Morning Devotional...Trials and Pain:
Moses' Prayer
So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. --Psalm 90:12
A few days after these words appear in print the old year of our Lord will have gone to join the long procession of years and centuries that move on into the shadows of a past that can come no more.
In the year just gone the world has been writing history, not with ink only but with blood and tears; not in the quiet of the study but in violence, terror and death in city streets and along the borders of nations; and other and milder but more significant history has been written by incredible feats of power in sending man-made objects out to circle the moon and the sun....
To each one fortunate enough to live out [this year], God will have given 365 days broken into 8,760 hours. Of these hours, 2,920 will have been spent in sleep, and about the same number at work. An equal number has been given us to spend in reverent preparation for the moment when days and years shall cease and time shall be no more. What prayer could be more spiritually appropriate than that of Moses, the man of God: "Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12).
Dr. Toze from The Warfare of the Spirit, pp. 145-147"So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Amen"
We'll use this "New Every Morning" till January 1 and post our New Year's wishes to everyone in here.
I'm sure that the first folks to enter the year 2006 are the folks in New Zealand.
:groupwave:
Happy New Year

A VERY HAPPY AND BLESSED NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU.
God's richest blessings to all of you, my brothers and sisters, in the new year. Let this be the year that goes down in history as the greatest revival ever!!! I pray we see many, many harvested to his glory.
Happy New Year Everyone.
We are having a most beautiful day here in Georgia with temps up to 60 later today and the sun out. My wife is taking down the Christmas decorations today as she likes to have that done before the begninning of the new year. Unfortunately I think she wants me to help with the job. I didn't have to help decorate as our son came over and helped her.
Not much planned today. I do need to get the church website up to date for the new month but that shouldn't take long.
Marilyn, hope you are able to go to the sleep clinic and determine if you need a machine to help you get enough oxygen at night. I am familar with the process as my wife has been through that and used the PAP machine for about 7 years.

Good Morning everyone. Larry I sure hope all this testing will pay off with wonderful restful sleeping.
I heard some rain a little bit ago it wasn't raining when I let the dogs out at 5:30 am. Yesterday a gust of wind blew so hard it blew off the globe that covered the porch light and I had glass all over the porch. I was out then in the rain sweeping it up.
Now this morning I am coughing harder than before. I go to Fay's for 3 hours this morning then it is home to stay inside and take care of myself.
Yesterday afternoon I took the turkey I had in the freezer to the store and had them cut it in half, I have half back int he freezer and the other half thawing in the fridge.
TTYL
Marilyn - I too am familiar with the apnea situation - Marbeth uses the PAP machine every night. She also went to the sleep lab. You stay overnight there, and they record what happens. She didn't like the machine very well at first, but she soon became used to it.
A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE is my prayer.
Al Where is the sleep lab? in Eureka? at the Hospital? where?
Hello there, everyone, and a verry happy new year to you all! Speaking of plans for tonight, Some on the tour wanted them to plan a big bash of some kind, with dancing, drinking, etc......so our tour director got information on several places people can make reservations and go. As for us, I think we will go to bed early so we will be rested for a long ride tomorrow. We will leave here in the morning and head to }Copper Canton. This IS Mexicos Grand Canyon, being four times as large and twice as deep as our Grand Canyon. I cannot imagine the immensity of it, but have my camera recharging as I type! :)
When we reach the rim of the canyon, we will board the train for the trip through the canyon. This is said to be some of the most spectacular scenery on the earth. So, yes, I think I will be posting photos.
Yesterday we visited a cactus garden, which was really impressive. We did a tour of Guaymas, and visited a pearl farm. That was very educational. And Darrel bought me a beautiful pendant, so I have a memento of that.
On the way here from Tucson, we stopped at a home factory to watch them carving figures from ironwood. We bought a few little things there, as we were assured that will be the very best prices found in all of Mexico.
There is a very impatient man waiting to use this, the only computer here, so I guess I need to sign off. Ma<ybe I will try to get back on later. The service is very slow, but I made it, after waiting on another person who was using it.
Love you guys! HAPPY NEW YEAR}!!!

