Morning Devotional...Has anyone told you today that...
Jesus loves you?!Jesus offers Unconditional Love... (No strings attached)
Romans 5:8
"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (NASB).
Jesus loves you just like you are.
"Jesus loves me! this I know,
For the Bible tells me so."
Jesus provides...Unchangeable Love (Forever the same)
John 15:9
"Just as the Father has loved Me,
I have also loved you; abide in My love" (NASB).
Jesus' love for you never varies or ceases.
"No one ever cared for me like Jesus."Jesus guarantees...Unconquerable Love (Always victorious)
Romans 8:37
"In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" (KJV).
Jesus' love for you put Him on the cross. Nothing can separated you from the love of Christ.
"Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all"How can you experience Christ's love?- Repent of your sins.
Acts 3:19 "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out" (KJV).
Repentance is making a U-turn. You turn from your sins and trun toward God through Jesus.
- Trust Jesus to save you.
Ephesians 2:8-9 "for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (KJV).
Faith is like trusting an airplane to take you on a trip.
- Surrender to Jesus as your Lord.
Romans 10:9 "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved" (NASB)
Surrendering to Jesus as Lord means giving Him control of your life. You do what He wants you to do instead of what you want to do.
To repent of your sins, trust Jesus as Savior and surrender to Him as Lord, pray this prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, and you died on the cross and were raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I turn from my sins and receive you as Savior and Lord. Thank you for saving me.
In Jesus name, Amen. (https://www.christianphotographers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fchristianphotographers.com%2Fforum%2Fgraphics%2Fcross3.gif&hash=86fcd448cb0b0181c501e33266f871959e3011d9)

SONJA thank you very much for the very great
devotional this morning . BUT NO OWN HAS SAY TO ME THIS MORNING JESUS LOVE YOU . You are the first but it is true Jesus loves us just like we are.And thank you also for the nice hymn this morning.
LARRY thank you also for the two nice hymns yesterday. I love the hymns on CP very much. And drugs are also a very great problem in HOLLAND.
ETTA SUE my prayers are for you but i also must never trink caffeinated coffee in the evening then i also can not sleep. When we are in home then we always are
trinking coffee where not in is caffeine.
CHRIS your photo with all the flowers is awesome but can you me also send a butler i have not enough time to do my work. I have to much orther things to do.
MARYLIN what a nice name has one of your dogs. Happydog but a dog must also be happy with such a boss as you how many dogs have you?And you are making awesome pictures with PSP also Etta SUE, SONJA, JEANNE LEE and Pat i hope that i no own forget.
Joyce i also use no more Actonel for my osteoporosis i was getting pain in my stomach from Actonel now i use only a lot calcium tablets. But i have no pain more in my back.
It is sultry warm here in Holland we are afraid that we get a thunderstorm.
This summer we are getting new floors in the hole home we have now floors from hold but we will have
synthetic material on all the floors. That is so easy to make clean because when you have dogs and when it is raining then i can make it clean with water.
But we have the hole morning take a look to what we will have there is such a different in synthetic materiaal.
And i must when i am readdy then i go to the nursinghome but not so long today. When it is dry then i go walk with someone who is coming never outsite. The most are sitting in a wheelchair. But it is being dark here.
Proverbs. 4 : 11
I guide you in the way of wisdom
and lead you along straight paths.
LIGHT AND TRUTH
Lord, let me live one day at a time...
my choises determined by Your will,
my path illumined by Your light,
my faith grounded in Your truth,
my heart set on eternity.

RTPAJ!! TO CP
RIA
Good morning Ruth, Ruth Ann, Sarah and Ria!
I was up bright and early today. 5:30 ;D I got a good nights rest. I think I am starting to feel better. Let's hope it is true this time. ;) :D
It is cold outside so probably won't be spending to much time outside. brrrrss...
I'll be back later.

That is really nice of you to do that for those elderly.
My husband went on a walk about a month ago with the boys and he seen this older man in his wheel chair with his front wheel stuck in a water drain. He couldn't get out, so Mike went over to him and got him out. He told mike he was heading for some town and needed to get there right away. Mike asked which way is it? He lifted his hand and pointed and said "that way". So Mike and this guy in the wheel chair went wheeling off the direction he wanted to go until a nurse stopped them both and asked where they were going. The nurse stated that the guy didn't know what he was doing.
hahahhaa...Mike didn't know either...he just was doing what the older guy asked. He knows better now.
I thought it was a funny story.
Glad you are getting new flooring. ;D

