Morning Devotional...

Then saith He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold My hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing.
John 20:27

Thomas was not there on resurrection evening.

But note how the Lord kindly answered his bold statements of unbelief! The progression is so gracious.

Ruthie, I see you online, so just wanted to say that when Passion comes to our town, one of the large churches is buying out the theater( for one night), and discounted tickets can then be purchased for all who want to attend.

I know I do, and am telling everyone.  I just learned about the discounted night to see it.  My daughter's church is doing that.

I did hear from her also, and she from her pastor, that the whole movie is done in the original language and subtitles.  Have you heard that?

Ria,

I am so sorry to read about your father.  It is sad when our loved ones' health is declining.  My parents both died when they were kind of young..daddy with his heart on his 66th birthday and mama with colon cancer when she was 68.  We lived with my mother-in-law and she passed away in her 90's.  The last 1 1/2 years she was in a nursing home, but before that we were able to take care of her at home for several years as she was bedridden.  My 4 children enjoyed being with her all those years as they were growing up...but it was hard on them when her health was declining.  I will be praying for you and your family.  Maybe by springtime your father will be able to get about better.

in His love,   kathy :-*

               The Fight of Faith

God Bless our native land;
May His Almighty hand
Protect our shore;
May peace her power extend,
May foe be turned to friend,
The Nations' might depend
On war no more.

May just and equal laws
Uphold the people's cause,
And sin confound;
Home of the brave and free,
While thus we pray for thee,
May all men brothers be
The wide world round."

Wm. Edward Hickson
.

I had intended to copy out another hymn but the Lord showed me otherwise.
Britain's Prince Charles is in Iran at this time., Also talks are being held with Mr. Blair and the Libyan leaders with a view to a meeting with  Colonel Mu'ammar Qadhafi  soon. Hard bread for many to swallow, especially in America., understandably however. Echoes for some here of Lockerbie. I gather also from radio broadcasts in England, that U.S. elections are taking place and our American cousins have some big decisions to make. The above words seem to be a prayer for us all at this time.  I say one loud "Amen" to it.

Ria, it is always good to see you here every day.  It won't be long now until you will have those beautiful Holland Tulips.  When we lived in Brussels we would go up to Holland to see the tulips in the spring.

Jenny, thank you for the Hymn.  I especially like the lines:

"May all men brothers be
The wide world round."

Sarah, it is good to see you as you get ready to go off to school.

Nita, I have mixed feelings about going to see the movie Passion.  I want to see it but I am a little squeamish.  It hurts me to see anyone suffer.  I think though that I will see it.

Num 6:24-26
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

Yes, Jenny this is an election year.  I am dreading November (when the elections are held).

I had also heard that "The Passion fo the Christ" was in the original language.   At one point, there wasn't going to be subtitles (or at least that is what I had heard), but htey added them later.

Hi Sarah!!  I hope you have the most wonderfullest day at school EVER!  How is the EMT stuff going?

Hi Soni and Karma,

Just popping in while "Stinger" checks to see that Mydoom isn't on here.

A.O.L. has just issued a warning that a new attachment variation on Mydoom is on the way. If the Mydoom is already on your "puter" watch out for the big crash!

I downloaded the free Stinger from McAfee sometime ago. I just tap it in when I need a check and if the thing gets here...wow! Sting, sting!  Hope not though! 2,5555  files are showing clean!  Great!

McAfee Firewall is doing it's job well also. No I am not on a commission from McAfee!

Bye for now.

Hi everyone.  We're back as of last evening.  Didn't have much time to post yesterday, and won't have much today either - until later.  The trip went very well.  Got to see our oldest son Sunday evening, as he lives in Sacramento.  He came to hear me Sunday evening.  More later.

Hi everyone.  Shortly we will head up to our senior center for our monthly luncheon.  Pat is making a chicken casserole for us to take to share and it is smelling good.  I rescheduled my day at Calvin Cove to Thursday so I won't be rushed and we can stay and help with the cleanup for a change.

