'Believe ye that I am able to do this?'
Matthew Chapter 9 Verse 28
God deals with impossibilities. It is never too late for Him to do so, when the impossible is brought to Him, in full faith, by the one in whose life and circumstances the impossible must be accomplished if God is to be glorified.
If in our own life there have been rebellion, unbelief, sin, and disaster, it is never too late for God to deal triumphantly with these tragic facts if brought to Him in full surrender and trust.
It has often been said, and with truth, that Christianity is the only religion that can deal with man's past. God can 'restore unto us the years that the locust hath eaten' Not because of what we are but because of what He is. God forgives and heals and restores. He is 'the God of all grace.' Let us praise Him and trust Him.
'We have a God who delights in impossibilities.' Nothing too hard for Me.
'In waiting, I waited for the Lord.'
Psalm 40 Verse 1
[/b]
Must life be a failure for one compelled to stand still in enforced inaction and see the great throbbing tides of life go by?
No; victory is then to be gotten by standing still, by quiet waiting. It is a thousand times harder to do this than it was in the active days to rush on in the columns of stirring life.
It requires a grander heroism to stand and wait and not lose heart and not lose hope, to submit to the will of God, to give up work and honours to others, to be quiet, confident and rejoicing, while the happy, busy multitude go on and away. It is the grandest life 'having done all, to stand.'

Iain Thankyou Brother. I too have that book. Mrs. Cowman is an encouragement to me also.
PARALYZED
My Bible Diary reading notes for today are Is40:1-11 and Matt 18:12-14., the notes state:-
"Not only did Jesus bring the paralyzed man back to health and happiness but also the forgiveness of his sins.
Noteworthy is the way in which the paralytic had come face to face with Jesus through the top of the roof and letting him down. All these were made possible through the help of his friends.
At times we need to allow our friends and companions to carry us even in the most unconventional ways through people and events.
Let us cast out our fears that paralyze our capacity for healing and wholeness."
:) :)
Some of us have a problem "accepting" help. We are so bound up in "giving" that "receiving" seems somehow wrong for a Christian. I was told many years ago that I had to learn to "receive" not to be always "giving out".......I realise more now what that meant. You can give and give until you are empty and dried up.
Our Heavenly Father has so much to "give" us and He wants us to share our gifts with one-another and to receive from one another, knowing that "every gift and every perfect gift is from above, from the Father of lights in whom is no variation or shadow of turning".
Dear Ones, perhaps God is saying to you today."Peace Be still". If He is then let your brethren carry you, allow them to use their gifts, while He that is Mighty continues His work of Grace towards you.
Amen!

Thanks so much Liz & Pinkie for those stories yesterday! My feelings were exactly like those of Lee - as the years roll by I am more and more deeply touched by such things. I think that, as time goes on we're getting closer and closer to the time we shall be with Christ, and His goodness impresses us that much more.