Awww, Soni---I'll bet Mike's face was :-[, but it was nice of him to try to help the old fellow. At Mom's care home, we have to punch in a code to go in and out the doors, because the Alzheimers patients can't remember the code, so that keeps them from wandering off.
Hey, RIA!!! Jesus loves you! ;D ;D ;D
Hello to Ruth, and Ruth Ann, have a good trip to Atlanta.
Ria, I really like what you wrote today (as usual--you always write such nice things.)
LIGHT AND TRUTH
Lord, let me live one day at a time...
my choises determined by Your will,
my path illumined by Your light,

There is so much truth in these lines. Thank you.
Hey, Patz!! Got that computer up and running again yet??
I am leaving in a few minutes to go to Abby's program. It isn't until 2 this afternoon, but she wants me to come early, get her lunch, help her dress and take her to school, as she has to be there early. Her Mom is really busy getting ready for their annual Open House at their business tomorrow and Saturday. Abby has already called to check on me, if I am coming early! ;) :)
Hello to all you other friends who will stop in later!
OOPS!! I forgot to say thank you, Soni, for helping Pat out! I know it must be a lot of work, but it will s-t-r-e-t-c-h you! ;D
Hi there Sarah! Have a good time at your Prom! Remember, you are only young once! Good to have you posting!
Well, thank you, Jane!!! Sometimes it seems like we are talking to a wall in our posts, doesn't it? ::)Jane, about your clavical...this too shall pass. Take it easy while you are healing. Let your friends take over. I see Chris' butler is on the way!!! ;)
Joyce ~ I have my CT scan for my liver Monday morning. They did tell me I have a fatty liver...whatever that means. ??? I kind of laughed and said, 'That doesn't surprise me! Everything else on me is fatty!!!' ;DThe nurse didn't laugh. :-\ Ivalou doesn't have problems swallowing...it is after she swallows. The food gets lodged in a space of about 4-inches in her esophagus right behind her breast bone.
Larry ~ I know very little about livers. No one in my family or close friends have ever had any problems with their liver. So this is all new to me!!! :o I go for my CT scan Monday morning.
Nita ~ Thanks for putting me on your prayer list. It seems that I have seen a doctor or a specialist once a week since the new year and I feel fine!!! :P Thank God for insurance. In 1993 I had a cat neutered and declawed...$42 at the same place I am taking Inky. :'(
Janet ~ Like I say...Ivalou swallows fine. It is later...When I am with her and I notice she puts her fork down and sits back and doesn't move, then I know she is hurting. If she drinks anything, it makes it hurt 10 times worse she says. It takes total relaxation and some times a burp. Then the food will go on down and she can continue eating. Rice used to be the worse culprit...not everytime but sometimes. Now it is about anything. I am praying she comes home today all fixed!!! :)
Pat ~ I am hoping my liver results will be like yours. Nothing. ::)But they sure are checking. I am so glad that I didn't go with my monthly insurance premium being lower this year. That would have resulted in a large deductible and then 80%-20% after that up to a huge amount. I would already be in the huge amount after spending bunches and still have the premium to pay. I know...you Canadians don't have to pay but I don't want that for Americans either. :-\
June ~ Are you June from SrNet? I welcome you again if you are or aren't!!! :D
Marilyn ~ I have been taking cholesterol lowering drugs for about 13 years and the blood tests have shown no problems. And even this last blood tests show only a point or two above average. But I have always been on the low end of average so that means I have changed a lot. The doctor just wants to verify why!!! ???I am not taking the cholesterol lowering drug right now but I am taking the one that attacks the fat in the stomach...not the liver...called Zetia!!! (I have two cats sleeping with me. I don't mind the sleeping...it is the attacking to my feet prior to the sleeping that I don't like....after Friday, Inky won't have the claws. ;DShe brings blood sometimes!!! :o)
Soni ~ Ivalou isn't like me. If I find something isn't quite right, I go to the doctor then...not wait until it is major. Thank God, nothing major has been wrong with Ivalou. But hers all stems from losing her blood pressure after her hysterectomy when she was 37. We about lost her and she fears the anesthetic. :-[ I can understand her fear but......
Ruth Ann ~ That's what Ivalou thought would happen when she told the doctor about her esophagus...he would prescribe a medication and/or diet. But no! He started filling out a form for her to get an appointment with the Gastrologist. Today is her day. :D
Hi Sarah ~ Some of the schools here had Proms last weekend. Hope yours is eventful and you have a wonderful time. Be careful and be safe. Seems every year at Prom time or graduation, some teenager(s) gets in the obituary around here. :'( :-[ So do be careful!!! :)
Ria ~ I was told by one of my doctors to stop caffeine. I bought decaf. I love my Hawaii flavored coffee but it isn't decaf. This morning my coffee was tasting soooo good. Then I realized I made my coffee with the Hawaiian Chocolate Amaretto coffee. I will be buzzing later.(https://www.christianphotographers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fettasue.homestead.com%2Ffiles%2FAnimations%2FSpinface_Smiley.gif&hash=44ee913917c7116e3484496c82c5b6d31aa4a759)
Soni ~ What a great and renewing devotion this morning. We all need to be reminded of that often. :)
Thanks, ya'll for reading my posts and commenting. Now I know that you do read....and like me, sometimes don't take time to reply to what you read. I am sorry for feeling left out but, hey, it worked!!!

