I have spent several hours doing the family newsletter and then looking up old photos and stories (family) for my cousin who is working on the genealogy and book.  I have lots more, but now I know where they are!!  So I am feeling very relieved.  I don't like having things hanging that I need to get done.  Now I can concentrate on getting ready for our trip!

Hi, Papa John.  That's so true about the nursing homes.  I visited my Mom today, and there are just a few in there whose minds are still sharp.  Beth and I took her little dogs and the people all loved them.  Almost everyone loves puppies!  A lot of the poor old folks are just lying in bed, or sitting in wheelchairs, staring vacantly.  I'm so thankful Mom's mind is still sharp; she can remember things from long ago, and still remember yesterday, too.  I got a couple more family stories from her for the book.    Goodness, my Dad lived through some really hard times.  He was born in 1900 and lived until 1990, saw things from horse and buggy days to putting a man on the moon.  I still miss him, he was a wonderful person.

Papa John Yes I have applied to Habitat for Humanity but haven't heard back from them yet. I just applkied a couple of weeks ago. I am not trying anymore to find a lender, I don't have a down payment and there is no way I can come up with $7K to $15k for that.

I have been home about 30 minutes and have my jammies on already. not going to work on PSP lessons I have 7 more to get done by the 20th. I got 2 weeks behind tryign to figure out some things  I downloaded.