HI PAT!!! I missed you!!! :-* :-* (((hug)))
How are you feeling?!
What touching Christmas stories! Love them. I agree. Perhaps we can start a topic of Christmas stories.
Soni ~ Waiting for your report from the doctor. Also, hope your loved ones are on the mend.
Pat ~ Hey, what's happened to ya? We can't have our host ailing? Sure hope those peepers clear up soon and certainly I am praying that it is God telling you...'Hey, sister! Slow down! You are doing too much!!!'
Not much going on today but also a bunch going on today! I have posted the pictures of the Victorian Dinner and I can tell by my emails that a lot of people have visited CP. Just pray they grab the hook since they have been baited.
I am getting my car greased and oiled this afternoon. Then Jerry is driving his car to a shop to get brakes fixed. We are going to Greenfield and meet with our small group at church to deliver some items to a needy family. Then we will be going to Pastor Mark's home for snack and to see his decorations....well, her decorations. Deborah LOVES Christmas!!! Hi everyone. Iain, thanks for doing the devotional this morning and Sonja for putting in the links. I am sure it is comforting to Pat to know that we all are willing to step in and help out when she needs some help. Pat, sure hope you are seeing better this morning.
Welcome Billie and Jules.
Today is our annual Christmas Luncheon at the local senior center. We always have a great meal and a good time. After the luncheon, I will go on to Calvin Cove and play for and sing with the folks Christmas songs and hymns.
We are having a beautiful and bit warmer day here.
Hi Folks...
I haven't read back through the posts yet and might not till a little later but I just want to thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts. It's certainly scary when something happens to your eyesight.
I guess it was again a "silent migraine" like I experienced before several months ago. I went to bed and just lay there quietly and did a lot of praying for you all. I couldn't read as I couldn't focus on any words. I could see photos and pictures but not words.
I'm a lot better this morning but my head is aching but it's certainly not as much pain and discomfort that some folks live with each day.
Sonja, I've been so wondering about you and your results. Judy McKenna was writing you for me to find out. She hasn't got back to me yet with the news. Is there any?
I'll go and get a cup of coffee and come back.
Good morning Etta Sue! Have fun in Greenfield. It is great that you are helping the needy. That always makes a person feel good to help others.
Larry~Sounds like you have a fun day ahead of you. Lunch, music, singing with others. What fun. Have a good day!
Good Morning to you all. Thank you Iain and Jenny for your devotional thoughts this morning and to you Soni for the links you have posted. I have put the first in my favorites.
Today I go to Arcata to Bea's house, I have laundry to do there, trash to take out and the apartment to clean. Then I will stop at K-mart on the way home to get a few more things for Christmas and Dog food. I will try to get those photos posted sometime this afternoon or evening.
I see Sarah, Etta Sue and Pat have been here while I was typing this post.
Pat how are you today? Are you going to see your eye Doctor today?
Soni: please let us know your results as soon as you get them. I am praying for your kids.
TTYL
PAT! I'm so happy to see you here this morning! Many prayers have been going up before the throne for you! I do hope your headache goes away, and you feel totally restored VERy SOON. ((((hugs))))
Now, I will go back and read today's posts. We have blowing snow here today, with a nice drift across our door and driveway. I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere today. But Friday, I have to take Beth to Dodge City, so she can catch her flight out Saturday morning at ........ugh.............5:30 AM.
WHAT WORRIES YOU, MASTERS YOU.
Good morning, Marilyn and Janet! Snow eww......
Laundry even more eewwww.... ;) ;D

I wrote her back this morning. I was busy all day and couldn't get back to her. I will get the results today hopefully! ::) If not my hubby is going to be pretty upset. >:(
Glad you are doing better, Pat! Please take it easy today.
Love you,
Soni
Sonja, what a jewel you are! Thank you so much for helping Pat out by putting in the links today! You must have a "Misistry of Helps"......anyway, you are much loved and appreciated! ((((hugs))))
Iain and Jenny, big thank yous to you both, as well. I enjoyed the thoughts you posted today.
Just a quick good morning. So nice to see Pat posting, and Sonja...sometimes when the doctor doesn't feel the need to get right back to you....it can be good news. I'm praying that's so.
I was supposed to be on my way to Portland right now, taking Kim back to the eye doctor for her 6 week check up. She was feeilng puny last night, and called me this morning, feeling awful. I'm praying it's a cold and not the beginning of the flu. She didn't get her flu shot, and doesn't take vitamins. Kids!
Jane...if you come in.....I was thinking....(there she goes again) maybe today we could drive around and take some pictures of our town. I'll call you after I have a cup of coffee, and see what you think. It IS pretty dreary out there, so not sure what they'll turn out to be.
Devotional was great, Iain.
Now, I'm off to have a cup of coffee and reading in The Purpose Driven Life......then on to Oswald Chambers, along with the Bible. God is so, soooo good to me. Sometimes it feels like He's given me a new heart, again...... how I love Him.
Pat.. take it easy, ok?