Hi everyone and a special welcome to rtpagj.
Sarah, hope you have a wonderful time at your prom. Nice to see you posting today. Won't be long until school is finished for the year. Are you a senior this year?
Ria, not sure I understood what you were saying about the flooding. Does your home get flooded? I am sure your work at the nursing home is greatly appreciated. I know that sometimes the folks we help can't express that appreciation but I never doubt that they would if they could.
Sonja, another fine devotional this morning and it is good to see the plan of salvation presented from time to time. In our church we do not have an alter call as a part of the service. This last Sunday our pastor at the end of the sermon asked that everyone close their eyes and those seeking Jesus then open their eyes and she would be the only other person with eyes open. There were several acknowledgements that she say open eyes during this time. I grew up in a Diciples of Christ church were we always had an alter call with every service as well as Communion every Sunday.
Sonja, it was very nice of Mike to try to help the old fellow but a good thing that the nurse caught them. In the nursing home where my folks were in Iowa the front doors could be opened but sounded an alarm if you didn't punch in the exit code on a keypad. Also in the special care unit where my Mother was it was a locked unit and you had to get a key to get in or out. I had my own key made from one my sister had so that I didn't have to hunt it up on each visit. It wasn't a matter of keeping people out it was so that those who were often confused wouldn't get lost as the staff couldn't monitor the hall every minute. They also used seat alarms for those who were not to get up and walk by themselves. The caregivers in this unit were very special people and I will never forget them.
Janet, must say I am a bit envious of you being able to attend Abby's program but certainly happy that you can do so. That is a part of my life that I missed as we never lived close to our granddaughter. I think we were able to attend only one school function in which she participated when we happened to be in Kansas City on a visit. We will be looking for a report of the event and hopefully some pictures.
Ruth Ann, drive safely and it looks like you will have wonderful weather in the Atlanta area while you are here.
Marilyn, I know how much you care for your dogs and I must admit if I had a little dog I might allow it to get on the bed with me. We used to have a poodle and he sort of ruled things in our house, sort of like the cat does now.
Ruthie, I know your missionary conference must be something really special. Hope you will be telling us more about it as it progresses.
Nita, we also have a juicer (a Juiceman juicer) and it was a fine appliance. I followed a strictly vegetarian diet for a solid year to try to control my cholesterol and it didn't do a thing to do. I used to buy carrot by the crate and many pounds of apples and other veggies to juice. The juice is delightful but I sure know what you mean about the cleanup. I got very bored with the diet and gave it up after the year and we also stopped juicing. I found buying all that produce also became pretty expensive.
Pat, if you don't get your computer back soon the library staff is going to get to know you pretty well! :D
Pat is going to a luncheon in a few minutes with her quilting group from church. Needless to say there will be no quilting done today!! They are considering disbanding the group and certainly will stop meeting for the summer. They have done this group for several years and the responsibility falls on my wife and one other lady.
I have a clear schedule today and plan to enjoy every minute of it. I want to put some fire ant killer on my yard. I have used the once a year treatment for the last two years and it works very well. Fire ants are a real problem here in the south the their bites are terrible.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day as we enjoy the day that the Lord has made.
Etta Sue, I see we were posting at the same time. I hope Ivalou gets a good report and that the doctor is able to help her.
Good Morning: I was here a little while ago to read the posts then and now I will post.
Ria: I have two dogs Bebe a female American Staffordshire Terrier mix and Happydog a male Border Collie mixture, He is 5 she is 3. You can see them on my website. Their page is Bebe's pet page. I will email you a couple of photos.
Sonja A wonderful salvation message int his morning's devotional. Well Done!!
Janet you have a great time at Abby's program today. Isn't it wonderful to be able tog o to the programs. I am loving being next door to my g-kids and able to go to whatever they are doing.
Etta Sue; I am praying for you and I hope all is well with your liver scan.
Pat we are hoping to see you back up and running, well not you your computer haha. ;D
Larry You are such a busy man I pray that you will have a truly enjoyable relaxing day.
Papa John Helloooooo how are you today!!
TTYL
LARRY we are getting new floors in the home and i will not have carpets or floor covering on there because we have dogs and when it is raining then the floors are wet . But then i can it make clean with a little water.. And there are such a lot synthetic materials to get so we must make a choice. WE HAVE NOW ___NOT HOLD that word was a mistake i think not that a english word is sorry__ BUT A WOODEN FLOOR and we will have synthetic material.
We have not have a thunderstorm but it is being a litle bit colder. Maybe there has been a thunderstorm on an other place. But we not. I am happy i am afraid for thunderstorms
I hope you have understand Larry what i mean

