Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

That's pretty, Marilyn!

Here's a hymn just for you!

Fill Me Now
(Click to hear music)

Be filled with the Spirit.
Ephesians 5:18

Words: Elwood H. Stokes, 1879.
Music: John R. Sweney, 1879

Hover o'er me, Holy Spirit,
Bathe my trembling heart and brow;
Fill me with Thy hallowed presence,
Come, O come and fill me now.

Refrain

Fill me now, fill me now,
Jesus, come and fill me now;
Fill me with Thy hallowed presence,
Come, O come, and fill me now.

Thou canst fill me, gracious Spirit,
Though I cannot tell Thee how;
But I need Thee, greatly need Thee,
Come, O come and fill me now.

Refrain

I am weakness, full of weakness,
At Thy sacred feet I bow;
Blest, divine, eternal Spirit,
Fill with power and fill me now.

Refrain

Cleanse and comfort, bless and save me,
Bathe, O bathe my heart and brow;
Thou art comforting and saving,
Thou at sweetly filling now.

Refrain

Thank you Pat, It is playing now. I have about 50  minutes left on the computer then I am shutting it down for tonight. I want to stick to my fast. No computer after 5 pm. No coffee, more prayer, more quiet time with the Lord.

I have done all the reading I am going to do on the computer for today. I have 4 emails stacked up in my outbox that don't want to go out. They have been there since this morning. I am getting an error message.

Maybe they will go out when I reboot in the morning. I don't usually turn off the computer. I leave it on all the time.  So now I am going to say bye for now.

Evening folks.

My family went to the local water lake/pond and took some pictures of geese and some weird looking ducks with loooong beaks.  Not sure what they are.
We also seen this gal walking toward the water and we asked what she had in the bucket.  She said a turtle and she was going to let him go.  Of course Troy being right next to me seen it and wanted it.  Boys,  ::) !
hehehee... so now we have another new pet.  ;D
Spring and summer are fun.  I wonder what other animals the boys and girls will bring home.

I will post some of the duck shots in a couple days.  I got some pretty good ones.

Welcome to all the "new" people.  I hope you enjoy your time here, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Today has been a long day.  I'm a moderator on another photography site, adn it is unbelievable some of the things we have dealt with today.  I think it is at least partially resolved, for now, though.

I've enjoyed the postings today.  Janet, thanks for the laughs; I needed that.

I think Bernard mentioned that last night our preacher preached on weariness.  He used Noah and the dove as examples.  I was thinking about that today.  If anyone might have grown weary in his mission for God, it could have been Noah.  It rained 40 days and nights, but my understanding is that he was on that boat for over a year.  Imagine being in a boat with your family and several hundred of your pets for a year.  Talk about God's grace.  shew.   I know now that when I grow "tired" of the job God has given me, I can think of Noah (and several other people) and realize that God will never call me to do that which He has not equipped me to do.

I think I am going to read some other forums now. I am also going to try and post some pics!

Good night!

Sonifo

I am going to go ahead and open tomorrows NEM.
Feel free to post a message in there.

I will lock the door in about 10 minutes.  ;D