Trials and Pain: It Works!
...Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that
the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in
infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in
distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
--2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Ten thousand enemies cannot stop a Christian, cannot even slow him
down, if he meets them in an attitude of complete trust in God. They
will become to him like the atmosphere that resists the airplane,
but which because the plane's designer knew how to take advantage of
that resistance, actually lifts the plane aloft and holds it there
for a journey of 2,000 miles. What would have been an enemy to the
plane becomes a helpful servant to aid it on its way....
If this should seem like a bit of theorizing, remember that always
the greatest Christians have come out of hard times and tough
situations. Tribulations actually worked for their spiritual
perfection in that they taught them to trust not in themselves but
in the Lord who raised the dead. They learned that the enemy could
not block their progress unless they surrendered to the urgings of
the flesh and began to complain. And slowly, they learned to stop
complaining and start praising. It is that simple--and it works!
We Travel an Appointed Way, 32-33.
"Lord, I wish I could more readily 'stop complaining and start
praising.' I pray for Your grace to work within me that I might
allow the trials to lift me aloft rather than press me down. I'll
do it in Your strength today. Amen."
Etta Sue, how exciting that we may be getting new members on CP because of your posting your photos of the lovely dinner. Bless you!
Nita and Jane---do have a lovely day blessing the Lord together and taking photos (if you go out.)
Karma, are you feeling better? I pray so!

Oh, Janet! You're getting photos ready to post? Yippee! I can hardly wait!
Thanks for sharing that, Chris. I meant to tell you before... Pastor Tozer was the pastor of a very large church in Toronto. We as a family went to hear him a few times over the years. It was sad when he died.
Yes, Etta Sue, it's wonderful that we might have some folks come here from your church! Great job, girl!
Oh, gotta get a refill in my cup.
Karma has been to the eye doctor this morning...
He says there's nothing wrong with her eyes (20/20 and 20/15, no glaucoma, etc), and that if the headaches continue to see her family doctor.
I hope that's good. I'm going to put her on a computer time restriction of about 2 hours a day and make her go to bed before midnight until this clears up, but she really doesn't know that yet :o :o
TTYL!
Thanks for the report, Nards. Anything to do with the eyes is certainly scary. I think I'd be seeing the family doctor as well.
Good man Nards...

Thank you Iain for that great devotional.
I have missed being on CP. My computer has given me so much trouble. Kevin, my son (you all remember him with the funny face) fixed it, but when I hooked everything up the keyboard wouldn't work. I am now typing on an old keyboard.
Pat, I am praying for you, asking God to heal your eyes and that you will feel His Touch today in your life. God Bless.
Will post again tonight.
Love Ruthie ;)
Oh, it's so good to see you posting, Ruthie! I'm glad that your old keyboard works. It was so nice speaking with you on the phone a little while ago.

Thanks for the great devotional Iain. You are such a blessing to everyone at CP.
I recently finished a story by a Christian author: 'Not A Sparrow Falls.' There was a line that has really stayed in my mind. An elderly grandmother told her repenting grandchild, "Don't make no difference what you have done. YOU CAN'T OUTSIN THE CROSS."
Thanks for the links Sonja. You and your family will remain in my daily prayers.
Nita, I sometimes feel like what you said, "Like God has given me a new heart...again."
So glad that you are back Pat. I pray for you each day and hope that you will listen all those folks saying, SLOW DOWN PAT.
Must go and get ready to see a Specialist this morning. They want to take a look inside with a Scope...Talk about invasion of privacy. Not worried as the new medicine is helping and its simply a tempest in a teapot..or some such nonsense!
Good luck Nards....! Can you put a lock on the computer???
God Bless.
Well Nards, if she leaves you half dead, you will still be half alive.
Think positively lol. ;)