Found out late yesterday afternoon that 2 or the 3 catalyic converters on my car that my daughter uses have to be replaced in order to pass inspection.  There are three of these on this car but apparently it is the two less expensive ones that have to be replaced although it will still be over $400 in repair.  This is on top of the $800 in car repairs and new tires we spent last month.  Hope this isn't going to be an every month occurrence as it is becoming wearisome.

Al, glad to see you are home safe and sound and that you had a good trip.

Jenny, I think the virus problems on computers will be a constant problem.  I heard our consumer advocate person on the radio this morning talking about new popup that are being used that create stelth programs on our computer and then it causes the computer to dial up offshore locations and you see huge charges on your telephone bill.  So many dishonest people in this world.  Such a shame.

Ria, does your dad use a walker to help steady himself?

Time for us to leave.

I don't know about MyDoom, but I have had a very strange thing happen.

This morning when I came to my computer, my Hallmark Cards program was open.  Also I was ONLINE!  Ok....so just even IF, for some reason, I forgot to get offline last night (I went to bed at 11) I definately wasn't using the Hallmark program (which has lots of my addresses).  What ever could do this?  From now on I'm shutting the computer down totally at night!  I'm the only one here, so no one else did this.

Then I decided to run Spybot, and for the first time ever it gave me the "congragulations.  You're free of spyware."  Usually it shows all my cookies too, and I have to sift through them to see what I want to keep.  Strange.

But......THIS IS A GLORIOUS DAY!  We are expecting sunshine for the rest of the week.  It was cold yesterday, but sunny.  More flowers popping out of their little bonnets and showing off for the appreciative onlookers.

Have a blessed day, everyone.  I guess, for good measure, I'll run a virus check on this computer now.

Papa John.  I understand about not wanting to see people suffer.  And especially our Jesus, who did this for us.

There are times though when I believe my heart needs to be broken again.....so that I can love Him with a new awareness of what He did for me.  If this film does that, makes us really see anew what He did for us, then wouldn't it move the church, those in and those coming, to love and serve Him more?  Who would do this for us but Jesus?  Who could love us more?  I pray that this truth will strike deeply into the heart of every watcher.  The cross was ugly, painful and so common.  There was suffering that most have never encountered.  Yet the God of all creation, coming to humankind as one of them, hung there in common form, bleeding common blood, salty human tears mixed with sweat and blood.......and physical agony that God could never have felt. And then, oh, the greater agony as God's son separated from the Glory of the Father where He had always been. When I think He did this for me.....so He could identify with me and reach me and love me and save me so that I'd never know this kind of suffering, I can only fall down and worship.   All we can give is ourselves.  Just me.  Just you.  He's already done everything else.

 Jesus, how we adore You.

February 10 - JEWELS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon His name. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him" (Malachi 3:16-17).

This precious promise occurs at the end of the Old Testament, a time of wholesale apostasy on the part of the people of Israel. But there was a believing remnant. Today, Christians again are in a minority (as always), and it does us well to study the former situations, paying attention to the nature of the remnant as well as God's response to them.

Notice first the attitude of these believers toward God. We see that they "feared" God when they "thought upon His name." Who could help but do the same as the work and character of God are pondered? Further, a proper attitude and walk with God leads to true fellowship. They "spake often one to another." Too often it seems that mere friendship replaces true Christian fellowship as entertainment of guests replaces
true hospitality. Human relationships can never attain the fullness possible unless they center around the Lord.

Next, note God's response to the dear saints in our text. He hearkens and hears, evidently paying special attention to the attitudes ("feared the Lord") and the words ("spake") of the saints. Then He registers their history in a special "book of remembrance." We will all give an account one day, but we may be assured that the good will be remembered, for it is in God's special book of remembrance.

Likewise, we are assured of salvation: "They shall be mine," He says. We will be "spared" while others are being judged. The mighty Lord of hosts holds us as dear to Him as "jewels." JDM

Just a quick hi and then I am going back to see what messages I missed on the weekend.

Papa John, you remind me of myself.

I wanted to see Passions so badly(even want to get the
video for my mom and aunt to enjoy) but something
happens to me on Good Friday services--the pain is so hard for me to bear--just thinking how I was part of the pain of our Heavenly Father on the cross --is so painful.

