Morning Devotional...My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. Psalm 73:26
The Psalmist had fallen to a level of deep discouragement that perhaps you are feeling today.
He saw
- the prosperity of the wicked (v. 3);
- the pride of the foolish (v. 6),
- the presumption of the ungodly (v. 11).
His focus was off the Lord and on the circumstances of life and his faith was shaken to its very foundation (v. 13).
What was the solution?
"I went in to the sanctuary of God" (v. 17).
Ah, this is the secret.
It is there he sees:
- the end of the unbelievers (v. 18);
- the wonder of God (v. 23);
- his own unworthiness (v. 22).
Dear discouraged Christian, "Draw near to God" (v. 28).
--Charlie Tempest
Lord, some are pressed with worldly care,
and some are tried with sinful doubt;
And some such grievous passions bear
that only Thou canst cast them out.

Wonderful...................Praise God! Thanks Pat!
Another sticky dull day here in Blighty.
Christopher has returned to work and to tell his boss he has another job! He's lost such a lot of weight, still can't swallow solids properly. I made a pint of thick custard to take with his Pot Noodle for lunch and some small Creme Caramel desserts....MORE IMPORTANTLY I HAVE PRAYED HIM INTO THE LORD'S HANDS THIS DAY.
All is well folks and all manner of things shall be well.
VICTORY
is something we have.In Christ Jesus. Not something we have to aim for....................Praise God for it!
I am going to "stand in the promises" today.
Speak later.
Love and blessings,
Jenny.
8.45a.m.
I am back. Have just read the later ones yesterday....
PERSON WHO NEEDS HELP
Don't run away. We all love you. Jesus loves you and has opened this door for you............Please let us help you.............
We have all made mistakes in life. Our Bible says "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God". That's why God sent His Son to die for us. God loves us. He is a LOVING FATHER.
Once I was lost and now I am found and part of Jesus' family....accepted by Him and them.
TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE
All is not lost..............
Please come back and see us.
Love Jenny.
Good morning your all 11.00 AM
Thanks Pat for your devotional this morning.

because then we are sleeping.
Ihave had a good night no pain also not this morning
the electric shoks it was not nice but is helping me.
Thanks God.
I also have read something about home schooling.
We in Holland may not give our children home schooling
It is our duty to send children to school.
On this moment all the schools are started.
A new school year is started.
The children are going when they are 4 years old.
When the children from 4 years are tired they may stay
one day in home.
But when the children are 5 years old then it is our duty
to send our children to school. When we are not doing
that then we are getting an penalty then we can pay.
Judy B please send rain to Holland if you can. We need
rain.
Also WELCOME PERSONWHONEEDSHELP
May be i come back this day
I wish you all a very good day
Bye for now RIA :-*

