Morning Devotional...

Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared.
Heb.  5:7

The Lord Jesus lived the full spectrum of human experiences and yet He was sinless.

He offered up prayers, strong supplications with tears, for His Father's will and deliverance.

Did His Father hear Him? Yes, but there was no turning back.

He hears our groaning prayers too and sees our falling tears. He enters into our experiences with a sympathizing and caring heart, but still we must go through the trial to make us more like the Lord Jesus.

Then we will be able to comfort others who are in similar trouble (2 Cor. 1:4).

He Leadeth Me, O Blessed Thought! (http://christianphotographers.com/sounds/heleadethme.mpga)

Author:  Joseph H. Gilmore, 1834-1918
Musician:  William B. Bradbury, 1816-1868

He leadeth me, O blessèd thought!
O words with heavenly comfort fraught!
Whate'er I do, where'er I be
Still 'tis God's hand that leadeth me.

Refrain

He leadeth me, He leadeth me,
By His own hand He leadeth me;
His faithful follower I would be,
For by His hand He leadeth me.

Sometimes mid scenes of deepest gloom,
Sometimes where Eden's bowers bloom,
By waters still, over troubled sea,
Still 'tis His hand that leadeth me.

Refrain

Lord, I would place my hand in Thine,
Nor ever murmur nor repine;
Content, whatever lot I see,
Since 'tis my God that leadeth me.

Refrain

And when my task on earth is done,
When by Thy grace the victory's won,
E'en death's cold wave I will not flee,
Since God through Jordan leadeth me.

Refrain

Thank you Pat for the devotional and that hymn.   I love those words to "He leadeth me"

Hi Sonja,   I am glad I have been some help about the JW's.   I have met some very nice people who were JW's and have even been witnessing in their homes.  I sometimes want to say that if they believe the Bible is true, then they should just do what Jesus said to do.  One verse is in John 1: 12.   But as many as received Him, to them he gave the right to become children of God.  Jesus said they MUST receive Him to have salvation and eternal life.   Instead of arguing about all the other stuff, they need to just DO what Jesus said to do!    Of course, satan is the one who works very hard to keep people from the truth!

God Bless

Love Ruthie

hahaha!  Pat, I almost bumped my head getting in here!  I was composing the following on a Word Document so I would not lose it before I could get it posted in here....and when I went to do so - it was already tomorrow!!
I'll send it anyway:

Hi everyone, I will try to get in a post before the next day pops up!
I was so tired yesterday.  It was one of those days where I couldn't work up any energy or spark at all.  Some days it seems like there is more to do than I can manage.  But as I read my devotional books and scriptures, I got such a boost from reading:

"Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you.  Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light."  Matthew 11:28-30 NLT.

I am so glad He invites us to come to Him.  He can restore our weary spirits and helps us face our day if we will let Him.  This is the gist of Dr. Stanley's devotional message.  It really spoke to my heart, and to think it was written exactly for the day I was so weary.  The first time in a long time I did not want to get out of bed that morning.

Thanks to all of you for encouraging words, and the hymns, the devotionals, etc. The discussion on the Trinity was most interesting.  That very subject came up in our SS class last Sunday.
Also  I  must comment on reading about Zac's encounter with the dog – it happened to me one time too.  Zac, you did good!  And I know you were scared.  I hope that doesn't ever happen  to you again.  I was scared too, and I was a grown woman!

Hasta Manana, all.
Love in Jesus,
~Janice

Mike............

I came in late on yesterday's NEM and knew I'd lose my post to you.  What can a brother Christian say when one of loses someone we love so dearly?  We can offer our love and condolances, and can join with you in prayers of healing.  This I can and will do.  I know your pain as do thers who have expressed a like loss of a loved one.  My brother Bob wrnt home to be with our loving Lord in 1985, and I still miss him so.  No, Mike, I don't think of Bob every day as I did when I first lost him, but he still comes into my thoughts, and I'd love to share with him.  You are a very wealthy man Mike, you have many who care.

Good morning all.  Sorry I didn't get back in here last night.  I went to bed at 9:30.   :o  I was extremely tired for some reason.  Actually, I have been that way for the past several nights.  Anyway.  I woke up this morning (without an alarm clock, before TAS) and feel great.  I may need to do that more often.

I'm going to go read yesterday's posts now.  Seems like I have missed some fairly exciting stuff.

Laters.

