Morning Devotional...
What do you want from Jesus Christ? When you pray "Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven," do you mean it? You might say, "What a preposterous question! Of course I mean it!" But do you? Do you want His kingdom to come? If so, then what you mean is that you want Him to rule (be King) more and more in your life. It's a prayer you should pray, and it's a prayer you should mean. And when you say, "on earth as it is in heaven," you're requesting that He might rule in your life at every moment and at all times - because that's way His rule really is. Do you love Him? Do you want His kingly rule in your life today? Then pray for it
today.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me, I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o'er my being absolute sway!
Fill with Thy Spirit 'till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me.

Sorry, Marilyn, for bringing the door right down on your head!
That's ok Al I slipped under the before you got me.
Good Morning to one and all. I do hope you go over to the Prayer Forum and pray for my Brother-in-law.
Thank you Ruth Ann and Al for being the moderators of Prayer and Praise. It is a wonderful place to put all our praise reports and prayer requests. I love going there and praying for those requests. Sometimes I miss them if they are posted here, I am probably reading the posts here too fast and forget to pray for the requests posted here. But in Prayers and Praise I can take my time and pray for each one as I read through them. Thanks again Al and Ruth Ann.
Presidents Day today I guess we are remembering all the dead presidents with all the governments offices being closed. However some of us still have to go to work.

Hi all! It's monday, and a rainy cold one at that. Not a lot on the agenda today. I would like to get some stuff done, though. (You know, laundry, that kind of thing).
I'm gonna go do some stuff for work now (if I had done my substitute plans before I left work, I would be having to do this now!!) I am the queen of procrastinators. IF they ever get around to crowning me.
Karma, that's so cute.."IF they ever get around to crowning me!" Ha ha.
I'm ready to tear into my day, had my hour of exercise and swimming. Guess I should go find some fuel to run on first, though. :)
I just read this: What do you get if you cross a dog with a daisy?
Answer: A Collie-Flower! ;D
See you later.
Good morning all.
I think I'll get an early start on spring cleaning this year. Anyone want to stop by and help me out? ??? :o ;D
Spring cleaning. I've heard of that. . . . :)
Cleaning is not one of strong points. Maybe someone else will pitch in. (Then they can come to NC and help me!!!!)
WELCOME JIMWALL2!!!!![/color]
I'll come help you if you'll come here first and help me!
I am going to have the poll up for 1 more day for the photoshop challenge.
Here is the link. Please vote.
I don't even care if you vote for me. I just want this challenge to be noticed.

There was so much snow dumped on Toronto and all the way to Guelph that there are cars in the ditch and all over.
I hope it clears up by tomorrow because I have to see my eye doctor tomorrow morning then Wednesday off to work again.
When the doctor says "the xray showed calcifications around the aeorta arch" and then she says "come down and we will discuss your cholestral!" Does that sound right? The cholestral is seen in the blood with a blood test. These calcifications sound like calcium deposits that showed up on an xray. What does anybody think. I will see the doctor in a day or two but it sounds strange to me.
Thank you God bless
Love Ruthie

It is a fun challenge.

Al, funny! The cat and myself in that picture neither one goes out at night!! When I think of putting the cat out at night, I think of the Flintstones cartoon. Fred always put the cat out before going to bed and suddenly finds himself out and the cat in. Oh, well.
I am on my way to get the car maintenance today and then eat out with Jerry. I won't be on here much .... maybe tomorrow a little but maybe not at all after that.... until I return from Florida.
(I copied the above from yesterday's NEM)
Well, my car is sporting new brakes and new tires on the front. I think they saw me coming in the door. First they said brakes and new tires....meaning front, back, all around. So I raised a little ruckus about everything being needed and less than 40,000 miles on the car. So I only got half took with two tires and brakes replaced on the front. ;) But it does drive a lot better and I feel more secure in stopping.
Also, Jerry and I got a surprise that his daughter, two grandsons and daughter's boy friend came to see him today. What a treat. I was glad to see them even if it was only for a short time because I had to get home and get some laundry done for my trip.(*)*(*)*(*)*(*)*(*)*(*)*(*)*(*)*(*)*(*)*(*)*(*)*(*)*)(*)

A good evening all: especially to our queen....Queen Karmat!...and her assistant , cleaner Jim., and his asistant Rev Al!
well, enough of that silliness., I'd better get serious here!
Good thinking, Marilyn - its best to put our requests on the Prayer and Praise forum...not on NEM.
Etta Sue: What part of Florida are you visiting? Nice that Jerry could visit with some of his family. Will he be able to see his family from Italy anytime soon? I'd like to see another photo of that little grandson.
Ruthie: I hope your medical tests give you good results. Please let us know.
Oh yes, Ruthie, btw - congratulations on your up-coming wedding!

Hi, friends,
A breakthrough on my pain. I heard the news that they're going to allow sales of the arthritis medications again. So, I took 1 pill each night Friday, Saturday, and last night. The results are phenomenal. I was even able to cook food to take to the church bring-in dinner. First in months!
Called the doctor today and he agreed that in my instance it's necessary. Prescribed 2 a day (am and pm), but suggested only taking the morning one if the pain is out of control.
Thank you, God! Thank you!
Ruth Ann
I think I voted - if not, will someone please direct me to the proper site?
Ruth Ann
Thank you Judy.
Love Ruthie
Well, I messed up and people are already posting in tomorrow's NEM, so might as well lock up for the night. I will let the cat sleep in the garage. ;) Etta Sue, I can see that Flintstones cartoon as clear as anything, and hear Fred yelling "Willllllmaaa!"