Iain.............
Thank you for your time and love to all.
Yesterday, I called Mary Shackelford at the hospital and she's in pretty bad shape. She told me she was afraid (She's dying from cancer). I asked her if she was strong enough to listen to a story. She said she was, and I told her the following.
"When my brother Bob died in 1985, pastor John MacArthur conducted the services and told us a story of what happens to a Christian when he dies. There was a man and his wife who lived in the woods with their very young son. The father had to go to town and the boy asked if he could go with him. Now what father wouldn't want his son to accompany him on a journey to town? It had been raining heavily and the river was swollen, and the wind was blowing heavily. They dressed for the weather and then walked through the woods until they got to the river. The storm was far greater than the father had thought, and the river was lashing at the ridges of the banks. It was running so strong it had knocked the bridge down and the only thing left were the pilings. Knowing he had to take care of business in town, the father took his son by the hand and they very carefully stepped from one piling to the other with the water licking their heels, untill they had crossed the river. Arriving safely in town, the father conducted his business but it took longer than expected. It was dark by the time they started toward the woods, and as they worked their way into the darkness the little boy began to cry. His father asked him why he was crying and the boy said: "Daddy, the bridge was destroyed by the river and now that it's dark and we won't be able to cross and we'll fall into the river." His father reached down, cuddling his son in his arms and soon the boy went to sleep. When the boy awoke he was in his own room, the sun was shining through the door, and his father was standing in the doorway watching over him. That is how it will be for us. When we die, our father will be there to protect us, He will hold us close to Him, we'll go to sleep, and we'll awake in our own room, with our Father watching over us."
Mary's voice brightened, there was joy in her heart, and she said that that was what she wanted to hear. She then said she wasn't afraid anymore. Our God is so good.
The wise and diligent traveler watches his every step, and always has his eyes upon the part of the road directly in front of him. But he does not turn constantly backward to count every step, and to examine every track. He would lose time in going forward.

You're a good man Lee.
Lee, that was a beautiful story!
Nards, I'm praying for you! ;)

Do you have any coloring books? You should get them out and color with your mom. It should bring back memories for you two and maybe get in a few laughs. I do that with my 14 year old still. He loves it.
Hope your throat feels better!

I talked to the Nurse at the doctors office just a minute ago. The hospital in Rapid City are faxing the results to their office as I type. The nurse said the doctor will look at them and then he will call me.
As soon as I hear the news I will post it. Thanks again for all your prayers.
Sonja
Thanks for the News Flash, Sonja. I pray that the results will be ones that you'll be happy with.
ATTENTION JERRY!! I am going to post some photos especially for you, so be sure to look at them. I will call them "What kind of car is this?"
Waiting for that good report, Sonja! :-*
Hello every one: :)
Thanks Iain and Jenny
I enjoyed both devotionals today. It is always nice to read those posted here as well as my private worship time spent with the Father.
Pat: It is so good to see you back so soon, I am hoping you continue to improve. :)
Chris: You are faster than a cat on wheels. Pat no sooner had the hymn "I am going to see the King" posted and you had the music. Wow! ;D ;D
Lee: That was a great story and I know it gives comfort to those that know they have only a short time left here. It is also a good story for all of us, for we do not know when the "night cometh" for any of us.
Thank you for posting it. :)
Sonja: I hope you get good news from your Doctor. You remind me of my Oldest Daughter with your posting abilities and your sense of humor. Now you know what I think of you, because I love My Daughter. ;D ;D
Thanks Boots... It's good to be back.
Sonja, we learned that little song in Belfast. Whenever we went to Belfast, we went into the city a couple of nights a week to meetings at the Crescent Church by Deryk Bingham and he taught it to us. We sang it most nights at the meetings.
Boots Hello Brother. I just popped in for a few minutes. It's bedtime for me over in England. 10.30 p.m. although if this night is anything like the last I shall be sitting in the lounge by the fire as its icy cold and sleep eludes me. I came down at 3 a.m. this morning, made tea and toast to warm myself up and little Sunday dog came too, of course. I actually spend the time praying quietly and I do think of you all at such times.
I tested the waters again on my scooter this afternoon but I got no farther than the post box..oh dear, try again another day. It's far too cold for me.
Pat Praying for you dear sister. Hope you have a good sleep tonight and feel properly rested in the morning. "Do as I say, not as I do".......Not so, I really have cut down on my "puter" time. I had a horrendous couple of days recently with my eyes and head. Better now, I listened to my body, yes I did. Pat take note!
I am going to say Goodnight now dear ones,
God Bless,
Sleep tight.
Jenny X :-*
Soon and very soon ... We used to sing that song a LOT as I was growing up in church. I haven't heard it for a while. Thanks, PAT and CHRIS! ;)
SONJA~I'm joining the group in the "waiting" room for your test results. :P
It's raining this afternoon, so looks like Nita and I will be staying indoors after all. Maybe tomorrow? Or the next day? Or.... :P
JANET~Can I look at those photos, too? Huh? Can I? Purty pleeeze? :P
Nard's not home from work, yet, so that is why I am able to be on the 'puter!! I promise to try and post as much as possible, but you heard what he said! (Like I'm gonna listen to him) hahah
OK, I was going to post a corny poem, but it was just too much. hahaha

Take care all, I will try to be back later, Lord willing and Bernard doesn't look!