All this talk about JW's has goven some food for John.  The company he works for is owned by JW's.  The thing I like about them is that they are not pushing their religion on him, and are respectful of our faith.  I am going to copy and paste yesterdays discussion for John so he has it all together to read.

I slept well last night.  TO bed earlier than is normal and slept later.  I have a dr's appointment so have to scoot.

Have a good day.

Hey karma! 9:30 is early for you.   :o  I have been trying to get to bed earlier too.   Have a good day.

Jenny~About 6 years ago Zachery was playing at friends house and his dog got out of the house and tore into Zachery's leg.  The dog wouldn't let go and ripped a hole on both sides of his leg.  It was a mess.  It pretty much ruined his summer.  That is why he is so fearful of dogs.  The owners had the dog put to sleep so he wouldn't do it to another kid.  And no, Zachery wasn't teasing the dog. The dog was just a mean cocker spanial.

I haven't figured out how to take portraits with my camera, so today is the day I learn.  I am going to spend most my time working with the settings.  Everytime I put it on portrait mode the flash comes up. grrr... Maybe I should tape something on the flash.  ::)  We see.

I read Matthew 24 and 25.
I noticed it had stated in Matthew 24:35 that "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."

What does that mean?

If I am going to get anything done I better get off of here.

I sure miss Janet. :(

It just means that even when earthly things wear out or are destroyed, still God's Word the Bible will endure.  In fact, even if the sun should cease to shine and the earth become uninhabitable, yet God's promises will still come true.  Simply put, His Word is FAITHFUL and UNCHANGEABLE.  You can ALWAYS count on what He has said.

My friend Barbara is phoning me soon re the baby field mouse I rescued this morning after Pushkin dropped it at the door. She has just been here to collect "Baby Mouse." She looked after the hedgehog I rescued and released it into the wild.  The baby mouse was full of beans after I warmed it by the fire and stroked it.It was trying to get onto the floor... ::).ah, pretty little thing!
Barbara will put it under the heat lamp and feed it with goats milk.  She was feeding a rescued seagull when I rang her!  :o

Bye for now.

Soni... Even when we feel the world will end God's word will endure.    During the tribulatiiion, God's word will still endure and be true.  Doesn't matter what happens to this old world. God's word will endure.

Doctor has changed meds for me.  I pray these ones work.

Soni..... get Zach a tin of pepper spray.... that way he can spray  any dog that gets too close when he delivers papers he has protection.

DID you know that the beloved cocker spaniel is number three on the most probable to bite list?  Amazing eh?   Well if you knew our Cimi you would agree that we have to be careful of her when strangers come around.  She is more lethal than our Rottweillers!

The pepper spray is what the postmen use.  Here at home I make up a bottle of vinegar water in a spray bottle to use and that works too. Possibly a little more humane.

Try the pepper or vinegar spray.  Having one of these will help his self confidence too.

The dentist trip wasn't too bad.  I knew I had a chip off of a tooth.  I lost it a few days after my last visit.  I told the hygenist that she picked and probed too hard the last time.  Her answer..."Well, I have to bring money to the office somehow!" I took that as honesty even though she was laughing!  So the outcome is that the dentist thinks I need 4 crowns.  I told him, no way would I do 4 crowns at once or even in the same year.  (I have dental insurance.  It covers great for exams, x-rays and such but only about 30% for fillings, crowns, root canals and extractions.)  So I told him to send an estimate to my insurance so I wouldn't be surprised at my cost to do ONE crown.  I have asked for estimates before and I have never received one back from my insurance.  My old dentist told me about 10 years ago that I needed two of these crowns.  Those fillings are still hanging in there!!!

Larry ~ Same here.  Jerry bought me some flowers for Valentines and Ali would eat them.  This time Inky didn't pay any attention to them.

Pat ~ If a mini-CP bash is scheduled....ALL is invited!!!!

Mike ~ I know it was a sad day for you yesterday.  But remember, you will see your brother again.

Zachary ~ I am so glad you got help when you needed it about the dog.  That lady certainly saved you a trip to the hospital.  I could feel my heart racing just reading your post.

Sonja ~ I would love to see you and Chandraya dancing.  I miss going to see dances now that Ivalou's grandkids are growing up.  But she does have three girls still in dance.  Their recital is the first week in June.  I am sure we will go to Ohio to see it.  Besides Lydia, she's 5, is in dance now.