Thank you so much for your greeting. It's so nice to see you on the site and I hope that in 2006 you'll be one of our "regulars"! Please feel free to set up your gallery and start uploading your photos to it.
Happy new year all my WONDERFUL FRIENDs here at CP..
May you have the most Blessed of all new years that have come , and may it be the foundation of all the NEW YEARS to come.
God Bless each and every one of you.. <3
Your Sister in Christ, Alma
Good morning every one on this New Year's Eve. We have sunshine and 44 degrees this morning. Looks like a good day this last day of 2005.
Cornelia has given me a list of things I need to do before the end of the year. One big job is cleaning off the desk and filing all the things in the wire basket. I have about finished with that one. I also have to fix up a new list of telephone numbers, a job I do every year. Well I need to get back to work. :-\
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of CP. I hope you will all walk in the light of Christ during this new year to come and that our lives will bring glory to God.
I John 1:7-10
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives. (NIV)
2 Pet 3:17-18
17 Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
(NIV)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!
My prayer is that each of you will recieve bontiful blessings from our heavenly Father above. May you find peace and happiness in every undertaking.
May you walk with God always; all the way.
Love you all in Christ,
Pam
My good wishes and prayers for a great new year for each of us and those we love - just don't follow the old Irish blessing and let the "road rise up to greet ye" as I did this last year!!!

I don't have a New Year's graphic, so I will just wish all of you the Happiest New Year ever! You are a great bunch of people to visit with, become friends with and love.
My classmate Judy and I were going out to eat today but she called and cancelled out but invited herself out this evening to do crafts with Ivalou and I. So I ran myself ragged by picking up the house and sweeping, changing bed sheets and laundry. Then I showered and now ready for company. The chili in the crock pot smelled delish!
Jerry's daughter was suppose to call me today if she came to Indiana so we could meet for lunch or dinner. Lunch is out now...too late. And dinner...well, I have other plans. I will just ask her over to do crafts with us!! \\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\//\\

Cute graphic, Etta Sue.
I add my own greetings and best wishes, prayers, and expectations for a blessed New Year 2006 for each of you. In Christ, we are looking forward to God's own plans for our lives and those we love.
We are still having much rain and a new front is forecast for later today, bringing a new wind warning along with the steady rain. As I look out the window, it is getting lighter at the moment! It was raining a minute before. Guess I'll go and do an errand before it starts again.
Marilyn, I've had the sleep test too, and use the C-Pap machine. A hint: Don't go to the sleep lab with makeup on or your hair fixed. They're going to put this gunk in your hair and attach wires to you all over. I was glad my hair was short. You'll be leaving the next day with that jelly gunk still in your hair. haha
Janet, your trip sounds so interesting and fun. I can't wait to see photos.
I heard from Jane this morning. She's going to leave Sacramento after going to church tomorrow, and drive while it's light. She's going to stop before it gets dark. I'm really glad she's not going to drive after dark, with mud slides happening all over.
love, nita
Etta Sue sent this to me:
POP THE BALLOONS!!! (http://www.icq.com/img/friendship/static/card_16961_rs.swf)
 I add my wishes also and pray you will have a happy And Prosperous New Year.
Hello from Central New York State! We will be waiting for the ball to drop in Times Square soon. I just visited New York City on Wednesday and it was so crowded with holiday visitors. I am so glad to be home and able to watch the festivities on TV!
Thanks so much for welcoming me into your very friendly community. I especially enjoy sharing fellowship and photos with all of you.
My wishes are for each of you to have a health, happy New Year filled with God's grace and blessings. Here is one of my favorite quotations: "Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
As it is written in 2Corinthians:1-3, "Working together, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For he says: "In an acceptable time I heard you, and on the day of salvation I helped you." Behold, now is a very acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Peace,
Kathy

Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
For my pardon, this I see,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
For my cleansing this my plea,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Hi there all my new brothers and sisters, may you all have a fantastic 2006
Lots of blessings from,
Vernon and Mari Fletcher <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Thanks Vernon!
Hello PAT,
2005 was a fantastic year for me because GOD made it possible for me to meet you and you my friend are a true blessing.
Love,
Vernon. ;) <3
Now, Vernon, you have me crying. <3 :'(
Hello again! So far, there isnt anyone breathing down my neck waiting for this computer, so I will tell you a little about my day today.
This morning after I posted here, I went for a long walk on the beach, and while I was walking and praying, I was also thinking of so many of you. I know Pat also loves the ocesan, and Nita and Jane, and Marilyn and Al get to live near it, so I assume they also love it. And I also thought of our sweet Mieka who loves her California home on the beach. Anyway, I sent up prayers for each of you dear CP friends.
I gathered up quite a bunch of seashells to give to Abby. There is one here I had not seen before....a small, flat one with a spiral design. Some kind of snail, maybe. Anyway, I picked up a lot of those, the smallest about 1/4 inch across and the largest maybe a bit over an inch. Cute.
This afternoon wewent on an optional tour, an off-road Sonora desert tour. We rode in the back of a pickup with a tarp as a shade. The weather is just perfect, a bit cool near the water, much warmer over near the mountains. The fellow was very knowledgable and pointed out the various kinds of trees and shrubs native to the desert here. Not much wildlife to be seen, as they are having a drought and most are staying in the shade to conserve their water and energy. He took us to a desert oasis, and yes! It even has palm trees! Amazing. We drove down an arroyo (dry river bed) for quite a ways, through a squatters village, and a fishing village (also squatters) and back around to our hotel. It was enjoyable and educational, the other 8 people with us very congenial, so we had a really nice afternoon.
It is good to see Ruth Ann and Judy Mc posting, and I heartily welcome the new comers! You will love this place. We try to be kind and loving and welcome all who join us. i WOULD REALLY MISS cp IF ANYTHING SHOULD EVER HAPPEN TO IT. oops!! pardon the caps, this keyboard is really tricky! :-[
Still no one waiting..............nice!
I think we will have a light supper and make an early night of it. All that fresh air and sunshine should make us sleep really well tonight. And when we wake up, it will be 2006!! Hard to believe, isnt it?
I hear beautiful piano music..........going to check it out!
Thanks for that lovely post, Janet.
I'm a little bit weepy here tonight. Not sure why. I'm glad you're having a good time.
Happy New Year in case you don't get back.
Cheer up Dear Pat!
You are always cheering others on,
let us cheer you on now, God bless you and give you a most WONDERFUL new start to 2006, we wish you all the very best of health and happiness ok?
love you,
Chris and Margit :) ;) :D ;D :o :P   ^-^ 0:-) <3xx

Oh Pat, don't be weepy. Think of how many people love you tonight and what a good job you have done to keep CP on the internet for us all to enjoy.
I think of Janet down there taking in the culture of Mexico and of Marilyn and Al in northern California trying to stay dry with the rain and flooding. I think of our friend Anthony in England along with Chris and Margit, and of Etta May in Indiana. And I think of faithful Larry just down in Atlanta. And there is Nita and...and.... I think tonight of Judy Mc another of our Canadian sisters. I think of Ruth Ann, just across town from me. I think of all our brothers and sisters whose names do not come to me. And YOU Pat, have made this fellowship possible. I THINK WE ALL OUGHT TO START OFF THIS NEW YEAR BY SAYING "THANK YOU PAT!
Cornelia and I did our last reading tonight, the last three chapters of Revelation. This is the third year in a row we have read the Bible through out loud. It is a blessing to us. Tomorrow we are going to begin Genesis again and this year we are going to read the King James version.
Good night everyone and again, 'HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
Papa John
When tomorrow comes.. a new beginning, a new day to praise God and look upward.