Prayer: Two Conditions Must Be Met
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward
God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His
commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
--1 John 3:21-22
When we go to God with a request that He modify the existing
situation for us, that is, that He answer prayer, there are two
conditions that we must meet: (1) We must pray in the will of God
and (2) we must be on what old-fashioned Christians often call
"praying ground"; that is, we must be living lives pleasing to God.
It is futile to beg God to act contrary to His revealed purposes.
To pray with confidence the petitioner must be certain that his
request falls within the broad will of God for His people.
The second condition is also vitally important. God has not placed
Himself under obligation to honor the requests of worldly, carnal
or disobedient Christians. He hears and answers the prayers only
of those who walk in His way...(1 John 3:21-22; John 15:7)....
The truth is that God always answers the prayer that accords with
His will as revealed in the Scriptures, provided the one who prays
is obedient and trustful. Further than this we dare not go.
Man, the Dwelling Place of God, pp. 86-87
"Lord, in the power of Your Holy Spirit, help me to be obedient
today. May everything I think and do be pleasing in Your sight.
Amen."

Oh, that we might all pray that prayer.
Thanks so much,
Chris. I just think so highly of Dr. Tozer's writing.
Hi Ursula!
Yes, I sure did miss my computer but it's so nice now and so fast!
It really did need reformatting!
Hey, Ursula! How's the picture taking out there in British Columbia! I'd love to see some of them.
You know if you upload to Photo-Sense, Neil doesn't mind you deeplinking from his site so you can do it all on your own and you don't have to send them to me!
I'll talk you through it or Neil will if you upload there. Also, the plus side is that several there will just love to see your photos and they will comment on them.
See you there?
Very important Prayer Request regarding Iain...

Thank YOU Sonja, you are doing great!
Nita!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jane, that's a cute butler that Chris is sending. I've been wanting some things done. Does he do windows? Maybe you could send him over here when you're done, as long as Chris is paying.

We'll be leaving at 1 pm today for a run to Atlanta, returning tomorrow morning.
I pray that you'll have good driving conditions to Atlanta, Ruth Ann. You'll certainly be missed and we'll be waiting for you to return.
Ohh, Soni, what a blessing from today's New Every Morning! Just wonderful...
Quote
How can you experience Christ's love?
- Repent of your sins.
Oh, I'm so glad my computer is now fixed!
Hi Ruth!Have a great time at your prom,
Sarah! Good to see you posting. Come and drop in when you can love!
Oh,
Ria! JESUS LOVES YOU! And make sure you know that sweetie! How's that big toe? I hope it's so much better now.
Just such a lovely poem today,
Ria...LIGHT AND TRUTH
Lord, let me live one day at a time...
my choises determined by Your will,
my path illumined by Your light,
my faith grounded in Your truth,
my heart set on eternity.

I'm a gem, Pat says!
YOU SURE ARE!!! You sure are!

Thanks Marilyn! Yep! Great to be back.
Bea and I have been to the Hospice Thrift shop to look at sofas I bought a pair of pretty pastel plaid set of sheets and a belt for my self. She didn't buy anthing but we did find her a nice hidebed and pretty blue rocking chair. She has to wait until her check comes to buy. I got most of her dishes packed up but still a lot to do.
They told us her place might be ready tomorrow, they were still painting when we were there on Tuesday.
Janey I am not going to make it up there next week, too much to do to get her ready for the move. I am sorry tomiss this trip. I think Al may be well enough to travel very soon. He will have to fill you in on that.
Going to read prayers now sooooo