Then dear, Nita, posted a great post for all of us to read and I realize her words struck home--she is so right.
Time for all believers to feel the pain again of HIS suffering; to know the One who gave such unconditional love for us.

Now we can go on in trust and faith that HE will be there for us every step of the way.

WOW--now you can see why I love HIM so!!!!.

Take care,

Love in Christ,
Joyce

Wow, awesome words.  I appreciate this.  We do need to fall every now and again so we can see the Lord more clearly.  I know I go through my days sometimes and forget how much Jesus and God has done for us.  Falls give us a wake up call.

Pat ~ Opening a new window works.  But I never had to do that with the old pc.  I can only have 2 windows open automatically IF I don't open a NEW one.  It closes the oldest one otherwise.

Zachary ~ Hi there!  Glad to see you got your computer up and running again.
You bring sunshine to the forum!!!

Larry ~ Your church has a great website.  But I was thinking of 'hearing' the sermon.  I think our Senior pastor has his sermon pretty well word for word...but the Youth pastor...I don't know.  I feel he does a lot of ad libbing!!! Jerry said he is trying out your Avant.  Will see what he has to say about it.  Uh, Larry.  Someone mispelled 'Sermon' on the left on your church's website.  Edit:  I downloaded Avant.  Looks real good!!!

Ruthie ~ Paul Harvey is supporting 'The Passion of the Christ'.  So is Rush Limbaugh.

Nita ~ I have read that the movie is in Aramaic and Greek with sub-titles in English or whatever.  I have also heard that the acting is so great that you don't have to read the sub-titles to know what is happening.  Our church has leased the local theater at least for two showings @ $4 each.  That's a deal!  I hope it is out on VHS and DVD soon because I, for one, will purchase both even though I don't have a DVD player!!!

Troy ~ Great to see you posting, also.  Glad to see you guys back on here.

The sun is shining.  The solar heat is working right now.  Maybe that will let my furnace rest today.  31° F right now!

Hi Marilyn,  I saw that I missed your birthday while I was gone.

Hope you had an enjoyable one.

My hair use to be long--1/2 way down my back ; after I was told that I had to have back to back surgery about 1-1/2 years ago; I cut it real short.

Folks said I looked younger; I thought I looked like a boy.

Ruthie, those dizzy spells are not very good--only had a few in my lifetime but they are miserable when they last.  Hope you are feeling better.

JudyB--I love you "push" post --copied it and emailing to family and friends.  Thanks for sharing.

Janet, I will be heading to the photos now--must see what everyone is talking about.

Mullet/Zach --a quick Hi and let us know how you are doing-- get to ride in the new vehicle yet?

Sarah, you are a dear to remember us with postings when your school work keeps you so busy.

How is dear Trish?  Any one heard how she is feeling.

Heading to photos.

See you later,

Love in Christ,
Joyce

The McAfee site gives info on all the viruses.

The New one is called Doomjuice and on its own its not much trouble. Seems the damage is done if your puter already has MyDoom hidden away, waiting in one of your files!!!...to put put it simply. That's why running the free "Stinger" is a good idea. It will get rid of MyDoom if its there.

This pair of Mydoom and Doomjuice are more than serious.  Pat did give a warning out a week ago.

My SpyBot also shows me "congratulations" at present Nita.  Perhaps because AdAware is also doing its job! Another brilliant piece of Freeware, as per advise of Patrick Kolla at SpyBot.

The Holy Spirit: The Text Plus the Holy Spirit

So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people,
and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their
mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain.
--Ezekiel 33:31

When you are trying to find out the condition of a church, do not
just inquire whether it is evangelical. Ask whether it is an
evangelical rationalistic church that says, "The text is enough,"
or whether it is a church that believes that the text plus the
Holy Spirit is enough....

I would rather be part of a small group with inner knowledge than
part of a vast group with only intellectual knowledge. In that
great day of Christ's coming, all that will matter is whether or
not I have been inwardly illuminated, inwardly regenerated,
inwardly purified.  Faith Beyond Reason, 30,32.

"I too, Lord, 'would rather be part of a small group with inner
knowledge than part of a vast group with only intellectual
knowledge.' Fill us with Your Spirit and Your presence today.
Amen."