THANK YOU PAT XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Pat, I'm hugging you with my heart. I'm sorry you're feeling weepy. Sometimes a good cry does wonders for us women. Not sure about the men. I had my weepy time before Christmas. You are so loved, and so important to us here at CP. We are, in a real sense, family. Like Janet, I would miss "us" if we weren't all here.
I went to town, but it was tricky. There is much more flooding than I thought. There were policemen and city workers all over, stopping traffic, redirecting. Some homes have flooded, and some businesses. City highways, along the bay, are partly flooded. There was a breach in one of the dikes along the slough, and water flooded in and over the road. I think it subsided when the tide went out. I saw pickup trucks going through some areas of high water, but many others turned around and went another way. My car is low and I'd be afraid to try it.
Heh! I see Papa John, Chris and Margit, Babycakes and Nita are here. :)
Let me go and get my diet pepsi, and I'll have a toast to the new year with you. Oops, I drank it all. Well, maybe next year.
Happy New Year everyone, may the new year be better than the old one for us all.
Thank you Pat, for this wondeful site! :grouphug:
Our church is having a mini watch nite service starting at 10 pm. I'm just trying to keep busy until then.
(I live in a dry county, so not too many partying people on the roads, but there is still a few) If I lived in a big town, I guess I would stay at home to be safe.
Spoke with my sister for a little while today. Could not understand her, she is hallucinating due to the pain meds.
More on her in prayer request.
Talk to y'all next year.
Samantha
CHEERS. Nita, et al. :)
Papa John you are so right, well said.
;D ;D ;D After reading all the posts I couldn't figure out why there was no "Reply" button available. Finally dawned on me, I hadn't logged in! :-[
I just want to wish all of you - my dear brothers and sisters in Christ - the most blessed New Year.
I am back! Everyone seems to be eating dinner or gone elsewhere, so it is pretty quiet just now.
The piano in the lobby was being played....expertly!...by a 22 year old young man who is a guest here. I sat and enjoyed it until he stopped and put the top down on the grand piano and covered it up again. He said he has been playing for only five years, as a hobby. Boy, was he good!
I made another post earlier (but lost it) to tell Ruth Ann that I had the road rise to meet me yesterday. :( I took a really nasty fall on tile and concrete, hitting my right knee and jarring my right shoulder as I tried to break my fall. Boy, did it ever hurt! :'( But I scrambled up quickly, and am so thankful that nothing is broken. Actually, my knee hurt the worst, and it is swollen and turning a lovely shade of purple, but doesn{t hurt much now. But my upper arm really gives me fits when I reach with my hand....but I am doing stretches and trying to keep it from getting any worse.l Thank }God for strong bones, and I am so glad I have been working out, as I think that helped it not to be worse. There was a little (about 5 inches) step up just as I entered a darkened hallway, looking for the "bano" sign, and I didnt see it. OUCHIE!!
We went out by the pool and watched a spectacular sunset, then got a pizza from a little place here in the hotel and ate it in our room. It isnt even eight yet, and my eyes are drooping......so I am sure I wont be watching the new year come in.
Jeanne Lee, good to see you! Happy New Year!!!
Papa John, I just finished reading the Bible through again, too, and for the new year am going to read the chronoligacal one year Bible. I will have a lot to catch up on, though, as I didnt bring that one with me.
I love all you guys! And I pray Gods richest blessings on you in 2006.
Thanks everyone!
It's now 2006 and my wish for you all is that 2006 will be the best year ever for each and every one of us.
Thanks especially for the last 10 or so posts. They HAVE encouraged me a lot.
Happy New Year Folks.
Pat cheer up this year will be better than last year.