so am off now to get caught up with all the stuff that needs to be put away and so on.
God bless and have a great day....Paulette.
I will pray for Trish and Jacob wish her all the best
Ria
Jacob, we will certainly be praying for Trisha. So sorry to hear of the seizures and will be praying that the doctors can find the problem and relieve it. I will pray for you and her family as well as these things are very hard on families and loved ones.
Personwhoneedshelp, I welcome you to this site and assure you we will love you. We are here to praise God and to uplift each other.
In some of my devotional reading this morning I came upon the following and marked it so I could share it with all today. It is from Rick Warren's wonderful book called
"The Purpose Filled Life", Chapter 40:
QuoteWhen God's at the center, you worship. When he's not, you worry. Worry is the warning light that God has been shoved to the sideline. The moment you put him back at the cneter, you will have peace again. The Bible says, "A sense of God's wholeness...will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." (Message Bible)
Ria, sure glad to read your words that you had a pain free night and woke up this morning in the same condition.
Paulette, glad you had a nice camping trip and it sounds like your little ones really enjoyed the experience. Camping is something I have never done more than once or twice. I am not an outdoors type person.
Jenny, certainly happy that Christopher was able to return to work. He has had quite a bout. Know he must be looking forward to his new job and that a weight has been lifted from your sholders.
Pat, a very fine devotional today. How did your trip to Hamilton go yesterday? Certainly hope your neighbor got a good report as could detect from your message yesterday that everyone was pretty worried.
Elizabeth, nice to have you back with us. It sounds like you had a nice time visiting your kids for a few days and enjoying the fair.
Beverly, I saw your pictures on the SeniorNet site. Looks like you all had a great trip. I am looking forward to visiting Pat Scott in a few days and hearing all about the Bash. Sounds like its time for you all to take some deep breaths.
Ruthie, vactions are nice but I always was ready to return to work. Hope you escaped the skunk! ;D
Judyb, glad that you are sharing the messages with John's mom. Maybe you can get her interested in the computer and she can join with us.
Jane, you sure have had your hands full with problems. Hope the man works out well to fix up the things you need fixed. We have a group people at our church who identify needs of the members and then have a work party and take care of the problems. They recently painted the home of one of the members who couldn't afford to have it done. I am reading a series of books by Lauraine Snelling called the Red River Valley series about settlers from Norway who settled in North Dakota in the 1880 and how the settlers always helped each other startng with building sod huts to live in. As I grew up on a farm, the neighbors also helped each other with major jobs. In the city we don't see so much of that it seems and that is a shame, although I know that people help each other.
Well, I didn't intend to write a book. Some days I just don't have anything to write and other days can't seem to shut up and this is one of those.
Ruth Ann ~ I find that after I mow the lawn, my back acts up. But I think that is just old age, not Arthur!
Karma ~ I thought of decorating graves but here that is only done on Memorial Day en masse. I forgot about family plots in the south.
Jen ~ I would like to be a mouse at night to see how all 8 of you pile up to sleep. I hope everyone steps gingerly if they have to get up to 'rest'.
Jenny ~ Oh, Jenny, I am not ready for winter. I love the summer weather. But I know winter is on its way when my birthday gets here. I love the fall colors but white I don't care for.
Pat ~ Hello! Are you getting back into the groove yet?
Marilyn ~ Baked beans and potato salad. That is a meal! Love the two.
Jane ~ It is never tiring to hear from you.....just tiring to hear of negative events. But thank God, the check is in the mail and you will get your home spiffied up soon.
Trish ~ It is sooooo goood to see you posting again.
Papa John ~ Sorry to hear you still have some pain but I know that can be ignored at times. God bless you and Cornelia.
Janet ~ Sorting through 'stuff' is tiring, mentally and physically. Mom enjoyed knowing who got what. What she thought was junk, was treasures to us.
Jeanne ~ I know you are glad to get back to part-time work. That must be exhausting when you aren't used to it. It sounds like you do interesting work, though.
Larry ~ You reminded me that I need to do some work on my Webpage. I have lots of photos that I can put on it instead of my Paint Shop Pro lessons.

PERSONWHONEEDSHELP!
JudyB ~ You are another one to remind me that winter is coming and cold weather along with it. Now stop!!!!
Carol ~ Have you tried the microwave and the EggBeaters yet? Not as good as the real thing but when you are hungry.......
Ruthie ~ We haven't had the smell of skunk around here for quite some time but on our trip, I think we smelled one every day. Not an odor I like for sure. Hope your kitties were fine, tho. How many kitties and what colors?
Beverly ~ Uh, you must start posting more and get the 'newbie' word out from under you name on the left.
Liz ~ Yes, September 11th is coming soon. That date will always be a date we will remember.
Ria ~ It is soo good to see you posting early in my morning. I am glad that I can count on it now.
Paulette ~ Glad to see you posting. Camping sounds like fun.
Jacob ~ Thanks for letting us know about Trish. She is certainly in my prayers.
I must rush now after replying to you all. Jerry is still asleep but I am going to get my car maintenance done this morning. Suppose to be there at 9am...but that wasn't written in stone.