Sarah ~ I see you just sent me an IM.  But I am in a hurry so didn't reply.  Sorry!

Careful Zach!

I read something recently.  As adults we should drink 1 8oz glass of water for every 20 pounds of body weight.  So if you weigh 100 lbs, (I can  only dream haha) you drink at least 5 cups of water.  This helps to wash out the bugs that cause colds and flu's.  I am increasing my water intake, I challenge the rest of you to as well!

Ajenda for today.

Good Morning.

The Doctor also tld me that the dizzy spell could have been a "Silent Migraine" and gave me 2 pills that are specific to migraines and nothing else. She tol me "IF" this happens again to take one of the pills and see if it stops within anhour if not take the other pill 4 hours later, still dizzy then it's not a migrain and I willhave to have an MRI. But medi/cal (medicaid) is getting reall iffy on paying for MRI's, so that is why none at this time for me.

Thanks Pat for the IM I have done as you requested. Thank you for the devotional Always right on.

Going to check the other folders.sooo TTYL

Good morning, Marilyn.

I was thinking about this and did the doctor say anything about allergies or ear problems?  When I was pregnant with Chandraya I got really dizzy, for about 1 month. They couldn't figure out why I was so dizzy.  My OB doc told me to take some allergy pills and with in a  week I was feeling better.  I had collected fluid in my middle ear and didn't know it.

Might be something to think about.

Hi Everyone!

It was a nice sunny day this morning but it's got quite dull out now.

Hope you are all having a great day.  How's the weather over where you are, Jenny and Chris and Margit?  Is spring out fully?  Or will you have any more frosty days?

And Ria, how's that toe?

Soni, what a time you're having with your new camera!  I'm so "jealous"!  HAHAHA!  I'd love to have one.

Oops, phone is ringing.  I'll be back.....

Yes, Sonja, The medicine I was given for dizzy spells/vertigo was a strong dose of antihistime.
Said it was collection of fluid in ear from allergies.

I have heard of the migraine theory for dizzyness/I am very fortunate and blessed that I don't suffer from migranes.

My headaches/slight ones are from sinus.

I am using everyone's suggestion of sinus--thanks again.

Prayers that you are feeling better, Marilyn. You are too valuable in GOD's eyes to stay sick for too long.

I am so pleased that I mentioned being approached by the JW yesterday.

I enjoyed the postings of so many and makes it so clear what to say.

The ones that I was approached by were very friendly but one just kept her bible opened and wanted her words to convey her message barely listening to our words; just her own.

My hubby sounds so much like Al; in fact, Al, my husband just read your message and said -o-right on!!

Ruthie, enjoying your message--think I will go to new forum on Trinity and post.

Hope all are feeling well.

I shutterd when I heard of Zach's plight with the dog.
When we were looking to purchase a dog they told us not to get cocker spaniel if I have little ones in the house(they bite) How can something so cute ; bite??

My son was in a yard playing and for some reason a dog came racing over and took a chunk out of him.
My son was ten at the time and didn't do anything to provoke the dog(in fact , the dog was inside and broke through a screen to get to my son).

The dog was placed in quarantine 'cause he went right for my son's throat--very. very scary--scar showed for a long time.

Dog did not have rabies.

Talk to you later, take care and as always,

Love in Christ,

Joyce

Well, here I am back again...  Several phone calls and two visitors at the door later!  LOL

Liz, I've been praying for Al.  I hope that his pain meds are working for him.  Please keep us posted.

Hi Joyce.  Got your email but no photos.  Hope your daughter can get them to me.

I've also been wondering how Lee's friend is who was baptized last fall and has cancer.  If you pop in here, Lee, I'm just wondering...

Judy, is pepper spray available to the general public?   I know that it's something not to be handled lightly for sure.  Just wondering...  I really don't have a clue.

Sorry Marilyn that you've been suffering with this problem.  I know that my silent migraine had absolutely no pain.  Only my vision was affected.

I sure hope that Carol (Gareth's wife) and Brian aka Prayforsurf, come and see their birthday wishes!  Maybe we should send Prayforsurf and IM and wish him a Happy Birthday and tell him about his greetings.  He's now nearly out of his teen years!

NEVER BLACKMAIL YOUR PASTOR FINANCIALLY IT'S NOT GOOD AND GOD WILL NOT BLESS YOU FOR THAT! :)

March 11

Pastoral Ministry: The Economic Squeeze

But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of
an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
--2 Timothy 4:5

A number of factors contribute to bad spiritual leadership....

