Morning Devotional...
You Hold the Keys
"I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them...they are fallen under my feet."
(Psalm 18:37-38)
If you've been standing around wringing your hands and worrying about what the devil is doing, it's time you made a switch. It's time you put that devil under your feet!
Jesus has already given you all the power and authority you need to do it. He's given you the keys of the kingdom. He's promised you that whatever you declare locked on earth is locked in heaven and whatever you declare unlocked on earth is unlocked in the heavenlies (Matt. 16:19). That means you can speak the Word and bind wicked spirits. You can speak the Word and loose the angelic forces of God to work in your behalf.
What's more, you've been given the power of attorney that enables you to use the mighty Name of Jesus. A Name that's above every other name. A Name which will cause every knee to bow--in heaven, in earth, and under the earth! (Phil. 2:9-10).
So don't waste time worrying about the devil. Take authority over him. Bind the evil spirits that try to destroy your home, your church, and your nation. Loose God's Word in the earth and enforce it with the Name of Jesus.
You hold the keys. Learn to use them and before long the devil will be wringing his hands worrying about you!
Scripture Study: Matthew 16:13-27
Janet this devotinal is so right on to what we have been doing in our Sunday school class for the last 6 months. Thank you. I am going to send it to my Sunday school teacher.
Thank you Janet! :coffee:

God has spoken to me through scripture, devotions and my daily readings today. It seems some days, I read and I don't comprehend what I read. Today, the words spoke volumes to me. Thank you, one and all, for sharing His Word with me. Thank you, God, for your Word.
Well, yesterday was a fantastic day. The plumber came. He will be calling me with an estimate in a few days...an estimate for with and without the submerged sump pump. He suggested cementing over the drain in the basement. If that is done, then I don't need the submerged sump pump. The only time I need to run the sump pump is when the ground is saturated outside and then the water comes in from the fields.
Then the washer man came and put on a new pump and found a clog between the washer and the drain spout...in the hose. I have done two loads of laundry and I do believe it is spinning dryer than it even has spun. So I will be saving electric in my dryer!
Then I called the Tire place and they had two tires like the ones I bought last year and I got two new tires on the front of my car. Now I am ready for Florida!!!
I even visited Kitty on my way home from Pendleton. She made a quilt for a new granddaughter due March 31 out of her Mommy's wedding dress. So cute. Darling.
Can you believe 1/6th of 2006 is gone?? ??
Today....zilch, nada, zero, nothing.../\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

As the Deer Panteth for the Water (http://www.christianphotographers.com/sounds/asthedeer.mid)

Written by Martin Nystrom
Psalm 42:1
"As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God."
As the deer panteth for the water,
So my soul longs after you.
You alone are my hearts desire,
And I long to worship You.
Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship You.
I want you more than gold or silver,
Only You can satisfy.
You alone are the real joy giver
And the apple of my eye.
Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship You.
You're my friend and You're my brother,
Even though you are a King.
I love You more than any other
So much more than anything.
Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship You.

Thanks Janet!
Give our love too to Beth when you see her? Tell her to put her pin on our map! :)
Hi Ritz...
I was checking out your blog. How interesting. We should have a listing somewhere on here for everyone with a blog.

Nope, no blog. At least, not yet - maybe someday. :-\
Still very cold here. It went to 20F below last night and today's only supposed to be around 20 above. Add some pretty brisk breezes... Tomorrow's expected tob e around 30, though, so things are looking up. And tomorrow is March 1! That means only about 5 or 6 weeks until we can count on real spring weather. (Can't count on the groundhog around here!)

These are not best quality photos, but they give a good idea of London sights and sounds,
if you haven't been there before you will now have some idea, if you have been, well, nostalgia!

The Holy Spirit: A Bottle in the Ocean
..To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be
filled with all the fullness of God.
--Ephesians 3:19
Pentecost means that the Deity came to mankind to give Himself to
man, that man might breathe Him in as he breathes in the air, that He
might fill men. Dr. A. B. Simpson used an illustration which was about
as good as any I ever heard. He said, "Being filled with the fullness
of God is like a bottle in the ocean. You take the cork out of the
bottle and sink it in the ocean, and you have the bottle completely
full of ocean. The bottle is in the ocean, and the ocean is in the
bottle. The ocean contains the bottle, but the bottle contains only
a little bit of the ocean. So it is with the Christian."
We are filled unto the fullness of God, but, of course, we cannot
contain all of God because God contains us; but we can have all of
God that we can contain. If we only knew it, we could enlarge our
vessel. The vessel gets bigger as we go on with God. The Counselor,
68.
"Enlarge my vessel, Lord, and fill me with more and more of the
fullness of God. Amen."