Thank you to all who have welcomed me.
Pat- I checked the devotional for the 23rd. It was great. I have been in the "valley" for quite some time. Sometimes I think we are coming out only to discover that we have just crested a little knoll and are not over the rim yet. Yesterday was rough for a number of reasons, but the Lord has been working things out. Today is better. Angela just came to her computer and I suggested she read it too.
3p.m.
Ouch!..........Suppose I'd bettr try logging onto my pals over there again!
Truth is I'm in trouble folks...I'm having a practice session on this New Scanner...Did alright last time but something went wrong with the dreaded Sobig virus and I had to Put the C.D. in again. Now it keeps giving me a pop-up telling me the TBM Hook is Missing! Then it shuts down the "puter" again.
I've checked the Firewall and Spy bot Searched and it's not a virus..
Anyway I am logging on for a laugh..Thanks Etta Sue for your cheerful message. I shall look forward to more of these during the Winter months......
Thanks for letting me have a moan...I did want to send some pics of my grandsons to the site....Oh well more effort Jenny.....I will get there...I will!
Good Job Jesus never gave up when the going got rough!
.....................Still He didn't need a Web site or scanner. We won't when " that which is perfect is come". He can even see into our hearts...Wow!
Off I pop...Shop to visit.
Love, Me again!
Jenny...........the English version.
Great devotional Pat. Thank you so much. The Psalms are so meaningful and so full of "today" if you know what I mean.
Jacob: Please tell Trish we are praying for her, you and the families of both of you. She is a special girl.
I won't address everyone seperately the post would be way too long. but I do want to say hello to Ria, Jenny and Iain over across the pond. Sorry about your weather. Good to hear that chris is back to work and at anew job. Jenny he will gain his weight back as he gets better but I know it is a worry for you.
A day off for me today with class tonight. I got everything done yesterday so today I am relaxing here at home. With gas prices so high in California at this time I can't afford to drive any place that isn't absolutely necessary. $2.35 a gallon. Whew! I feel sorry for those of you in Canada and England where theprices are higher than that.
Well I will go check the prayers and be back later.

We're REALLY so very glad to see you!
QuoteJane ~ It is never tiring to hear from you.....just tiring to hear of negative events.
Sorry, Etta Sue ... I'll refrain in the future. :-[

WELCOME Personwhoneedshelp!!!
We're so glad to see you!
Good morning to all of you! It is 10:45 here in Illinois on a very hot and humid day! Pat: Hi, again, and I'm so glad to see you home safely; I missed you--your devotional today was great! Marilyn, now that you told me what gas prices are there, I won't complaain about ours being $1.79!!!! Ria, good to see you again, and we will be praying for some rain. This list and the people on it are such a blessing to me, and I wish Gods' blessing on all your lives today!
Love in Him,
Cami
Well, Good Morning Jenny! I just can't believe the heat wave you've had over there this year. When I lived in Ireland, I sure never experienced anything like it then. Sorry
Christopher is not well.
I'm happy you have no pain in your back now,
Ria. That's certainly good news. Yes, there's lots on this website. I hope that you'll get brave and explore it more and more. Have you seen Janet's paintings? You can see them
here (http://christianphotographers.com/yabbse/index.php?board=19) by clicking on that link.
Ria, "Home Schooling" is very big in the United States. It's getting that way here in Canada as well but down there they have huge organizations for Home Schoolers to belong to. I have a friend in Ohio who has home-schooled all of her children right through to high school graduation and there's a massive graduation ceremony in the city-centre where this takes place. My daughter did it for six years and her children are now all in the school system standing at the top of their classes.
Hi Paulette! It's so good to see your post. It was such a great feeling to know that Jen was here while I was away looking after Geordie and Lauren. They really loved her too!
I am so sorry to hear about
Trish! I've copied
Jacob's post and put it in our "Have You Prayed About It? area.
QuoteIn some of my devotional reading this morning I came upon the following and marked it so I could share it with all today. It is from Rick Warren's wonderful book called "The Purpose Filled Life", Chapter 40:
What a good quote,
Larry!
You ask about my trip to Hamilton yesterday. Well, it was really sad. Larry and Diane were advised by the doctor that they should travel or do everything that they've always wanted to do while he feels as well as he does as there's nothing more that can be done for him. When his lung cancer was diagnosed, he was given 8 months and that was yesterday! He has a further appointment in November that I'll take him to.
Etta Sue, I'm trying to get back into the groove. I'm still very tired though.
Anne Coughey, I'm so happy to see you posting. That's your first and hopefully, it won't be long till you have over 500 posts showing under your name. I'm so happy that the devotional of the 23rd helped you. Our Iain is not feeling well and is taking a rest right now from our forums to re-charge his batteries! Let's all
remember Iain in prayer as we go about our daily chores.
Still praying for you,
Marilyn. I agree that the Psalms are so wonderful. I read through and thought about the first 12 while I was travelling. I found Al's great notes to be a wonderful help. For those of you who only come into New Every Morning, there's a banquet awaiting you if you'll click on this link...
Songs of Worship (//http://)
Jane, I'm thinking of you especially today and wondering if you've started getting things in order before the winter. We always got our wood in in late August when we heated a huge farmhouse with a wood stove. So good thinking!
JudyB, if you're reading all these posts to John's mum, here's a message for her!
Hello Lena!
I also had an email from
Janice Hudspeth telling me that the mention of "barrel potatoes" brought back to her memory that she had saved an article a few years ago on just this and she sent it to me and it's exactly what I do. I'll look it up for everyone. It's a neat way to grow potatoes if you have a small garden area. Let's pray for Janice too today as she cares for both herself and Earl at this time.
Well its 11:17 am - started about 11 to read everything ! It is so nice to see all the postings this morning!
Love to all, Francy
Hi Cami! I missed your post! I guess you posted it while I was "composing". I'm so happy to read that you found the devotional to be a blessing today. Thanks!
Hi Francy! Nice to see you too! Hope you are keeping well.
I see at the bottom of our main page that the following are online at the moment!
Pat Scott, ajewell, Jane Walker, FrancyLou, Cami Cutler
Great to see you all!
I think that with several of our members "hurting" it might be nice to sing this together...