But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
The fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we're still goodbying
But as long as you love me so
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Sonja - Belfast is in Ireland, right next to breakfast.
HAHAHA! Good answer, Al!
Sonja, Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland (which is a different country from Ireland!) LOL Whenever we were over for a visit, we always tried to attend the Young People's meetings at the Crescent where Deryk Bingham was preaching. They were so good.

Stupid Fix
===========
Below is an actual e-mail from my brother, James, the computer
engineer. He has provided me with countless hours of major help
and technical support with MountainWings.
Tonight, he was having problems getting his organizer to
synchronize with his desktop computer. We both have one of
those high tech organizers with a phone, pager, organizer, web
browser, e-mail and other stuff all built in. He couldn't get
it to transfer data to his desktop computer, something that he
had been doing for months.
"It just stopped working," he said.
I asked him various questions and he said of course he'd checked
that. I asked him if he checked the USB cord.
"Of course," he said.
You must be fairly computer literate to understand and
appreciate this, but if you are, you will get the meaning.
Below is his e-mail to me:
-----------------------------------------------
Subject: Stupid Fix
It's been awhile since I've had one of these, but this was one
of those fixes where you are just ashamed to mention.
After rebooting 40 times and installing new patches and software
and uninstalling and reinstalling them. I had checked to make
sure that USB cord was in good and had moved it to different
slots on the hub.
I finally realized that the whole USB hub was unplugged!
My printer and mouse were plugged straight into the USB ports on
the computer, so even though I had four other devices plugged in
to the USB hub I wasn't using them and the green lights
were all on.
You told me it sounded like a USB problem, next time just tell
me it sounds like a USB hub problem!
-----------------------------------------------
Life is often like that. The solution to our seemingly
unsolvable and super complicated problem is really very simple.
We just can't see the answer - a basic connection is unplugged.
We aren't stupid, we are looking for far more complicated
solutions.
1. "I'm sorry."
2. "I love you."
3. "Forgive me."
4. "You were right."
5. "Maybe mama was right."
6. "I'll just let it go."
7. "It's not really that important."
8. "It's just ego, I'm acting like a baby."
9. "Let me just calm down."
10."Let me look at it from their point of view."
These are ten things that may help us see a simple solution to
what has been looking like an overly complicated problem.
We are often not connecting and the fix is simple, but we have
to do the plugging up.
It's not a stupid fix, anything that fixes something isn't
stupid.
Overlooking an unplugged connection, that's an oversight.
Refusing to make a needed connection, now that's stupid.
Check your connections.

My the time flies. I have been busy preparing for Christmas. There are Sunday School conserts, and Learning about the Jewish celebration.
We sold our last puppy last night. That is a big relief. We are now down to 3 dogs and John is talking about reducing the animal population more. I hope not.
The girls are enjoying AWANA so very much. This Monday is a concert there too.
Sunday there is a dedication at church that I am looking forward to.
I was looking for the prayer post about the lady that was pregnant and had medical problems. I must be blind too. Anyway she has had her baby this morning at about 5 so now they can deal with the medical problems. God is good.
Praise report. We have had unexpected bills come in, and to the penny God has supplied the funds.
Anyway Have to go,
Love to all
Judy
Sonya
God is sooooo good!!!
Wonderful I am so pleased for you.
You go girl!!!!!
LOL... When I first started to read your first post above, Judy, I wondered who your brother, "James" was!
Good article!
Sonja..........
Answered prayer Sonja, answered prayer.
Al............
Did you hear the big laugh coming from your neighboring state? ;D ;D ;D
Just stopped in for a minute and read Sonja's great news. So pleased and yes, God is wonderful!
What a lovely story Lee. Thanks so much. I told Al yesterday how he will soon close his eyes and simply go to sleep...then he will be home. That is a comforting thought for all of us.
This has been a pleasant day without rain. So glad, as Wendy came this afternoon to take home the Christmas baking and presents. I am always concerned about the highway when it is raining.
God Bless and have a pleasant evening.
Liz, I'm constantly thinking of you and Al and how his homecalling is coming soon. God bless you as you minister to him in the coming days.
Is it far from your house to Wendy's?
WooHoo Soni's doctor found nothing in her head. Oops I mean the MRI showed there isn't anything wrong in her head. God is so Good, God is so good, God is so good He's so good to Soni.