Etta Sue, thanks so much for seeing that typo and right there on the church homepage.  Since I do all the work on it and made the little gif it certainly was my oversight.  I don't know how many times I looked at that page without seeing the problem.  Glad you have sharp eyes and the problem has been corrected.

You could prepare mp3 files of the sermons in your church and link them on your church webpage.  However, the files would be pretty large and use a lot of your webspace.  I am meeting tomorrow evening with a young man in our church who has prepared video tapes regarding our church and he is going to put together a 2 or 3 minute video that we can use on our website.  He does a very professional job.  From the video of the Vivaldi "Gloria" our choir did with orchestra at Christmas he has also made a CD and gave a copy to the choir members.  One of these days I will record it on the computer and convert one or two of the pieces into mp3s and put them on my webspace and link them to share with you all.

Nita, that would be frightening especially if you know you hadn't been using that program.  Do you use a firewall with your computer?

Joyce, I look forward to seeing your photos.

T-bone, great times on your swimming.

Mullet, thanks for the info and sorry you didn't get to do your paper route in the new vehicle but there will be lots of time for doing that.

Marilyn, glad that you like the Avant browser.  Etta Sue one of the nice things about it is when you close it you can save the windows you have open and it will reopen them when you start the browser again.  I also really like the groups ability to open all windows of a group at one time.

We had a delightful luncheon at the senior center and then Pat and I came home and took a nap, in fact, she is still taking a nap.  It is a cloudy and gloomy day but little rain so far and it isn't too cold today.

Why should I feel discouraged?
Why should the shadows come?
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Chorus:
I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

"Let not your heart be troubled," His tender words I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears
Tho' by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Chorus:
I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Chorus:
I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

Since Pat has been away today I thought I would select a hymn that we could sing.  "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" is a hymn I remember hearing Ethel Waters sing as I was growing up.  Please note that there are two arrangements of the hymn.  You get one arrangement when you click on the title and another when you click on the "Piano Accompaniment".

Hi Larry,

I so enjoy your postings here and on SN--you are one busy person.

I, too, am anxious to see if I can post my photos.

After reading Jenny's post, I can only say "WOW, I am glad that my son is close by to tell me how to use this computer.
Maybe when I retire ; I will learn more and more about using all of the "bells and whistles" to make this thing work better.

Right now I will let my son guide me or I would get "brain overload" with too much info.

I was so pleasd to see Janet's photos.

I was also pleased to see Lee posting there.  I am glad that
he is well.

Glad you are back, Al, your postings were missed.

Kathy, you mentioned going to Myrtle Beach; when I visited my daughter in North Carolina ; I didn't have to much time to spend visiting all over.  She says that she is about 2 hrs away from Myrtle Beach and I will think about heading that way in July.

I love my home in Penna. with the stream running through the back yard; the sound of the rushing water on the way to the lake about one house away is so very soothing.--Peaceful now; you should see the deer just slowly going to the waters to drink of the water and just rest.

I could hear the good LORD ' s voice calming me down as I walk the path.  That will be my choice to retire to when I decide to stop working....Then in the winter time; I could visit my daughter in North Carolina and go to the shore.

Glad to see you, Zach--love your fish. Talented guy. How's your swimming coming along???

Chris and Margit, your postings are so inspirational --thanks for sharing.

Take care,

Love in Christ,
Joyce

Jenny I have my Spybot program set to run everytime I start up the computer, So it takes a little longer to get started but well worth the wait to know that there are no problems I also have the stinger that I can run anythime.

Larry I really like that I can shut down my internet connection and when  get back on  the browser opens to right where I left off. I haven't learned much about it yet but am "discovering" new things constantly. I also like the way it put all my favorites in Alphabetical order.

10.p.m.U.K.

I received a tap on the window one evening last week.  My son was at home.  I went to the door and didn't open it.  A voice called out "I will make you an offer for your home, it's up to you if you accept it"...This was quite frightening. The gentleman said his name a Mr. Khan. and then went next door.  He was an Asian and my neighbours are Moslems.  They are always asking about this house.... We live 'peacefully' side by side but there are many of them and two of us...It is difficult. It was especially difficult during the Iraq conflict and I have learned not to mention America or Israel. I have dear friends in both these countries. When I mention Jesus or Heavenly Father, they disappear...St. Paul said "In season or out of Season"...