DOES JESUS CARE? (http://christianphotographers.com/sounds/doesjesuscare.mid)
(Click to hear music)
Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press, and the cares distress
And the way grows weary and long?
Refrain
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?
Refrain
Does Jesus care when I've tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief there is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?
Refrain
Does Jesus care when I've said "goodbye"
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?
Refrain

So good to see you have joined us here on CP. I see by your profile that you are from Guelph, Ontario, does that mean you know our Pat. Come on in a nd join us here, have a cup of tea and some cookies. Tell us about yourself.
Marilyn
I forgot to mention that I go to the Doctor on Thursday. Since this is my first appointment up here I am hoping that I will be able to get a prosthesis for my prolapse condition and not be recommended for major abdominal surgery to correct it. I am not ready for any surgeries or hospital stays, I can't afford not to be working at all.
Thank you for the warm welcome.
Yes, I know Pat. I met Jack and Pat when I moved to Guelph in 1989. I was worshipping with them and was even married by Jack. We fell out of touch, however, for reasons I'm not quite sure of.
Oddly enough, my brother has been spending a lot of time with Jen (Paulette's daughter who was dog-sitting for Pat). So, I've seen Geordie but not Pat yet. We will get together soon, Pat!
I look forward to getting to know you all through this forum. Although I'm not a photographer, I am a believer and eager to have some fellowship with you.
HI ANGELA!!!
Oh, it's so good to see you here.
I think that probably what happened was that we started worshipping in Milton and then in 1994 Jack's condition worsened and and my caregiving days were so long! I miss him, Angela.
I'm just so happy now that our paths have crossed once again and I'm looking forward to seeing your two little girls.
Glad you met Geordie! LOL

Make sure you check your Instant Messages on here to see if someone has sent you one.

Make sure you reply to any IM by clicking on it right here on the forums and reply to it there.
This might be a good time too to empty your INBOX and OUTBOX.

Hello ajewell,
Now I don't feel so lonely. I don't take photos either...only the odd snap...I'm getting in a right mess just now trying to use a Scanner to send a few little pics to friends over the water.
I love this family and I know you will too.
Do pop into Prayers and Psalms. Wonderful!
Pat I loved the Hymn...Dark nights are coming but Jesus is with us. I hope you will give us this one again in the bleak mid-Winter.
Marilyn I will be praying for you re the doctor....
Love you dear Sis.
Love and God Bless to everyone too.
Jenny.
Well, it's good to see each one today. We are having another hot August day with the temperature aroung 90. But here I am in the comfort of air conditioning. I think we are spoiled by the comforts of modern living. I think today about those in England and Holland where it has been so hot and kwhere air conditioning isn't as wide spread as it is here in the southern part of the U.S.
Pat when I read the devotional this morning I thought of a passage which we often refer to here:
Phil 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (KJV)
Regardless of how low we may get or how overwhelmed we may be with the problems around us we can put our trust in God and enjoy his peace because we know He is with us.
- - - Papa John ;D
WELCOME AJEWELL
Pat you have very nice pictures.
Every day i find new things on the site of CP
What nice things can you make Etta Sue.
Now i am going may be i find more nice things
Bye for now