The economic squeeze. The Protestant ministry is notoriously
underpaid and the pastor's family is often large. Put these two
facts together and you have a situation ready-made to bring trouble
and temptation to the man of God. The ability of the congregation
to turn off the flow of money to the church when the man in the
pulpit gets on their toes is well known. The average pastor lives
from year to year barely making ends meet. To give vigorous moral
leadership to the church is often to invite economic strangulation,
so such leadership is withheld. But the evil thing is that
leadership withheld is in fact a kind of inverted leadership. The
man who will not lead his flock up the mountainside leads it down
without knowing it.  God Tells the Man Who Cares, 61-62.

"Lord, again I pray for any pastor who may be facing this economic
squeeze today. Help him to be faithful and give strong leadership
no matter the cost. Then, Lord, I pray that even today You would
grant one of Your special, generous provisions as a powerful
reminder of Your great faithfulness. Amen."

Hi everyone!!

I am in a particularly great mood today.  A dear friend of mine, who has been having trouble with his marriage wrote me via email today to let me know that his wife had the baby that they were expecting.

Andrew Thomas (last name withheld) was born at 8:05 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004 weighing in at 8lbs 6oz.

I was wondering if you PSP'ers out there could help me out.  I am wanting to make up a page of best wishes, and special greetings to this new little man.

I am wanting to have the page up before my friends wife comes home, which will likely be on Saturday morning.  Can you help me?  I will be happy to share the web page with all of you as well......

Love to all
Heather

Oh, my goodness, Chris!  There are many people on my street getting new roofs and when I see the signs and see the guys up there in this cold, I say a little prayer for you.  God bless you, Chris.  Glad that the daffodils are blooming.  They are such a special flower for me now.

Wow, lots of folks in here posting.

Joyce, that is so sad about your son and that dog.  I feel dogs like that need to be put to sleep right away, even if they don't bite anyone.  What is the use of having a dog if all they do is bark and try to bite people.  ::) ???

I got my outfit for my tap class in today.  they are so pretty.   can't wait to get pictures.  We still need a few missing pieces, like wig, gloves and tapper thingies that look like boots to cover our tap shoes.

I got to go...dinner is ready.

I was thinking along the lines of the special graphics that we do for birthdays and anniversaries, only in this case it would be for a brand new baby and his parents.  I gave the time of his birth, as well as the weight and date, just in case anyone wanted to incorporate that into the "card"  On the page that I am doing up, you won't see my name.  I am wanting this to be fairly annonomous, however if anyone here would like to sign their work, that would be ok too, as the couple who I am wanting to do this up for, don't know any of you.

Does any of this make any sence?

Well, I'll see what I can do but I must first do 2 weeks of PSP lessons so that I can complete my course.

What are we supposed to be doing with them.  Send them to you?

Many on here have no way of making graphics.  But guess they can send you a greeting.

Yes I suppose that would work the best, email them to me, and I can work on the page from there.

The email address is heatherbrunet@hotmail.com

I gather all of my email using Outlook express, so I will leave it open tonight and tomorrow, and have Jon move stuff that comes in into the inbox on my harddrive, so that my hotmail inbox doesn't get over loaded.

Just heard more on the news re Spain.. tomorrow they are marching against Terrorism. Seems they now think this is an act by Moslem extremists, something to do with a copy of a Qur-an and other items in a car near to one of the stations.

In  Defence of the Cocker Spaniel

I had a wonderful Blue Roan Cocker Spaniel when I lived in Lincolnshire with my grandmother. Nanna bought him  for my 17th birthday.  We walked miles together over the fields,  Paddy was always waiting for me at the gate when I came home from working at the dentist.  He was a loving doggie and never so much as growled at anyone. My Nanna was deaf and he was so gentle with her. Living next door to us were my cousins and their two little boys.  Paddy was a softee with them too.

My Lincolnshire Grandmother grew up on a farm and they had Cocker Spaniels that's why she advised me to have one. She loved them.

My Welsh grandmother had Flush, a lovely Cocker Spaniel also.  They always had a Cocker Spaniels in my  mother's family.

An Alsation bit my finger when I was small.  I was afraid of them all my life until I came here to the park.  Now I have a huge Alsation come running upto my scooter and jump up and lick me all over.