I share this because I want you to know how hard it it to be a Christian in this little corner..,I believe it's going to get harder. I try to maintain my faith against the odds and despite being unable to get to church as much as I used to do, the Sacraments are brought to me in my own home.I have dear brethren from local churches also who visit and we share together.

This evening I was singing "Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord" at the top of my voice. So that His Name would ring through the entry right over the other sounds from next door.  I am so proud of Jesus. He died for me!

A radio program broadcast tonight that in this city of Birmingham Moslem extremists are recruiting suicide bombers...no shortage of takers.  The British Government is failing to arrest Omar Bhakri the instigator, although a local Moslem lawyer says he is guilty of sedition.

"Jesus is Lord. Jesus is Lord.
Oh Yes Jesus is Lord, Jesus Christ is Lord".

He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings.,

Churches are closing in this land and more Mosques are being built...Christians have a building not made with human hands. Praise God!....

God Bless You all.
Jenny.

Hi Nita,   I didn't hear that The Passion was done in the original language and dubbed in English.   That would be interesting, but hope it is in English.   I know that Billy Graham saw it.  Probably a preview.  He said he had many tears!   Also James Dobson,  is recommending it.    I am planning on going on Feb 25th.  The more people who go, the bigger impact it will have on Hollywood, as they see we are interested in stories about the truth.

God Bless

QuoteFrom Pat
Give me your finger. Surely you can trust Him with a finger.

Give me your hand. A little more trust.

Give me your heart--be not faithless, but believing.

I am on a walk of faith.  It is so easy to trust God with "some" things like my family and other's prayer requests.  To trust him with other things in my life, finances specifically it is very hard.  I always feel I have to DO something.  In this walk God is telling me to just trust Him and WAIT.  Oh how hard that is.  To trust and wait.  Does anyone else have this problem?

I have had a busy day and tonight will be busy too. So I am off here and may try to stop in later.

Hi Everyone!

Just in about 15 minutes ago!  What a long day but I'm now the proud owner of a bridge in my mouth!  HAhAHA!

I've just been reading the last page here and that's so scary, Jenny!  I'd be scared if someone knocked at my door at that time of night!

Great song to sing!  I think I heard you all the way over here!

But first got to let Geordie in.

Enjoy your massage, Marilyn.  I'd love one right now!

Greetings Everyone!!!

Nothing much happening here in the northern part of New York.  Gene had a transport this morning, I went to the library this afternoon (found I had already read two of the books I got), a friend stopped by for about an hour, we watched Joyce Meyer and John Hagee that we had taped earlier and that's about it.  Not very exciting but we're too old for exciting anyway.   ;D

I actually had time enough to post this morning, but discovered my server was down, so.........had to wait until tonight.  Four pages is pretty good, huh?  But, Mullet says six or seven would be better, so.......ok!

Zachery, your little church and what you say about church being fun is really good, and I hope you will always feel that way!  I also like the fish!

Jenny, yes, we are in an election year, and most of us do NOT look forward to the dirty way that politics or the process goes now.  So many negative ads, and outright lies.  If only people understood that you cannot believe a tenth of what the liberal media spouts, it would be much better.  I liked the poem you posted this morning.  What a scary thing, to have that guy at your door!  The Muslems are proliferating all over the world, and I don't consider that a good thing.  They need salvation just as everyone ever born, and many are being won to the Lord, but the workers have a difficult time in evangelizing them.  God bless, Jenny, and keep you safe!

I am tired, had a long and frustrating day today painting.  It happens sometimes; tomorrow will be better.

Troy, your times sound really good to me!  I love the water, have never been a really strong nor fast swimmer, but I have now spent 209 hours 42 minutes underwater!  ;D

Welcome to our newest member with all the letters for your name! ;)

Larry, you do stay busy and we love your posts.

Papa John, greetings to you and Cornelia today!

