Janet: Hello, Friends!  Let's get this going again!  I miss  hearing from all of you! 2025-01-23, 19:26:16

Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Morning Devotional...

As He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy...Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
1 Peter 1:15-16

When our Lord taught His disciples to pray, He said, "When ye pray say, Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed by Thy name."

Even in this basic Christian activity, there was an immediate reminder of the holiness of the Father.

We need to keep this in our thoughts--God is holy.

As believers we are called by the One who is holy and therefore we are called unto holiness.

It is a privilege that we have been given; it is a duty we must fulfill.
--Reg. L. Jordan

Holy as Thou, O Lord, is none!
Thy holiness we own;
A drop of that unbounded sea is ours,
a drop derived from Thee.
And when Thy purity we share,
Thy only glory we declare;
And, humbled into nothing,
own holy and pure is God alone.

Zachery

Not sure if you all read this.  So I thought I would post it again.

This was fun Zachery.  I missed you tonight, but I also had fun at dance.  ;D

Nite all.

I'm off to bed folks.  Glad you enjoyed dance soni.  I did an exercise dvd today that had "coordinated movements" in it.  It wasn't dance, really, just exercise moving to a tempo.  It's a really good thing I didn't dream of being a dancer!

<karmat, which means "she with no rhythm" is off to bed now.>

8 a.m. England.

Good Morning on this nice, crisp sunny morning. Praise God!

Ria Thinking of you and praying for you for all to go well re your operation today.  See you soon  ;)

Yes Pat, We must always remember Our God is a "Holy" God. He made us for His Glory, not the other way around.

"I beseach you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service...
For I say through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think himself too highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one of us a measure of faith.

For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,
so we being many, are one Body in Christ and individually members of one another.
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them......."

Romans 12:1-6 abrgd.NKJV.

God Bless.
Jenny.

Marilyn,

I just got through reading yesterday's posts and found your response to the "pillow-talks", thought if I post under "yesterday", you are less likely to see this...

I had a buckwheat pillow in the US and paid $25.00 for it then, wondered what they would go for now and in search for it, on Google, I found this site.

Bedding Bed Pillows

http://www.ihomedeals.com/Bedding/Bedding-Bed-Pillows.shtml

Am not familiar with E-Bay, but maybe some of you are and can advise whether or not it would be worth bidding for a pillow of choice. What a price!

Am a bit out of context here with all of this, hope you forgive me and maybe we all can aid Marilyn, or anyone else, in getting a good night's rest.  A pillow can make a difference. :D

God bless.

I'm here, just busy.

Judy, when is Bonesy going to be in our area?  Today, tomorrow, or when?  Sadly, I don't have any free time at all until maybe Sunday afternoon, and I'm sure he'll be long gone by then.
I survived open heart surgery.... :)

Good Morning Everyone,

I was in a rush this morning, when my daughter Jane called me upstairs.  I walked into her room a little annoyed at be called.  "Listen to the radio Papa" she said, Amazing Love was playing.  we sat together listening to the beautiful words.  It was a moment that I shared with Jane that I will never forget.

God blisses us in many different ways, and I am thankful for this blissing

Scott, what a wonderful moment.  You will cherish that for as long as you live.  Never forget it.

Is this the song?

Amazing Love
(Click to hear music)

My Lord what love is this?
That paid so dearly
That I, the guilty one, may go free.

Chorus:
Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He paid, and my death He died
That I, might live.
That I, might live.

And so, they watched Him die
Despised and rejected
But oh, the blood He shed, flowed for me.

And now, this love of Christ
Will flow, like rivers
Come wash, your guilt away,
And live again.

OR this one?

At least we'll have some joyous singing in here today!

And Can it Be That I Should Gain[/u]
(Click to hear music]

Suddenly there was a great earthquake,
so that the foundations of the prison were shaken;
and immediately all the doors were opened
and everyone's chains were loosed.
Acts 19:26

Words: Charles Wesley, Psalms and Hymns, 1738.
Music: "Sagina," Thomas Campbell, 1835

And can it be that I should gain
An interest in the Savior's blood!
Died He for me who caused His pain!
For me who Him to death pursued?
Amazing love! How can it be,
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?
Amazing love! How can it be,
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

'Tis mystery all: th'Immortal dies!
Who can explore His strange design?
In vain the firstborn seraph tries
To sound the depths of love divine.
'Tis mercy all! Let earth adore;
Let angel minds inquire no more.
'Tis mercy all! Let earth adore;
Let angel minds inquire no more.

He left His Father's throne above
(so free, so infinite His grace!),
Emptied Himself of all but love,
And bled for Adam's helpless race.
'Tis mercy all, immense and free,
For O my God, it found out me!
'Tis mercy all, immense and free,
For O my God, it found out me!

Long my imprisoned spirit lay,
Fast bound in sin and nature's night;
Thine eye diffused a quickening ray;
I woke, the dungeon flamed with light;
My chains fell off, my heart was free,
I rose, went forth, and followed Thee.
My chains fell off, my heart was free,
I rose, went forth, and followed Thee.

No condemnation now I dread;
Jesus, and all in Him, is mine;
Alive in Him, my living Head,
And clothed in righteousness divine,
Bold I approach th'eternal throne,
And claim the crown, through Christ my own.
Bold I approach th'eternal throne,
And claim the crown, through Christ my own.

Hi everyone.  I am also thinking of Ria today and hope the pain is not too bad.

Frazier, that is indeed a memorable moment and the substance of a great memory for the years ahead.

JudyB, wish I could share some of our good weather with you today.  We are suppose to get to 63 today and the sun is shining brightly.  Yesterday was also a beautiful day.

Mullet, sorry I didn't get to your voting link until just now so wasn't able to participate.  Glad you were able to sleep last night.

Margit, I think I need to look into that pillow.  I have had a sore neck for weeks now.  I do have a contour pillow but don't think it is the best but it does support my neck.  I don't think I had ever heard of a buckwheat pillow before.

Karma, I have a couple of exercise video's, one of them done by Richard Simmons for older folks.  It has been a long time since I used them.

Sonja, it sounds like you have a wonderful time in your dance activities.  Will we be seeing some pictures of the new costumes and you in the wig?

Pat, thanks for the devotional thought today.

Ruthie, it sounds like your EE team is doing wonderful work for the Lord.

Guess I had better get busy and get some things done here as was gone all day yesterday.

Janet

Here is a smile for you!

ONE DAY after a nasty streak of bad weather, I asked my teenage son to take our dog out for a long walk after school. When I came home from work, I found my son stretched out on the recliner. He had leash in hand, while the dog trotted happily away on the treadmill!
