That in all things He might have the preeminence.
Colossians 1:18

Yes, we desire that Christ have preeminence in the church. But He should have first place in all things.

That means in my life, too.

Start at the heart, what I love.

My mind, what I think.

My body, how I dress.

My home, what I do.

My family, how I treat others.

My friendships, who I'm with.

My conversations, what I say.

Now you've got it--in all things He should have the preeminence.

Is it so?

I went for a little visit of five days (to Areley House). There were ten per­sons in the house, some un­con­vert­ed and long prayed for, some con­vert­ed, but not re­joic­ing Christians. He gave me the pra­yer, "Lord, give me all in this house!" And He just did.

Before I left the house every one had got a bless­ing.

The last night of my vis­it af­ter I had re­tired, the gov­ern­ess asked me to go to the two daugh­ters. They were cry­ing.  Then and there both of them trust­ed and re­joiced; it was near­ly mid­night. I was too hap­py to sleep, and passed most of the night in praise and renewal of my own con­se­cra­tion; and these little coup­lets formed them­selves, and chimed in my heart one af­ter ano­ther till they fin­ished with "Ever, On­ly, ALL for Thee!"

:thumbsup: Had a goooood visit with ETTA last night & it was nice to see her place & to also meet her 2 GIRLS which by the way INKY was very nice and let me pet her too. So, it was a lot of fun & I thank you ETTA so much for the wonderful visit so ... you have to come back to see us again sometime soon. 

Etta took me to dinner & it was FILLING to say the least & then for a treat she drove me past where my daughter was going to be seeing the concert at ... WOW that place was busy.

My daughter & her ride showed up around 12 to get me & we had a CLEAR RIDE all the way HOME and arrived back to her place at 2 am & KALYN was still awake & talking so ... we chose to come on home to ENJOY OUR OWN BEDS & so as of 9:15 am she is still in bed so I am up & so ... HOUSEWORK is calling my name !!

Other then that I ask you to please read over the prayer requests that I have below and I will update when I can ...


1. For my son who is still living here at home APPLIED for A NEW JOB which will take him if hired today to MICHIGAN which he has left to drive up there for a INTERVIEW ... pray for his travels.

2. My husband has a cousin who went through a COMPLETE CT SCAN yesterday and is waiting news to find out if the CANCER that she had in her BREASTS has srpead so do keep her in prayer. RESULTS come back today ...

3. For my husband who is still battleing his CROHN'S & has lost some more weight  :'( & well he has another treatment this week on FRIDAY so continue to pray for him.

So ... better go have a blessed day friends & I shall be back again soon with some updates.

Etta for the wonderful time !! And also GANG I am sorry that I did not have my camera to get some new pictures but next time she comes to visit us ... WE WILL GET SOME FOR SURE !!

Yes, Karen and I had a great visit.  I know she was getting antsy waiting on Kalyn to return but you know how concerts are.  Oh, yes!  Kalyn saw Kelly Clarkson in concert.  She is a winner on American Idol.  I can't seem to add anything about Karen and my visit...she covered it all.  I was surprised that my girls let her pet them.  They normally hide when company is around but they were with us about the whole evening. 

My computer guy didn't show up yesterday morning so I called him.  He is suppose to be here tomorrow morning which is great since I don't have to go to Grand Rapids this week.  The A/C man said my A/C is working fine...just that maybe I need some fans circulating the air on very hot and humid days.  I can do that. 

So now I am off to Indiana University this afternoon.  I should be back by 9 p.m. .....so I will be back on CP after that.

It has been a rainy morning so far. Temp is 22*C.

Have to run John is leaving and I have a lot to accomplish before he leaves.

Karen:  I stopped and said a prayer before moving on.  I am pleased to read that you enjoyed your visit with Etta & girls.

Judy: I am glad that it is raining up your way because it will hit the south sooner I hope.

When we had our lawn sprayed yesterday some of the spray touched the lower parts of my Scotch Thistle and Mel said good now I can cut it down.  I have got some snap shots not the whole plant as it is tall and skinny.   My back is still bothering me but I feel that when weather changes it will be fine again.

I am still in a lot of pain, Wnet to the chiropractor again today and some f the pain is  gone but not all .  I doesn't hurt when I lay down. so I am going to lay down.

Hi everyone.  Just up from resting for aobut 90 minutes this afternoon. Pat and I went to Bible study at the church this morning that our pastor conducts.  He is a wonderful teacher.  This is the third week I have attended.  He will be on vacation the next two weeks but think our Interim Associate Pastor will fill in for him these days.  After the class, most of the group go over to the Dunkin' Donut across the street for a little social time.  I was good and just had something to drink and didn't eat a donut or the apple fritter that I like so much. 

Marilyn, I did notice the date and quickly changed it. 

Glad that Tbear was able to have such a nice visit with Etta Sue. 

I am going to be brief today as most of what I would probably have said is already posted by others.  Do want to say that I am glad Jane had such a nice trip to Spokane.

Hi everyone. I have been laying down most of the day as that is the only time the pain in my shoulder stops. My neck has finally stopped hurting too, but the pain has been horrific for the last few days, I have taken more pain pills in 4 days than I have in over 4 months.

Pastor Danny wants me to come to Bible study tonight so he can anoint me with oil and pray over me.  There are so many in my church that are suffering with different kinds of pain and sickness.

Please pray against the Spirit of infirmity that seems to have a hold on Abundant Life center at this time.