I am claiming the promises in Joshua chapter 1 with emphasis on verse 9.
Have a good day and night all
 HAPPY NEW YEAR BROTHER'S & SISTER'S
I pray that you all have a blessed day today & the entire year through so take care & see you all again soon !!
Happy New Year to each and everyone of you. I didn't manage to stay up to see the new year in but found it was 2006 when I woke up this morning, just the same. I am ready for church and just waiting for the time to leave.
I can't remember if I told you that I had sold my second car on Friday. The man came to look at it and we reached an agreement and when Pat got back from shopping we both signed the title and then delivered the car to the man's home. He buys old cars and resells them to individuals. I called my insurance company and cancelled the insurance. I was a little dissappointed as the premiums didn't go down the full amount of the insurance amount on the car by about $50 but it will still save me $20 a month on insurance so that is something.
Pat, certainly hope you feel better today. Often a night of rest makes a big difference in how we feel. While I can't say that I ever feel weepy, as such, I now find that my emotions often come to the surface and I am much less able to control them than I used to be. I saw Willard Scott, who still appears on the NBC Today Show a couple of times a week, and he was being interviewed about a book he put his name to on the wisdom of the aged. He commented about being much more emotional than he used to be.
There are so many postings I am not going to write individual responses today. However, do want to say that I am glad you were not hurt in your fall Janet. My one short trip into Mexico still leaves me with memories of the uneven sidewalks and really having to watch where we walked.
Again, a big Happy New Year to you all.
Hello all! The kids are seeming to feel better. I'm starting to get back to normal (whatever that is), but poor nards is feeling puny now. ;(
My rebel got here yesterday (FINALLY). I'm so excited.
I love the first of the year. New time to start over. Reminds me of how Jesus let me start over (several times actually), and he doesnt' need a special day to do it.
I typically don't make resolutions, but this year I ahve got to do some things different. I'm really wanting to get my Mary Kay business to a "supporting" level (meaning I don't have to work outside the home and we can start affording some small "extras" again) and I really want to get my photography skills honed and developed (no pun intended) and maybe make a little money that way, as well.
Soooo, basically my NY resolutions, if I call them that are to be more efficient with my time, more diligent in my spiritual life, and more focused in general. I am a bit tired of being a scatterbrain. . . .
I hope everyone is having a good day. It is beautiful outside, but a bit nippy, so we will stay in. (Though I may open a few windows to let the germs out -- hahahahhaha).
take care and enjoy your day!
I'll post this little guy again since I don't have any other NY animation...(https://www.christianphotographers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fmy.core.com%2F%7Eettasue%2Fanimations%2FHappyNewYear.gif&hash=88d3051c714b0f68b496e4c63be7b53880e9f1fd)
Pat ~ Think of how many love you on CP! Now think of how many love you on SrNet! Now your Hiking Club! Now your neighbors! Now your family! Now with all that love, Jesus loves you more! How awesome you are to have that love. Me, too. Jesus loves me and you and you and you!
My chili was great...at least, Ivalou and Judy ate it and asked for seconds. We made some greeting cards and I was in bed by 11:10 p.m. And like many of you, when I woke this morning it was 2006! Church was great with only one service again today...many more attendees today than last week. I ate lunch at Steak 'n' Shake...got cole slaw...that is cabbage, isn't it? And now I am rushing to get caught up so I can put heat to my back. That standing at church about does me in! ?º°`°º?ø,¸¸,ø?º°`°º?ø?º°`°º?ø,¸¸,ø?º°`°º?ø?º°`°º?ø,¸¸,ø?º°`°º?ø?º°`