I am so Jazzed!
I don't know whether to cry :'( or laugh ;D.
I will be back later! Thanks for sharing the joy with me.

Judy, we've been deleting many, many topics that had no activity for over 4 weeks as the data base was getting full. If that topic is no longer there, please feel free to start another one. That's what others are doing. So many topics were deleted that poor Marilyn lost many, many posts in her "OVER 2500" total! ;D :o :'(
Terrific news that the baby is alright. It will be good to now deal with the mother's medical problems.

Which reminds me too...if you delete photos from your webspace that are displayed or were displayed on our CP site, please let one of the Moderators know so that that topic can now be deleted so no broken links are visible.
I'm so happy to see Sonja's wonderful news. God is so wonderful!
And I'm also very happy to see Pat posting and that her eyes seem to be doing their job again. Thank You Lord!
A full day of work again today and tonight I'm very tired - especially since I couldn't fall asleep last night until after 3:00 and was up at 5:30. So it will be an early night tonight, I think.
Liz, I'm in the middle of Not a Sparrow Falls and love it.
Let's see... what else...
Oh, goodness yes! Thanks you Iain for the devotion this morning (even though it's evening before I get to see it).
Still cold and damp, no melting snow yet. But it's supposed to get near 50 with rain sometime tomorrow. They're warning people with flat roofs to get the snow cleared off. I don't know what kind of idiot builds with a flat roof around here, but unfortunately some do. Some people just have to learn the hard way. ;D
I'm wiping tears of thanksgiving at Sonja's news. And it's SO wonderful to see Pat back in operation again. Today's the first time my son has had to cancel an activity because of headaches. And, both my daughter and I had a headache as well. So, something must be "contagious!"
Well, I worked 12 hours today and need to eat dinner, but just HAD to rejoice a bit before I sign off for the evening.
I love all of y'all.
Ruth Ann
Sonja: What wonderful news ! What a relief for you and the family.
Lee: Your story to the friend in hospital is so touching and just perfect. You are so kind.
Pat: Good news for you too - a migraine. Our daughter has had two episodes like yours and that is what happened - a migraine.
Blessings to all tonight. Carol
So nice to "hear" from you, Ruth Ann! I pray your headache goes away quickly! ((hugs))
Hey, folks! If you don't have a web page and would like to learn how to get one started, check this out. We'll try to help in any way we can.
Phew! Now I know what makes the pages get so much wider. Instead my posting of the URL for the new area, go to "Information and Classes for Members" and click on "Making Your Own Web Page"
Well!!! I'm going to have to go look for my post, now! :-\
In the meantime ... here's a little poem my daughter just sent me:
'T'was the night before Christmas
and all through the town
Not a sign of Baby Jesus
was anywhere to be found.
The people were all busy
with Christmas time chores
Like decorating, and baking,
and shopping in stores.
No one sang "Away in a manger,
no crib for a bed".
Instead, they sang of Santa
dressed-up in bright red.
Mama watched Martha Stewart,
Papa drank beer from a tap.
As hour upon hour
the presents they'd wrap
When what from the T.V.
did they suddenly hear?
'Cept an ad.. which told
of a big sale at Sears.
So away to the mall
they all flew like a flash...
Buying things on credit...
and others with cash!
And, as they made their way home
From their trip to the mall,
Did they think about Jesus?
Oh, no... not at all.
Their lives were so busy
with their Christmas time things
No time to remember
Christ Jesus, the King.
There were presents to wrap
and cookies to bake.
How could they stop and remember
who died for their sake?
To pray to the Savior...
they had no time to stop.
Because they needed more time
to "Shop til they dropped!"
On Wal-mart! On K-mart!
On Target! On Penney's!
On Hallmark! On Zales!
A quick lunch at Denny's
From the big stores downtown
to the stores at the mall
They would dash away, dash away,
and visit them all!
And up on the roof,
there arose such a clatter
As grandpa hung icicle lights
up on his brand new step lad der.
He hung lights that would flash.
He hung lights that would twirl.
Yet, he never once prayed to Jesus...
Light of the World.
Christ's eyes... how they twinkle!
Christ's Spirit... how merry!
Christ's love... how enormous!
All our burdens... He'll carry!
So instead of being busy,
overworked, and uptight
Let's put Christ back in
Christmas and enjoy
some good nights!
Merry Christmas, my friends!
Okay ... I found it! ;D Just wanted to say .... the MRI showed nothing in my head, either! Er, uh, I mean there were no problems found! :-[