Dogs are like people..some are good, some are bad within each breed. There are rascals in every family!

Goodnight from England.

Hi Jenny and hi everyone.  I have had a busy day and just now getting here to read the postings from yesterday and today.  Today was the bi-monthly luncheon of the retirees from where I used to work.  We had about 12 folks there today and as always had a nice visit and a good meal.  In a few minutes my wife and I are going to go to the Golden Corral for a dinner that is being sponsored by a financial management consultant dealing with retirement.  This is the first time we have gone to anything like this but decided it couldn't hurt to listen and we would have a good meal.

We have had a beautiful day here with it getting into the lower 60s.  The flowering trees are beginning to bloom out and I hope to get a few pictures of some of them in the next few days.

This morning, for the first time ever, there was a trojan virus on my wife's computer that the anti-virus program couldn't remove.  Fortunately, one of the men at the luncheon told me what to do and I came home and it removed the exe file involved and her computer tests free of virus.  We think she may have gotten it from a webpage she visited last night because she said the page did things she had never seen a page do before.

Zachery, that was certainly a frightening experience with the dog and I would have been very frightened as well.  Certainly glad it ended without incident and that you were not bitten.

The situation in Spain is certainly terrible and once again reminds us that terrorists can strike anywhere and at any time.  I truly believe we are experiencing a world-wide war of a type we have never had to fight before.  I just hope we can keep our resolve as nations to combat these terrorists.

Chris, that was a very interesting piece you posted on the financial plight we often put our ministers in and the effect of that on the leadership they provide.

Guess I had better sign off for now and get ready to go.  Hopefully tomorrow I will have more time to make more comments to each of you.

Jenny.  I had a cocker spaniel named Paddy as well!  He is with my son Doug and they love him to bits, he is so gentle with the boys.

Cimi is fine with people she knows.  Even the grand kids.  But if a strange to her boy comes around she will bark and chase him.  We usually carry her and give her time to get to know the individual.  Once she has the chance to see she won't be hurt she is fine.

I have lain down most of the afternoon as the kids did their school work.  This cold has got me down, fever and all the rest of the symptoms.  Melaura has helped with the younger girls with their school work where needed and she seems to understand what she is doing with her own work herself.  She is one bright girl.

It is plus 5C here today.  An overcast day, that is threatening snow.  I am staying in for the balance of the day so let it snow/rain or whatever.  It has snowed every friday for the last 8 weeks, except the 13th of Feb!

Well talk later, I am starting supper.

Well, it is good to see everyone here today.  I have had a kind of lazy day.  I did a lot of printing this morning, printing an invitation for a baby shower for one of our granddaughters.

The weather has been pleasant today but I didn't get my walk because I was feeling just a little under the weather, nothing serious.

I think we are about ready to make our trip.  Saturday morning, early, we will leave and drive down to Bradenton, Florida, where we will be for five weeks.  We will be not far from the beach and will also have a beautiful private swimming pool.  This will be our eleventh year to spend a vacation in this same place.

We worship there with a very nice congregation of around 200 members.  Every year the Christians there welcome us with open arms.    I think of how Paul longed to see the faces of his brothers and sisters in Thessalonica.

1Thes 2:17  But we, brethren, having been taken away from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavored more eagerly to see your face with great desire.  (NKJ)

Christian friends are a great treasure.  I value the friendships we have made here in CP.  Good to see you here each day.

PapaJohn you drive safely and have a safe trip. Be sure to let us know exactly when you are leaving so we can be praying for travel mercies for you both.

Sonja:and Joyce. Benign Paroximal (positional) Vertigo is caused not by an ear infection or a migraine.

It is caused by something similar to a little ball that rolls across the hairs deep inside the ear that has to do that in order for you to keep your balance.

If it gets stuck you get dizzy when looking upward or going from a sitting position to lying down position or rolling over in bed.

It can last for months.or until the little ball either disolves or starts rolling back and forth again.A year ago it lasted from early December 2002 to April 2003.

This episode was comletly different in that it lasted about 24 hours and was much more intense. No pain though. My doctor also said to keep going to the chiropractor  because that pinched nerve in my neck could also be the problem and/or causing the Silent Migraine.

I think they sell pepper spray here in stores But they might not. they might have it behind counter though!
I';; have to bring a thing of vinigar spay with me when I go. Do the dogs hate the smell or does it hert your eyes?