Yes, we too had one short service at church, wonderful worship, the very great presence of Jesus amongst us, I filled up at one point and couldn't sing nor even speak tears ran down my face!
His love just filled me to overflowing, I hugged everyone to bits lol.
Best wishes to all of you,
'Chris and Margit too. :'(

I sorted it Pat :)
I've returned from a full day of worshipping with friends, then lunch, then a gift exchange, and then we picked up my old computer that a man had rehabbed for one of the friends I ate lunch with today. All in all, a good, satisfying kind of day with ABSOLUTELY no stress - I really needed this day, and thanks be to God for the blessings received from His hands today.
Ruth Ann
What a great day, Ruth Ann! That's wonderful. Glad you feel better for it.
Thanks Chris! ;)
I had a phone call from Al Moak saying he's without power so is unable to get online. I wonder if Marilyn is having the same problem. What a terrible situation of rain and flooding that they are having out there.
This hymn came to my mind as I was speaking to Al Moak...

MASTER, THE TEMPEST IS RAGING (http://christianphotographers.com/sounds/master_the_tempest_is_raging.mid)
(Click to hear music)
Master, the tempest is raging!
The billows are tossing high!
The sky is o'ershadowed with blackness,
No shelter or help is nigh;
Carest Thou not that we perish?
How canst Thou lie asleep,
When each moment so madly is threatening
A grave in the angry deep?
Refrain
The winds and the waves obey Thy will,
Peace, be still!
Whether the wrath of the storm tossed sea,
Or demons or men, or whatever it be
No waters can swallow the ship where lies
The Master of ocean, and earth, and skies;
They all shall sweetly obey Thy will,
Peace, be still! Peace, be still!
They all shall sweetly obey Thy will,
Peace, peace, be still!
Master, with anguish of spirit
I bow in my grief today;
The depths of my sad heart are troubled
Oh, waken and save, I pray!
Torrents of sin and of anguish
Sweep o'er my sinking soul;
And I perish! I perish! dear Master
Oh, hasten, and take control.
Refrain
Master, the terror is over,
The elements sweetly rest;
Earth's sun in the calm lake is mirrored,
And heaven's within my breast;
Linger, O blessed Redeemer!
Leave me alone no more;
And with joy I shall make the blest harbor,
And rest on the blissful shore.
Refrain

Oh brother.... I had a rather long post typed here....and it just vanished on me!
I wanted to wish you all a very happy and healthy 2006!
Al and Larry....you were talking about sleep apnea. Norm has this, but can't seem to adjust to the pap machine.
Did it take you awhile, Al? Larry, you mentioned Pat using it for seven years....does she not have sleep apnea now? Norm goes again to the sleep lab, in two weeks.
Pat - I pray for you often. I'm sure each new year, and special holiday, is difficult for you.
You have blessed us all, with all you do here on C.P. <3 :)
We have a very nice day today. This morning we went to Bible study and worship. We had our regular schedule today except there was no evening service.
There were several guests here today. Our daughter, Rachel, and her family came and there were several others. We had black eyed peas, slaw, little ham sandwiches, and for desserts several cookies and goodies left over from Christmas.
This afternoon I watched a part of a football game and went to sleep for a good nap.
Gen 3:1-4
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
(KJV)
Satan hasn't changed. He continues to deceive people. We need to be careful to hold on to the faith by which we are saved.
1 Pet 5:6-9
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. (NIV)
Papa John
I don't see Marilyn on either. They must both be without power.
Judy, most people have the hardest time with finding a mask that is comfortable. I use a full face mask because I tend to breathe with my mouth once I fall asleep. It took awhile to get used to, but now I don't mind it.
Ruth Ann.......yipee, a day with no stress! Way to go.
Papa John, I guess your day was pretty relaxing too. Black Eyed Peas! I love black eyed peas. I haven't had any for awhile, so will pick up some when I go to town next.
Pat, I've not heard that song before. Now I have. :) Hope you are feeling better.
Chris and Margit. I would love to be in your church services. There is absolutely nothing like His Presence in such a manifest way. You really can't do anything can you? Simply crying says it all. And hearts are turned to mush and to each other. How precious is our Lord.
The "boys" and I had a good day. Blessings, Nita
New Years Day is nearly over here - less than two hours to go. Can't say I'm sorry. This is always a tough day for me, although when Gene was alive I tried not to let it affect us. On New Years day in 1988 my first husband's symptoms first showed themselves with chest pain that was originally diagnosed as a broken rib. Eventually we were informed it was bone cancer and Ray died in April. So I'm glad to see the end of this day.
Enough of that! We had a little snow overnight, only about an inch, but everything looked so pretty this morning. I do love the changes of season we have here!
Well, I've moved Al's "New Every Morning" out into the public area and I guess that they still have no power.
Please continue your conversation in the new topic. Fill it up before morning if you wish! lol