Sarah
Sarah, glad you're feeling better! Can't have the star basketball player out sick and missing games! Don't overdo it too quickly now, get well first! :)
Hey, there Sarah! Slow down! ;D Give yourself a chance to mend completely or you may get a relapse that will be worse than the first go-round.
Jane! Great news from you, too! Praise His Name!!!
Lee.....thank you for that story about when we die. I know Jesus will be reaching out his hand to us and will say "take my hand, I'm taking you home"
Great to be on CP again.
God Bless
Ruthie
And great to have you back, Ruthie! :D :D
Wooohooo...
Jane that is wonderful news!
Well .... Thankee, thankee, thankee! :-[
Hi Ruthie! I am also glad you are back on even if you do have an old keyboard. Got any Xmas photos to show us. ;D
Hi everyone......this has been a most wonderful day....hasn't it? The news of Sonja made me laugh and cry and thank Jesus over and over. Isn't He so good to us??? :D :D :D
No pictures of Coos Bay tonight. It rained most of the day, and I was sort of cold, so didn't get out after all. I took Angel, grandaughter, to her youth group tonight and had my camera with me....just in case, but it was just too wet. Jane and I ARE going to get Coos Bay on the CP map before the deadline. Right, Bestest? Maybe tomorrow??
Jeanne Lee....I want to learn to do a webpage. I'm trying out a new ISP and they give a small (10 mgs) of space, but you have to be able to use an ftp program and I don't know how. They won't let you use Frontpage either. Has to be HTML and graphics. So.........here comes our Jeanne Lee just in time. I'll see you there...
Hey there, Bestest! Now I know why I didn't "see" you online ... you're using your new ISP. :P
I knew you'd want to take a look at Jeanne's new class... Have fun!
By the way, check your email at your "old" address, okay?
Sonja......So good to hear the great news about your test results....God is a Good God!
I know what you mean about all the fun during dinner time with the family. I went to the restaurant on Sunday for some December birthdays. I was so happy and proud to be with all my children and spouses and grandchildren. Later we went to my daughter Bonnies' for dessert. I have a joker son Kevin who makes everyone laugh and my other son Danny laughs so much at his brother, his stomach hurts. My other son Shawn trys to imitate Kevin. We just have a great time.
God Bless
Ruthie
Ruthie, I would love to have dinner with your family. I bet Kevin is a hoot. LOL...I remember the picture he posted. hahhaha... Kids are a blast!
QuoteAl............
Did you hear the big laugh coming from your neighboring state?
Of course I heard it Lee - it was so
loud!
Thank you Sonja and Janet... It is good to be back. I am just praying that there will be no more computer problems for a while.
Yes, my Kevin just seems to have a natural gift to be funny. He can hear an accent and impersonate someone to a tee.
Well I think I will go to bed now. Have to be up early.
God bless.
Ruthie ;)
WooHoo Janes MRI came back clean too
[/b][/color]
