Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Sonja ~ Thank you. I am doing okay. I don't have any pets of my own, but I will have Bubba the cat (that is so fat he waddles down my hall) in February for the month. Etta Sue doesn't take Ali anywhere, she doesn't like riding in a car very well. Etta Sue is talking like I can take care of her while Ivalou,Marg, Betty and her are in Hawaii next summer, but I don't know if she will ride over here or not. Maybe her brother will take care of Ali. I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Thanks for the kiss on the cheek.

Marilyn ~ Thanks. I am not lurking on purpose. I will be back someday.

Papa John ~ Thank you. I am always glad to see your posts. I do lurk a lot and read your posts then.

Karma ~ Don't get too use too it. I will lurk more than write. Keeps me out of trouble that way. ...............
I am not desensitized by you and Nards words and I don't believe anyone else is either. If that is the cause non of us would be here. We would all do well too remember that we don't see eye to eye, but are willing to learn. I lurk a lot, but I learn too!

Hi Everyone...

Just had a little visit down to Larry and Diane.  I haven't been in to see Larry at all as he doesn't want to see anyone but at least I can visit with Diane and get her mind off what is happening.

Chris has send some cute photos for our newest challenge so I'm going to get them posted too.  And hopefully, Lee will be back in here with a hymn to guess!

Thanks Karma for your words.  It's difficult sometimes on the internet.  Being a host on SeniorNet since 1996, I can tell you that this has been a terrible problem on that site.  People get hurt and then later on we find out that what they read wasn't meant to hurt but it was teasing or joking or even a term or slogan used in another country that is derogatory in our own country.  We've dealt with all kinds of these types of situations over the years.

It's too bad that we can't show a photo of our big grinning face as we type sometimes, isn't it?  then we could maybe communicate better.   Let's just do a lot of praying one for the other and hopefully that will help.

Karma and Nards, I just don't know what we would have done without you during the time that we suddenly all became "orphans" overnight and you gave us a home where we could meet and talk and pray while I built this site called Christian Photographers.  Thanks so much for that.  You really showed your true Christian character back then.

Jerry, it's so good to see your posts.  I've been praying daily for you.  You've come a long way, bro!  I'm so happy.  I remember Jack recuperating from his strokes.  They were in a different part of the brain from yours so none of his limbs were involved long term but oh, his short term memory surely was affected.

Well, this is a sad day for me seeing my friend Larry go down hill so quickly and so I won't post more right now but I'm going to go and get Chris's photos ready to post.  I'm so far behind in many of the tasks that I do behind the scenes.  Hopefully, I'll get caught up soon.

I feel a hymn coming on...

Welcome Bamabelle - please come back and post!...Tell us about what all is going on in your life!

This afternoon I took my car in to the dealers to have it washed (this is a service Toyota provides for the owners).  While in line, I had my foot on the brake., and it slipped off...you guessed it...I hit the car in front!!.  No damage at all to my car, BUT the imprint of my license is on the other guy's car.  I was just "sick" about it.  The gentleman was so nice., now I'm waiting to see what the damage will cost me to have it fixed.  His car was brand new also!

I'll see how "nice" the man is when he gives me the estimate :'(
"I am too blessed to be stressed".

JudyB

Oh Judy

That is too bad.  Don't let it keep you awake tonight, leave it in Jesus' hands and let him work.

I am so sorry this happened.  Hey on an up not there was no damage to your car! ! ! ! !

Heather Brunet

It has been a good day here in sunny Cambridge.  I had the pleasure of rescuing my husband who had locked himself out of his car at work....lol.

After that, I decided to take my 15 yr old neice on a tour of Guelph, to some of the places that mean the most to me.  She came with me to unlock Jon's car.  I showed her where I used to live, just up the street from Aunt Pat, and the schools Jon and I went to.  I also stopped by my hairdressers home to set an appointment to get my hair cut on Friday afternoon, and asked him if he was able to do something special to my neice's hair.  (she has nappi hair, and he has never done anything with it.)  Then I took her by the home of my dear best friend who went home to be with our Lord almost 6 years ago.  I still miss her, but I don't cry about it as often as I used to.  Then we came home to Cambridge.  We got back here at 4:45, and Kristalyn went to her room to prepare to go to a hockey game with her boyfriend as her mom and sister got ready to go out to the Santa Clause parade, which was to begin at 6.

I had never been to a night time parade before, and I was as excited as Chantelle was.  (She is 10)  The parade was amazing.  I guess I am still a little girl at heart.  I said to Suzanne, my sister in law, that I go to the Santa Clause parade to see all the transport trucks that pull the floats.  I saw an absolutely beautiful one, and if I had the opportunity to see the cab of this one I would have been in my glory, it was a double extended cab, and I can imagine that it was completely equiped with a shower, toilet and kitchen facilities, on top of the usual bunk for sleeping.

I saw a day cab from the company that my dad used to work at.  The driver looked familiar, however I didn't mention to him who I was related to, so I will never really know if I had met him before or not.

After the parade, I came home, picked up my neice and took her to the arena to see the hockey game with her boyfriend and a couple of girlfriends with their boyfriends.

All in all it was a busy but very interesting day.  I feel like my day was totally fulfilled!  LOL

Time for me to go, and spend some time with Jon, before he goes off to bed.  This is his weekend to work.

Take care everyone.

Love
Heather

Heather, what is "nappi" hair?  That's a new one for me. :-\

Nappi hair is "black" hair.  Her mom is white, and her dad is black.  She inherited the black hair.

The term was new to me too when I met her a year ago.  She is such a beautiful person, and I love spending time with her.

This is an evening that I was going to go to bed early.  I haven't felt up to par all day today.  Then I started on PSP...and you know the rest of the story!  The above Welcome is a PSP lesson!

Time to call it a night so I can get some rest and get to church tomorrow.

Well I am still up.   Melaura cannot sleep AGAIN.  soooooo I sit up with her as she reads or watches Doc on TV.

We had the septic pumped tonight.  The gentleman who does this is so accomodating.  We have become friends, he now knows Jake and Bruno.  As long as there is no bushy beard or touque Jake is ok.  Now if you have a bushy beard he goes snakey.... Just ask my neighbour down the road.  As Don drove his beat up pickup (with no windshield) down the road, Jake went after him, Don is afraid of Jake and thought Jake was going to jump into the truck and get him.  Was a funny thing to see.

We are having Lord's Supper tomorrow.  We are singing some new hymns.  I understand the reasoning but in the one they are taking out all the Thee's and Thou's. I find this disturbing.  Oh well I voiced ny objection and they can take it up for advisement.  I was weened on the old English, I love the old wording, and the thee's and thou's give God Majesty.  I will get off my soap box.

All the snow we have is supposed to go this week. Woohoo!  it is to rain later in the week and that will clear the snow out.  You will never hear me complain any other season, but I do complain about the cold.

Well going to see if I can encourage Melaura to go to bed.

I may be back

Love Judy