Thanks so much, Chris & Margit. I have never been to England and this is like a small holiday! You folks look real nice :)
Nice devotional, Janet. Thanks. I do not have time to spend on the computer at the moment, have read the posts and they brighten the day...
God Bless,
Liz
Great pictures, Chris. I especially liked the "Cling To That Which Is Good". And there you were, clinging. :) Maybe freezing, but a cute couple freezing together.
Pat, I voted. I don't have a blog.
I'm back home, after doing more work at Beth's. We got the railings done, I sanded the top rail and got a coat of finish on it, so we won't get stickers or splinters in our fingers.
Now I wonder........who will clean this house? Oh, I know! "I'll do it myself, just like the Little Red Hen." :-\
I am ready to :'(. I called HP and they told me it will be cheaper to buy a new camera than to even get this one checked. I hate that! When you pay those big $$$ for something, you expect it to last longer than a year and a half. :ticked: So I guess I have to shop for a new camera............ >:( :'( :'( :ticked:
I'm listening to a program about all the Baptist churches that have been burned in the South. So sad.....and all arson.
Etta Sue, glad your service people showed up, and that all is ready now for your Florida trip. Good for you!
Chris, I hav3en't been to London, and I really enjoyed my little tour with you and Margit. Thanks! :)

Good morning from Japan. Janet, thanks for the devotional.
Well, today we visit the tax office to file for 2005. It's quite a bit of work, but has to be done.
Janet, sorry about your camera. Mine is in the shop, but the good word came back that Canon is picking up the bill. But the wait is so hard!
Speaking of waiting, here's a pict...how many seconds was this exposed?

I like this article chris -thanks for sharing.
I am off to my prayer meeting tonight.
Its been a busy day
praying you all will have a great day in the Lord.
Hello all! I'm at work and will get to leave in about 7 and a 1/2 minutes, so I gotta hurry.
Yes, I have a blog -- two of them actually. I think the links are in my signature.
I am now pinned onto the map. :) It didn't take near as long here at work as it did at home. I really and truly hate dialup sometimes. :?
I'd better run, I need to straighten a few things out.
k
Pat You put Al's map pin way south of where he lives. You can't see my pin on the map unless you zoom in to Al's pin and go north at least 8 miles. When I zoomed in the correct area where he lives I could see his trailer.
Marilyn, I have no idea where Al lives or where anyone lives out west so I just guessed. I've never been out there so I just put it anywhere.
To find your pin easily, just click on your name at the bottom of the map. Then only that one pin shows up.
Looks like maybe Nine seconds...did I win something? Cool photo by the way! Peace, Ritz.

Oops! Hey Kevin...change that guess to fifteen or sixteen. Peace, Ritz.
Aw crud! Now I'm thinking nine again...How many seconds was it exposed for?
Janet thanks for your time this morning.
Chris & Margit also thank for the pictures of London, I have not been there and perhaps never will be so again thanks for sharing.
I still need some help with the pin. I went to my profile and could not seem to get it figured out, perhaps I am blind.
This is pancake tuesday and the local Lions had a dinner - the cost was only $6.00 for all you could eat.
Ruth
mybcjazz, my guess is about 5 seconds. Come on now - tell us. ???
Hello, gang! How in the world is every one? Can't hang around long, but I wanted to say HI!
NINE SECONDS.
Janet: Sorry about that camera. We have an Olympus - our son has one & when he sent it in for service - they sent back a new one. He had owned it for over a year as well. Yes, cleaning house  it never ends.
I will guess one second.
Tomorrow is the task force meeting at church & I hope to take on one of the projects at the habitat building - something that will allow us to travel & come back & work like crazy here & then take off again. There will be something right up my alley.
Carol
Oh, so close! Eight seconds, actually. There are gaps "between" the second hands--the gaps are what have to be counted ^-^ . I was having a blast with my macro lens, shooting everything that might look a bit of fun.
Gripped,
kevin
Time to lock the door...