QuotePhil 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (KJV)
Papa John, that is indeed a wonderful verse. I've claimed that verse so very often--especially in the past couple of years. Our God is so faithful.
On the radio this morning, it was told that we are to expect 90° plus today.....first, 90° since July 7 here. HUNH!!! Many days on my trip NORTH were 90°+. I thought I was going to have cooler weather going north but no way.
Also, it isn't too cold to sit outside in the evening. It is the mosquitos that keeps us inside after dark and in the evenings. Noah should have swatted on of them on the Ark!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Jane ~ I didn't mean to say I didn't want you to tell us your problems...just that I am tiring that you are having problems. Get out of the valley, sister!!!
Cami ~ I was just through your town last Thursday on my way home from Canada. If only I'da known it!!!! We could have met for coffee or an ice cream! I am directly east on you. I can see State Road 32 out my front window. I am between Noblesville and Anderson in Indiana.
Thanks you, Ria. But I think I am in need of making some different graphics. I am tiring of these!!
Jerry is having a bad day today. He is so tired. I got the car maintained and Jerry was back to bed when I got home. He had been up...made the bed...but was back on top of the covers with an afghan over him. He got up for lunch and asked if it was okay to go back to sleep. I am praying that this rest will do wonders for him. I don't like to see people ill or hurting.
Thanks Ria... I hope that you'll be able to send some more photos for posting again soon.
I'm sorry about Jerry, Etta Sue! Jack had days like that too after his strokes.

Dear "personwhoneedshelp", please don't feel you can't or shouldn't post here. This is a wonderful place with wonderful people who will be thrilled to help you find your way to the love and forgiveness that Jesus is waiting to give you. We have all of us, at one time or another, been given that wonderful Saving Grace that we were sure we didn't deserve.
But praise His Holy Name, He doesn't require that we deserve it. Only that we seek it and let Him give it to us, free of charge. :D
it's not that I don't want to be here it's just i know some people who are in my church and school who claim to be christians but always have negative attitude about everything they do they use words that i thought christians werent' supposed to use i feel into that crowd and have got myself stuck there and now am debating about everything cuz right now i just don't have time to be constantly posting! the churches i have went to all seem to be telling me I don't belong I go to a branch of the Church of God that is out of Anderson Indiana and if any of ya'll know about that church it's not something you have to be a member of to be considered part of the church. everybody keeps yelling at me and i don't know how much of it i can take and these are just a few of my problems! they go a lot deeper than that but i'll get into those some other time
PWNH
PWNH:
You haven't told us whether you are male or female so I don't know whether to call you brother or Sister.
It sounds to me like you are saying that the people at church are yelling at you, and that is not the way a true christian acts. True christians are supposed to be full of love, helpful and understanding. Not mean, hypocritical, or setting bad examples.
I think you need to look into going to a different church. The Church of God people that I know do not act that way, maybe it is just a few of the people. you didn't say if it was the church people, that was an assumption on my part. Correct me if I am wrong.
Dear one, anyone who is a Christian is considered part of THE CHURCH. The Church is all believers no matter what denomination, as long as they believe in God and that Jesus is the Son of God and was born of a virgin, and is willing to state those beliefs.
Being a Born again Christian doesn't mean that every one who professes to be Christian acts the way they should.
Please don't leave us, you can learn so much from the people here at this site, we have wonderful teachers
men and women of God who will lead you in the right direction and love you just as you are.

Dear PWNH I am glad to see you here again.
Jesus is not a "sin counter" He is a sin "carrier".
He carried your sins and mine all the way to the cross. He opened His arms wide on the cross and said "I Love You".
Churches are for sinners who go there to learn to be good. It is a journey. We are all on this journey and here at C.P. we help one another.
Please come and talk to us. We serve a Great God and He can help you. Marilyn is telling you the Truth.
Jenny.
(Jenny, I just posted your photos. They need a description.)
PWNH, I'm glad you decided to tell us a little about your problems. We'll be praying for you to find a true and loving Christian fellowship, both in a church and in your social/work life.
A SLAVE OF CHRIST
"In the 19th century, a young Christian heard a Bible teacher say, 'The world has yet to see what God can do with a man who is totally surrendered to Him.'
The young Christian said to himself, 'I want to be that man.' That young man was Dwight L. Moody, who became one of the greatest evangelists of all time, long before radio and television.
When the searching eyes of the Lord found Moody, they found a man whose 'availability' far surpassed his 'ability.' But God can do a lot with a little if He has all there is of it.
Moody was born in 1837 in the little town of Northfield, Mass. His father died at an early age of 41, leaving his widow in poverty, with a large mortgage on the home. The creditors grabbed everything they could, including firewood. Mrs. Moody tried to keep her family of nine children not only together, but together in Sunday School.
By the time Dwight was 17, he had become a successful shoe salesman for Holton's Shoe Store. Moody accepted Christ in the back room of the shoe store through the guidance of his Sunday School teacher. Later, he became
actively involved in the Plymouth Congregational Church in Chicago. As a layman, he began renting the church pews and filling them up with men and women whom he had invited.
He went on to become the great evangelist. But he never got away from his simple commitment and the memories of the first time he stood up to speak as a young man, when one of the deacons assured him that, in his opinion, he would serve God best by keeping still. Another critic praised Moody for his zeal but pleaded with him, saying that he should realize his limitations and not attempt to speak in public. 'You make too many mistakes in grammar.'
Moody patiently made reply to the man's concern: 'I know I make mistakes, and I lack many things, but I'm doing the best I can with what I've got.' He then quietly looked at the man and searchingly inquired, 'Look here,
friend, you've got grammar enough. What are you doing with it for the
Master?'
God is looking for people today who will decide to take what they have and totally commit it to be used for the Master.
Perhaps a future Dwight L. Moody is reading this right now."

