. "Ed, hey, how are ya, Ed? Yes, Merry Christmas
to you, too. Say Ed, we have kind of an unusual situation here.
I know you've got that pick-up truck. Do you still have some oil
in that barrel on your truck? You do?"
By this time, the rest of the family was pulling clothes out of
their closets and toys off of their shelves. It was long after
our bedtime, and we were wrapping gifts.
The pickup came. On it were chairs, three lamps, blankets and
gifts. Even though it was 30 below, father let us ride along in
the back of the truck.
No one ever did call about the missing figure in the nativity
set, but as I grow older, I realize that it wasn't a packing
mistake at all...
Jesus saves, that's what He does.
====================
We aren't having church tonight, next Sunday night or the next 2 Wednesdays. So I am wondering where is everyone tonight?
I had Savannah over here for a good part of the afternoon, Gilbert and forest went shopping, then when they got back and after visiting here of a bit, Savannah and Gilbert went home and Forest stayed here and had dinner with me. They each had their time on the computer. That's why I haven't been here.
What's you excuse? Huh? HUh?

No excuse Marilyn. Simply been busy and also battling a seasonal virus.
I went to a nice Christmas luncheon at our church. Also made a trip to Victoria. Had to escape the packing boxes for a city fix.
It has taken me ages to catch up on reading all the posts...finally done. Then went to view the photo's. I have not been at the computer lately have missed hearing about your adventures.
Thanks for the devotionals Pat. I have sent a couple of pictures for you to struggle with again. Promise to learn about everything when settled in my new home. Have even bought a book 'How to do everything with your Digital Camera.' (that will be the day)
This one is for you Mullet!
We have been helping with the cake,
And licking out the pan,
And wrapping up our packages,
As neatly as we can.
We have hung our stockings up,
Beside the open grate,
And there's nothing more to do
Except
To
Wait!

We all have Christmas Socks and it is almost as much fun finding things to stuff as unwrap...Who said that Christmas is just for kids?

A baby in the house. That is always precious! Give him a little kiss for me. :-* ;D
Good morning, friends,
I was in the bed yesterday with chills and sniffly nose, but feel better today. My son recommended zinc and echinacea, and apparently they're helping.
If I can't come back until after Christmas, please know I love you all and wish each person who comes this way a blessed Christmas full of joys and love.

Just a bit of snow on the ground and sunshine today.
Soni: I hope you are not meaning to crochet or knit that blanket for your niece - one day would be a world's record. I take absolutely several years to crochet a baby blanket :-\
I am praying often that nothing will happen in this latest terrorist warning - wish we could catch some of these people here in the USA.
Good Morning Pat Scott - whatever you are up to - you must be really busy. Carol
Ria whats the matter with our Dutch cousins....so they don't like Christmas....Oh dear! :'(
I am trying to look forward to Christmas day also. I will enjoy Midnight Mass, on Television this year but there has been so much sadness in our little close and then with my daughter being very poorly, its hard to be in the festive mood.
God Bless all of you,
Love Jenny.
Good Morning:
Jenny please know that I am praying for your Helen and your neighbors, of course you also.
Well on Saturday Fay reminded me that i only have untilthe 31st to get the car windows fixed. So I spoke to the Brother at church yesterday to see if the window regulator had come in yet. He didn't know so he is going to call first thing this morning to the place who was supposed to order the part for him.
This woman just will not hear what I am telling her, that she has really put me in a financial bind by insisting on her way in her time in this matter. So frustrating when someone has selective hearing. But I am not going to worry about it anymore I will just leave it in the hands of the Lord.
My plans for the day, If the part for the car window has come in, get the window fixed and not go to work. She said she would give me the day off to get the car fixed. I have 2 more gifts to wrap and that's it. All done, ready for christmas. Yesterday I bought the veggies for my contribution to Chirstmas dinner. There is one person who is a strict vegetarian. I was asked to prepare a the dish of one of my specialties.
Well time to do some other things.

Hahahaha...it is a fleece material that I cut slits about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide around all the edges and then tie two of them together to make a really warm and cuddly blanket. All my kids have one. They love them.

Hey there, Zachery! You are so much fun! My little grand-neice got a blanket like that at her shower, it was cute. Looks quick and easy to do. No sewing!
Abby and I went swimming and later she is going to draw pictures for servicepeople. I got more names in an email yesterday, some of them are receiving NO mail at all........very sad. So I will write more letters and enclose drawings from Abby and hope it will cheer a lonely soldier's heart, far from home.
I have a couple more gifts to buy, some to wrap......when I run out of time, then I'm done, I guess. :-\
Hey Pat! How you doing today?
Etta Sue, so sorry about your arm. I use my mouse on a lap board, and still strain my arms. I don't have a keyboard shelf. Hope you get relief---PRONTO!
Good to see all of you this morning, talk more later!

