Janet: Hello, Friends!  Let's get this going again!  I miss  hearing from all of you! 2025-01-23, 19:26:16

Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Thanks Jane.  Mike took that right before we left to get my pictures taken.  I am getting ready for the next dance class.  It is a pretty outfit too.  A little sexier though.

Pretty slow here today, dontcha think?

Hi, Ladybug :'(... It is good to see you here .. don't be afraid to just jump in and visit with us.  There's a plate of cookies over there on the table and the water is hot for tea ... also freshly brewed coffee, if that's your preferance.   ;)

I have finished all the housework I plan to do for today. Now I am awaiting some guests who should be arriving in a couple hours or less.

This morning a very kind man brought me another load of wood!  :D  I had him dump it in the front yard because it is easier to move it from there to the back where it needs to be stacked for winter.  He is in the process of changing jobs and will not be able to bring wood after that, so he said he will try to get two more loads to me before he leaves.    :D

God is sooo good to me!  This man brings these "scraps" from the mill for free!  Another friend is planning to come, in a week or so, to stack it for me...and chop the bigger pieces down to a more easily managed size.  Maybe, by the time he gets here, there will be even more wood piled up at my house!   ::)

Well, Jane, I believe the promise is to supply all our NEEDS (not our wants) according to His riches in glory. And, we all know He's plenty rich enough to supply all our needs.

Our Heavenly Father knows you will have need of that wood. How wonderful! Maybe someone else will "take up his mantle" after he changes jobs.

Ruth Ann
...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Jane Walker

You are so right, RUTH ANN!   ;)  My Father takes really good care of me and certainly meets all my needs!

How are things going for you these days, my friend?  I think of you often <and smile> and pray for your family and your own health and peace ... just rest in Him.

Unfortunately, I can't look any prettier than the photo already shows, so it's no use changing photos.  But I sure like the ones of Soni and Jane that we're seeing now!

Thanks for that wonderful hymn, Pat.  I love that "Duke Street" tune.  I'm assuming that "Duke Street" was or is a street in London, one upon which a chapel of some sort stood.

Isn't this so true??

I love this hymn and it means so much to me.

It Will Be Worth It All[/color]

Words and music by Esther Kerr Rusthoi

Oft times the day seems long, our trials hard to bear,
We're tempted to complain, to murmur and despair;
But Christ will soon appear to catch His Bride away,
All tears forever over in God's eternal day.

Refrain
It will be worth it all when we see Jesus,
Life's trials will seem so small when we see Christ;
One gliimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.

Sometimes the sky looks dark with not a ray of light,
We're tossed and driven on , no human help in sight;
But there is one in heav'n who knows our deepest care,
Let Jesus solve your problem - just go to Him in pray'r.

Refrain
It will be worth it all when we see Jesus,
Life's trials will seem so small when we see Christ;
One gliimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.

Life's day will soon be o'er, all storms forever past,
We'll cross the great divide, to glory, safe at last;
We'll share the joys of heav'n - a harp, a home, a crown,
The tempter will be banished, we'll lay our burden down.

Refrain
It will be worth it all when we see Jesus,
Life's trials will seem so small when we see Christ;
One gliimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.

Wow, for new members in one day!  That's wonderful.   ;D

I took a break from the spring cleaning today and did some shopping and preparations for tomorrow's Communion instead.  And spent some time in the yard, taking advantage of the beautiful weather while it lasts.  :-\  (Oh yes, I got some new books at the library, too.)

This has been a do nothing day for me. I have spent a lot of time on the computer doing photos for myself and for Al.

No it is time to call it a day and relax some more.