:-\ I know I do not yet have a grammer enough, But I give my heart to the master. I know he can undarstand me even more than I can at times.

Psalm 23
The Lord's my shepherd, I'll not want;
He makes me down to lie
In pastures green; he leadeth me
The quiet waters by.
My soul he doth restore again,
And me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness,
E'en for his own name's sake.
Yea, though I walk in death's dark vale,
Yet will I fear no ill:
For thou art with me, and thy rod
And staff me comfort still.
My table thou hast furnished
In prsence of my foes;
My head thou dost with oil anoint
And my cup overflows.
Goodness and mercy all my life
Shall surely follow me;
And in God's house for evermore
My dwelling-place shall be. [/size]

It's so good, Trish, to hear from you. We were all rather concerned about you sweetie.
I somehow lost the posting and have to start again. So, thank you Pat for the devotional. I just played the music and sang along. It does much to soothe the soul. Are you the one playing the piano? You seem to be a lady of many talents.
Be strong Jacob. I will also pray for your Trish and am so sorry this has happened.
Thank you Larry for you words of wisdom. Agree that we need to be centred on God in order to have happiness.
I will pray that things go well for you Marilyn. Agree completely with what you said to PHNH. True Christians want to help not hurt. My morning devotional was about that very thing and focused on how a little kindness can make a big difference. There was a little poem at the btm. of the page:
It was only a brief little note,
Or a word that was prayerfully spoken,
Yet not in vain, for it soothed the pain
Of a heart that was nearly broken. -Anon.
Oh Mieka, so happy to see you again and loved the pictures. Hope that you are once again nice and warm.
Papa John, I love the picture of you and your wife and the gentleness seem to just reach out and touch one. Your words are always so true.
We still are badly in need of rain here on the island and the fire hazard is extreme. Days are cooler but not a drop of rain falling. Will trust that it will come soon....Have a nice evening all. God Bless, Liz.
hello hello hello
I think we have our modem problems fixed, but things seem a bit slower. I don't remember if I've posted today or not.
Sorry you had a rough evening Trish. That had to be scary.
Glad to see Jerry posting again.
To PWNH, I guess if we were all honest, we could probably tell you about a time in our life when we felt the same way you did. It is unfortunate (and grieves Christ, no doubt), but I think the deepest pain I have ever had came at the "hands" of other believers. I heard it once said that Christians were the only ones who shot their wounded. It SHOULD NOT be that way, but sometimes we let our own perceptions of our righteousness get in the way of our perceptions of our Holy Father.
HI MIEKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to those that have joined in the past day or two. I am not sure if I am coming or going, and I honestly don't remember if I have welcomed you all or not. We are a pretty cool bunch of people, I think, and I believe you will find some good cyber-fellowship here!
Hi, friends,
It's so good to read messages from and about all of you and to pray for the requests. I love you all.
I'll be working BIG TIME for the next 3 or 4 weeks.
My health is slowly improving and I hope the extra work won't delay my recovery.
I'll post as I have the time - tonight I'm wound up and am having trouble falling asleep. I imagine sleep will come when God wills it.
Y'all have a good evening.
Ruth Ann
It's time to lock the door.
Let's all remember to pray for each other tomorrow.