Marilyn, it is sad that lady is so unreasonable about your car window. ??? But I'm glad the problem will soon be behind you, except for the expense. :(
Ria, I hope your eyes feel better today. Cataract surgery isn't bad, not painful at all, so they tell me. I also have the very beginnings of cataracts in my eyes, but not enough to worry with yet. And I am believing for them to stay that way! :)

GOLD, COMMON SENSE AND FUR
My husband and I had been happily (most of the time) married for five years, but hadn't been blessed with a baby. I decided to do some serious praying and promised God that if He would give us a child, I would be a perfect mother, love it with all my heart and raise it with His word as my guide. God answered my prayers and blessed us with a son.
The next year God blessed us with another son. The following year, He blessed us with yet another son. The year after that we were blessed with a daughter.
My husband thought we'd been blessed right into poverty. We now had four children, and the oldest was only four years old. I learned never to ask God for anything unless I meant it. As a minister once told me, "If you pray for rain, make sure you carry an umbrella."
I began reading a few verses of the Bible to the children each day as they lay in their cribs. I was off to a good start. God had entrusted me with four children and I didn't want to disappoint Him.
I tried to be patient the day the children smashed two dozen eggs on the kitchen floor searching for baby chicks. I tried to be understanding when they started a hotel for homeless frogs in the spare bedroom, although it took me nearly two hours to catch all twenty-three frogs.
When my daughter poured ketchup all over herself and rolled up in a blanket to see how it felt to be a hot dog, I tried to see the humor rather than the mess.
In spite of changing over twenty-five thousand diapers, never eating a hot meal and never sleeping for more than thirty minutes at a time, I still thank God daily for my children.
While I couldn't keep my promise to be a perfect mother. I didn't even come close. I did keep my promise to raise them in the Word of God.
I knew I was missing the mark just a little when I told my daughter we were going to church to worship God, and she wanted to bring a bar of soap along to "wash up" Jesus, too.
Something was lost in the translation when I explained that God gave us everlasting life, and my son thought it was generous of God to give us his "last wife."
My proudest moment came during the children's Christmas pageant. My daughter was playing Mary, two of my sons were shepherds and my youngest son was a wise man. This was their moment to shine. My five-year-old shepherd had practiced his line, "We found the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes." But he was nervous and said, "The
baby was wrapped in wrinkled clothes."
My four-year-old "Mary" said, "That's not 'wrinkled clothes,' silly. That's dirty, rotten clothes." A wrestling match broke out between Mary and the shepherd and was stopped by an angel, who bent her halo and lost her left wing.
I slouched a little lower in my seat when Mary dropped the doll representing Baby Jesus, and it bounced down the aisle crying, "Mama, Mama." Mary grabbed the doll, wrapped it back up and held it tightly as the wise men arrived. My other son stepped forward wearing a bathrobe and a paper crown, knelt at the manger and announced, "We are the three wise men, and we are bringing gifts of gold, common sense and fur."
The congregation dissolved into laughter, and the pageant got a standing ovation. "I've never enjoyed a Christmas program as much as this one," Pastor Brian laughed, wiping tears from his eyes. "For the rest of my life, I'll never hear the Christmas story without
thinking of gold, common sense and fur."
My children are my pride and my greatest joy, I said, as I dug in my purse for an aspirin.
Janet, those two stories you have posted are really good. The last one made me chuckle. It sounds like you are having a good time with Abby.
Ria, are you saying that none of your churches have any Sunday School for either the children or adults? I can't image not having Sunday School. In our church we actually have more adults attending Sunday School than children attending. Do hope your eyes will soon be feeling better. I am not familar with the condition you named although it sounds like it is something that involves wthe retinas.
Mullet, I have a little story for you to translate. This is one that my Mother told my sister and I as we were growing up:
As I was going around my whirywhikwakit, a saw a bombackit.
I called my tombackit to get the bombackit out of my whirlywhikwakit.
Can you translate that into everyday language? :o :o As a Junior Member here on CP it should be a breeze. ;D
Marilyn, hope your car window will be fixed by the time you read this and the lady you work for will be satisfied.
Etta Sue, will be we seeing some pictures of that babe? Sorry to hear that the pain continues in your arm.
Liz, glad you are feeling better today and able to get out a bit. I guess your move will be coming up shortly after the holidays. Ruth Ann, sure hope you stay feeling better.
Hi to everyone I haven't mentioned who has or will be posting today.

Mary's Boy Child (http://www.christianphotographers.com/sounds/christmas/marysboychild.mid)
(Click to hear music)
Words & Music by Jester Hairston
Long time ago in Bethlehem
So the Holy Bible say
Mary's Boy Child, Jesus Christ
Was born on Christmas Day
Hark, now hear the angels sing
"New King's born today
And man will live forevermore
Because of Christmas Day."
While shepherds watched their flocks by night
They saw a bright new shining star
And heard a choir from heaven sing
The music came from afar
Hark, now hear the angels sing,
"New King's born today
And man will live forevermore
Because of Christmas Day."
Now Joseph and his wife Mary
Came to Bethlehem that night
They found no place to bear her Child
Not a single room was in sight,
By and by they found a little nook
In a stable all forlorn
And in a manger cold and dark
Mary's little Boy Child was born.
Trumpets sound and angels sing
Listen to what they say
That man will live forevermore
Because of Christmas Day.