Hello everyone!! My Bible Study group just left, and I thought I was going to have some time to actually leave a decent post in here, but now my boys are home, and since I haven't seen one of them all day (nard), I think I will go see him.
Hope you aren't offended, or anything!!!
Hello Marilyn. I am here.
Well, I have stopped in to read several times today but haven't really felt like writing. Cornelia has been busy planning a shower for our granddaughter, Robbie, who is going to have a baby toward the end of May or first of June. The shower is Saturday and you would think the Queen was coming for all the hustle and bustle that is going on around here.
I have been shopping for a lawnmower and I bought one today. I had been to Home Depot and to Lowes and also to Sears. Anyway today we bought the one I was considering at Sears. Our old lawn mower is just about worn out. It still runs though and I am giving it to our son-in-law, Martin. It has been a busy day.
Cornelia and I are continuing our reading the Bible through out loud the second year in a row. We are following the same schedule we used last year and we are now in 1 Chronicles. There are a lot of names and genealogies which make it a little heard but we plow through those difficult names and I think it makes us realize that these were real people. They had names. God cared for each one of them
One night this week we read about the prayer of Jabez:
1 Chr 4:9-10
9 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, "I gave birth to him in pain."
10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request.
(NIV)
I hope you all have a good night's rest tonight. ;D

THE BIBLE STANDS (http://www.christianphotographers.com/sounds/biblestn.mid)
(Click title for music)
The Bible stands like a rock undaunted
'Mid the raging storms of time;
Its pages burn with the truth eternal,
And they glow with a light sublime.
Refrain
The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,
It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;
I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,
For the Bible stands.
The Bible stands like a mountain towering
Far above the works of men;
Its truth by none ever was refuted,
And destroy it they never can.
Refrain
The Bible stands and it will forever,
When the world has passed away;
By inspiration it has been given,
All its precepts I will obey.
Refrain
The Bible stands every test we give it,
For its Author is divine;
By grace alone I expect to live it,
And to prove and to make it mine.
Refrain

Hi Everyone.... I am watching the game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Philadelphia Flyers. The score is 2/1 for the Flyers.
GO LEAFS GO GO LEAFS GO GO LEAFS GO
Ruthie
I've been watching it too as I've been trying to get caught up with 3 days of backlog, Ruthie!
GO LEAFS, GO!!!
Well, they lost! Sad! 3 to 1
Yes Pat, the Leafs lost tonight. Apparently the Flyers are all real big guys. Not that size means too much. Remember Gretszky, the Great One! He was a little skinny guy, but boy was he amazing!
Time for bed. God Bless
Love Ruthie

Pat, sorry for not answering sooner, I've been in and out all day again. I think I once looked at Photo-Sense, will look at them again tonight, after I get the dishes done :)
Picture taking in BC is going slow (lots of pictures, not much quality). It takes a while to develop a "feel" for how light works in different places, and to find places where you can take pictures. The landscape around here is quite overwhelming, very beautiful. But it seems to me that the lack of "open spaces" makes it more difficult to figure out how to take pictures (at least landscapes). Even the day to day light, e.g. for closeups of flowers, is different than in other places, more purplish I'd say. There haven't been any sunsets to speak of, and I'm just now finding bodies of water (lakes, still pools in the river, puddles). Bodies of water are so good for photography! I'm also rather frustrated with my camera, it has too much noise (not in macro mode). The noise is particularily noticeables on landscapes, especially when the light isn't terribly bright.
I've been busy "judging" pictures at DigitalPhotoContest (this is my second month), and part of judging there is to restrict participation at other sites (because there's so much cross-over, although probably less from DPChallenge than from other sites). If any of you participate at DigitalPhotoContest, you might consider volunteering for a month of judging - it's a good learning experience.
Talk to you later :)
Ursula
Good evening all! (Or night as it probably is for many.)
Not a lot going on in Western NC tonight, calm, cool, and blooming. The dogwoods are out, the blackberries are starting up, among other pollen distributing plants. Ahhh . . .choo. The sounds of Spring!
Did I happen to mention that Bernard and I are both sick. We are debating whether it is a cold or "just" allergies. In any case, we don't feel so good. 'Tis the season, to be sneezing, I guess.
I think I'm going to turn in early, tonight (like before midnight) so I hope all ya'll have a wonderful weekend!!!
I'm so sorry that you both are sick, Karma. Maybe too much birthday cheer? Did he see his cards on CP? Get well soon!
Karma, sorry to hear that you and your husband are sick. Allergies are such a pain. But dogwood and blackberries, that sounds good.
GET WELL SOON!

Hello Ursula and Pat!
I am heading to bed.
Talk with you all tomorrow.
Sonja
Night Soni! Sleep well.
Well, it's time to lock the door and open a new one for you.
My heart is heavy this evening as I think of our brother Iain. Please join us as we pray together for our precious brother as he goes through this struggle at this time.
Now, here's a link to tomorrow's topic...