Hi Etta Sue!  I can't believe I have a DVD player and you don't!  (Because you have a TiVo(?) and I don't even know what that is!) ::)

Yes, Ria, what you described is what we call a walker.  It gives so much more stability than a cane.  It does sound as if your father may have had a little stroke, but he can regain his mobility if he keeps trying.  I pray he gets stronger each day, I know it is hard to see him this way.  Watching my daughter get worse and worse is very heartbreaking, so I do understand.  (((hugs)))

Hi Sonja!  What are you up to tonight?

Pat, you will have to take photos soon to show us your brand new smile!!!  I will be so happy for you when this is all finished.

Hi, Joyce!  You Penna. place sounds just heavenly!

Nita, what a moving post you wrote today.  Yes, we do need to be reminded of what Jesus suffered in our place.  I fully intend to go see the Passion at the first opportunity.

I'm beat!  See you tomorrow, I hope.

OOPS!!!  Mustn't forget to say howdy to Marilyn.  HOWDY, MARILYN!

Tonight I'm really thankful. The last load was removed from Leslie's house last evening. So, he's having dinner with a friend who also had the gastric bypass. And, I've enjoyed my ham sandwich and an evening of quiet rest.

And, the computer has cooperated and given me the entire evening here to read at CP without any screen refreshes!!!

I love all of y'all. (You do know, of course, that "all of y'all" is said loudly with arms outstretched to hug you in one big, huge group hug.

Y'all have a good evening.

Hi to all.  Have not been on the computer much the past few days.  Now more or less caught  up on the postings.

Jenny, what a dreadful experience and not something easily forgotten.  I will pray for you each day and trust God to watch over your home.

My curiosity has been aroused and I am going to look into the Avant browser.  Sounds interesting.

Read in the paper that some churches are considering doing away with Sunday services and having them at a more convenient time for people during the week!!  That folks are too tired after working all week and want to rest on Sunday.....What next????

Love reading your posts Ria.  They are so interesting.  Also like that light on your little church Zachary.  Neat.
So many good things to read, see and listen to.  Have been feeling sort of blue and the music is a real blessing.  I have to go for an eye exam tomorrow and so hope there will be a bright and sunny day.  That should help to chase away the winter blahs...

God Bless and pleasant dreams all.  Liz

I guess I should add another post if we are to reach 5-6 pages tonight. I did enjoy my massage. It was a deep tissue massage, not one of those relaxing type that you are all so familiar with. Deep Tissue massage  can be unfomfortable, but for me iit was one of those kind that "hurt so good" . Not  a lot of pain just enough to release the tension in the muscles (tissue).

Pat Can't wait to see your new smile.!!

Hi Jenny,   I have been warned about the MyDoom virus at work, but I believe the anti-virus protection is working to keep it away.  I'm not sure which one I have.   All I know is Pat set it up for me and it runs through the computer every so often.

I guess the movie "The Passion of Christ" will not be over in England.   I am trying to go the end of February because it will be like casting a vote for the movie and Hollywood will realise how important this movie is.   Apparently Mel Gibson has put $50 million of his own money into the movie.

Pat, thank you.  I will Sing of the Mercies of the Lord forever is a favourite of mine.  Short and very easy to remember!

QuoteNum 6:24-26
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Papa John, thank you for that verse.  Today was an emotionally difficult one for me as it was the 7th anniversary of my husband's death.

QuoteFound out late yesterday afternoon that 2 or the 3 catalyic converters on my car that my daughter uses have to be replaced in order to pass inspection.  There are three of these on this car but apparently it is the two less expensive ones that have to be replaced although it will still be over $400 in repair.  This is on top of the $800 in car repairs and new tires we spent last month.  Hope this isn't going to be an every month occurrence as it is becoming wearisome.
Larry, Just think....you'll have a new car by the time all the repairs are done.   ;D

Zachary, I too like your message in your signature!

And now, time for bed.

Hi Etta Sue,   yes I heard that Paul Harvey supported "The Passion" movie.   I was at EE tonight and the head of EE Canada read a long letter about how he felt when he saw it.  I think it will impact many Christian's lives.  Maybe they will get on fire for God and talk more to non-Christians about God's wonderful grace.

Tonight my team went door to door and when we were just about ready to go back to the church, the people at the next door said yes they would like us to come back next week and talk to them about spiritual things.     Praise God