The above Christmas Hymn has quite a beat to it. It was written by Jester Hairston, who was the old deacon on the program "Amen" that was on television for several years. He was quite an accomplished musician. I have song this music with our church choir.
I really like that song, Larry. Thanks! And glad you enjoyed the little stories. :)
I know the first one and last ones are wicker basket.
but tombacket and bombacket, not a clue ???
Well I heard some interesiting news today. At about 11:16 a.m. there was a 6.5 earthquake about 500 miles south of here around the Paso Robles area, 200 miles north of Los Angeles.
What else would one expect living in California.?
Nope Larry my car isn't fixed yet, I don't take it in until 2 p.m. I couldn't find anyone to fvollow me there this morning. So I am going tohave to just sit there and wait for it to be finished. But Thank the Lord it will be done whether or not I willb e working for her. I never know when she is going tochange her mind again. At 94, it is a pretty common thing. I hope I am more cooperative should Jesus tarry. If I should live so long. I pray Jesus will come before then.
LARRY thank you for the very nice song Mary's boy child.
But no in hole Holland are no SUNDAY SCHOOLS more that was so when i was child but now i am 52 but i loved Sunday School when i was a child on second
CHRISTMASS DAY then we had Christmass from Sunday
School and then we get all a book the reason there for
was that we every Sunday are coming on Sunday School. BUT IT IS NO MORE
NOW the children are going out the church when the pastor started with his preach and then the children
may play there they can listen to someone they read out the children Bible i also have sometimes that done but no more i don't like that.
When i was child we go first to the church and then to SUNDAY SCHOOL we loved that as child.
But things are changing in Holland
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR WIFE LARRY
LOVE RIA
Hi Everyone!

We Three Kings (http://www.christianphotographers.com/sounds/christmas/wethree.mid)
(Click to hear music)
"Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, 'Where is the One who has been born king of the Jews?'" Matthew 2:1-2
Words & Music: John H. Hopkins, Jr., 1857
We three kings of Orient are;
Bearing gifts we traverse afar,
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.
Refrain
O star of wonder, star of light,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect light.
Born a King on Bethlehem's plain
Gold I bring to crown Him again,
King forever, ceasing never,
Over us all to reign.
Refrain
Frankincense to offer have I;
Incense owns a Deity nigh;
Prayer and praising, voices raising,
Worshipping God on high.
Refrain
Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume
Breathes a life of gathering gloom;
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying,
Sealed in the stone cold tomb.
Refrain
Glorious now behold Him arise;
King and God and sacrifice;
Alleluia, Alleluia,
Sounds through the earth and skies.
Refrain

Hi Pat sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. :'( I pray you will be better very soon. :-\
I spent the last 4 hours at the body Shop while Brother Fred from church worked on the windows of my car. Hey They both work now. Praise the Lord!! ;D
I only had to pay for parts. He spent all that time and then wouldn' t charge me for the labor. Said he didn't want to spoil my Christmas. I just love my brothers and Sisters in the Lord.
Please pray for the people who lost loved ones in the earthquake in Paso Robles, California. A building collaped on many people.

Dear Marilyn,
W32/Sober.c@MM is a Medium Risk mass-mailing worm. The worm arrives as an email with varying subject lines and message bodies (in English and German). When run, the worm displays a series of fake error messages. It then infects the host computer and emails itself to email addresses collected from the victim's machine.
The worm tries to stay alive on an infected system by running two processes concurrently. Upon termination of one of the processes, the other process restarts the worm very quickly.

Marilyn, that is wonderful news about your car window being fixed now, and how nice of the guy not to charge you! God bless him!
I just posted new photos over in Photos Here and Signs of the season, if anyone wants to look! ;)
I met Abby's daddy half way to return her, as they are having their company Christmas party tonight. So it is pretty quiet here now.
Pat I pray that you have continued good health.
Mullet you make me smile.
To everyone else I have enjoyed reading all of the posts.
Pat: I hope that you are feeling better very soon so you can fully enjoy Christmas Eve and Day! Take time to relax that day & care for yourself.
Sonja: hahaha- I know exactly what you make. They are such comfy blankets.
Mullet: I have a son who has Coca Cola objects around the house too. You are lucky to be in such a good and loving family. Oh, now I know what that haircut is called - stay warm!
I won't be in here for several days as we are working at the shelter tomorrow and then staying with a son for several days. All of the food is ready to go and all of our gifts are wrapped. Excitement is building. My best wishes to all for a healthy holiday and it is lovely to know "the reason for the season". Carol