Zach the vinegar stings the eyes slightly, but when diluted it won't hurt the eyes.  When I was young I would rinse my hair with vinegar, and it stings a little but never hurt.  NO it  won't hurt the dog at all.  They don't like the smell and they don't like the sting.  We Kennel our young Rottie in the evening and at night.  If he barks we will spritz him and he is quiet immediately.  It is a very effective training tool.  You need to train the dogs to stay away from you!

Hello all!

My mom, niece, and I went shopping today in Pigeon Forge.  I found a couple of pairs of slacks, a that was about it.  Mom however, bought a lot of the clothes for the grandkids' birthdays (when one celebrates a birthday, they all get a few presents instead of just one getting a lot of presents) and Christmas.  Last year, she about had all of her shopping done by August!

Beautiful weather here.  It was nice and cool outside today, though a touch windy (but, hey, it's March, right?)

Zach --  I think you can buy pepper spray in the stores (or at least you used to be able to).  Try the sporting goods section at Wal-Mart.  The vinegar water would probably be better though.  That way if one of your younger sisters got a hold of it, it wouldn't be as potentially dangerous.

I'm tired again this evening.  Me thinks I will turn in early again.  Hope it doesn't get to be a habit!!
:P

Take care, and I will "see" you tomorrow, Lord willing and the creeks don't rise. :)

Marilyn,  Judy B., and Zachery,   Thank you for your good wishes for our trip.  I am like a little kid in that I get excited about making a trip, especially to Florida.  Zachery, I wish you could go with us too.  In any case you can pray for a safe trip.  I think we will leave about 5:00 o'clock Central time on Saturday morning.  So you know what I will be dreaming about these next two nights. I will take my laptop and get on line every day there just like I do here.  I will miss my electric recliner but will have a nice recliner there too.  I will have to use the phone line for connecting to the internet.  Here at home I have a cable connection and also a wireless set up so the modem is across the room or I can take the lap top anywhere in the house and be connected to the internet.  I hope you all have a nice rest tonight.

Hey ya!

I just got finished reading today's posts for NEM, and I wanted to say hi to you all.

I love the devotional from this morning. It is so comforting to think that when things get rough, Jesus really knows how we feel and what we are going through. He is such a joy to know. I have often thought that it was a blessing to know that Creator knows the end of our days from the beginning. Then when I stumble, or fall, he isn't dissapointed in me because he already knew. On the other hand, if I have had a really good day and I get to feeling a bit too proud of myself, it's good to remember that He isn't all that impressed with my self-rightiousness. That keeps me humble, and useable.

Blessings to you all, and Mike, your family is in my prayers this night.

Nshill, (Be blessed) in Apache

Thanks for the devotional Pat.  I come to read but don't feel a need to post very often.  Lots of different opinions without mine being added to the mix!

Your posts are so helpful Papa John.  I will also add prayers for your safe journey.  Have a wonderful, restful, holiday.

Lee, I am also back golfing.  That time of the year.  So far, I have only been going to the driving range to get my swing working again.  My, that hurts in the beginning...

The curling season is in full swing on TV now and as a former curler, I am spending time glued to the set.  Guess that is something not everyone is familiar with, tho' it became better known after the Olympics.

We are very sad at the moment.  Our dearly beloved cat Perkins is not likely to live.  He is very ill and the vet doesn't hold much hope for a recovery.  His heart is failing and an infection is raging.  They don't know why yet.  Mr. P is only around 63 human yrs. so it is not due to old age.  Both my daughter and granddaugher are very upset, as is this person.  We are people who dearly love animals and a pet is truly part of the family.  So the days ahead do not look to happy right now.  Perkins is a housecat and never goes outdoors, so he is even more a part of our lives.

The days are sunny here now and all sorts of flowers are starting to bloom.  I will have to take some pictures and send for posting.  Still have not had time to study the process.....

God Bless and pleasant dreams all.  Liz

I'm very late tonight - never turned on the computer until 10:00 p.m. instead of the usual 8:00.  We accidentally discovered "Stars on Ice" was on TV and watched all two hours of it.  A really great show!   ;D

A mild day today, with off and on sunshine and the temperature getting close to 50 again.  Warm enough so most of the snow from a couple of days ago is gone and there's bare ground showing once more.  We keep remembering last year, though, when we had major snow storms the last week in March and again well into April.  So we won't take off the snow tires yet!   ;D
