JennyW: Hello Janet! I check every day. I wish everyone would get going again! I miss seeing pictures and reading posts! 2025-01-24, 06:54:04

Janet: Hello, Friends!  Let's get this going again!  I miss  hearing from all of you! 2025-01-23, 19:26:16

Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Good Morning. Pat thank you so much for the link to Christian Answers, I have put it in my favorites.

Iain, Brother it is so good to have you back and thank you for your devotional on the scape goat. I have often wondered if that scapegoat found it's way back into the flock. I also wonder how far away the goat was taken, and what happened to the goat?

Well I looks like I will have to download yahoo messenger , I had it on my old computer but I didn't know how to use it to contact people that I know on yahoo. Some one will have to send me an email telling me how to do it.

SonJa I am trying to remember to put everything in bold so you can read it easily. I am praying for you sister, for a good report on your CT scan.

Jenny  am, glad you were able to post today. I sent you a long email yesterday after I received you letter by regular mail.

Mieka: Hello little sister, I love you and miss you. I am glad that Pat was able to send that email on to you. I was so surprised to find in translated into Chinese, When I received it-- It  had Mieka all over it, an answer to prayer that I could communicte with you. God Bless you Mieka come back to us as soon as you can. Stay warm in Lhasa, It must be very cold there.

Marilyn, thank you!  When you down load Yahoo messanger, give me your username and I can add you to mine.  You won't have to do a thing just except my invite.  ;D

Pat, it was fun talking with Mieka last night.  She is so special.  I think she will be of good help where she is to go.  I will be praying for her to not get sick while she is there.  It must be hard, but I trust that our Father in heaven will be watching over her.  :D

Thanks again, Papa John for the wonderful scriptures.

I have so much laundry to do today.  Any volunteers???? hehehe... ;) ;D

HI Ria!  What is the tempature there?  How are those cards coming along?  Hope you have good afternoon.  Love you!

Got to go, I will be back later.

Hi everyone.

Good to see this site so busy this morning and to read the postings from Mieka.  Mieka, if you see this, I like the others have missed your postings but are certainly glad to know that you are safe and hopefully well.  You will have so many wonderful things to tell us about when you return from your time there.

Papa John, it is also cold here in Georgia.  We had our first freeze of the season and frost over everything.  However, it is suppose to warm up for the next few days and is a beautiful clear and sunny day today.

In my devotional readings this morning from "My Utmost for His Highest" by Oswald Chambers I read the following and wanted to share it with my CP friends this morning:

QuoteIn external history the Cross is an infinitesimal thing; from the Bible point of view it is of more importance than all the empires of the world.  If we get away from brooding on the tragedy of God upon the Cross in our preaching, it produces nothing.  It does not convey the energy of God to man; it may be interesting but it has no power.  But preach the Cross, and the energy of God is let loose.  "It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe...We preach Christ crucified."

Iain, you were right on target today as well with your devotional thoughts.

Hi everyone.

YEAA, Mieka was here!!!  Too bad I wasn't up til 2 or 3 like I normally used to be (a small reform has taken place; I try to get to bed before midnight now).  Truly, it was awesome to hear from her!

Mieka, if you peek in, Travis wants to say something:

Z$a!rRRRRRRRRRR yhtghuiku7grujkoilu8iuyhjg         = RP{:}

;) ;D :-*

Have a great day all, I'll be back later.  Perhaps when Toddler-Man is asleep ::)

WOOHOO Meika I was soooo pleased to read her posts.  Meiks the girls say "Hi Miss Meika"

Another Cold dayhere in the North, minus2*C

We are late starting our day so I had better get moving and teach.  Math is always a challenge to get done.

Got to run
Till later

What a blessing to see posts from Mieka.  I love you, little one!!!  I don't think I have you on my Yahoo IM.  We will have to remedy that somehow!!

Bright and sunny AND COLD here today.  I think I will take Jerry to Anderson this afternoon if I get myself in gear.   ;)  We had a great time with Tony and Charlene and her family last evening.  Got to see the big rock that Carol has since she is engaged.  Got to see Charlene...first for a long time.  Got to see her brother and his family.  Her son, Kevin, will be 21 Friday and Jerry was 66 Saturday so there was two cakes.  One cake, one ice cream cake so we had cake and ice cream.... ???  A good time for all of us!!

Well, I am just as happy and excited as all y'all about "seeing" Mieka here last night (for me) I saw where Pat said she was chatting with her so I opened my Yahoo! chat and took over after Pat had to (finally) go to bed!  :P  Mieka and I had a good chat and I am hoping she will be able to "learn the sky" so she can figure out the time difference and we can chat again before she leaves for Lhasa.  She truly is a ray of sunshine for all of us here, and I know she will also be a blessing in her work there in Lhasa.

I have company coming in a few minutes so I need to get off here and be ready to welcome the lady.  Just a few minutes ago it was pouring down rain so hard it was dark outside!  I'm glad it has stopped for the moment so my friend can get in from her car without being drowned!

I'll talk with y'all later (hopefully) and wish each of you a wonderful day in the Lord.

Oh.... I am really glad to see JENNY here today.  But not so happy about her puter problems.  :-\  I pray things get worked out to everyone's satisfaction really soon.  Until then know that I miss you and am praying.

Later......  Jane

MIEKA!!!  I am sooo happy you were able to get  online last night!!  But  :'( because I didn't know about it so I could talk to you, too! :'(  I pray you will adjust to the huge change in altitude and not become sick when you do go back to Lhasa.  I miss you so much!  And I love you like a duaghter!  May I be your Mom?  Then you will have a Mum and a Mom! ;) ;D  Anyway, I do hope I will get to say something to you if you get online again today!

Sonja, I am praying for a very good report on your CT scan!  You are special to me, too!

The Creation Moments for today has a very sobering message.  Has the Bible just become an unused Christian Icon??

Papa John, it is so wonderful to read your posts again, and I pray you are continuing to gain strength again.  We really miss you when you do not post.

Hello, dear Ria!!  Are you still working on your cards?  Is it still raining there?  Send some to us, we are dry as a two year old bone!

I went swimming again this morning, as my right arm gave me awful pain all night, from my shoulder to my finger tips.  I am hoping the exercise will help it.  I had missed swimming for a few days.

I have lots to do today to get ready to leave for Nebraska early in the morning.  But Meeks if you get online, please page me!  I will leave my computer on all day in hopes of talking to you!

Jenny, we miss you when you cannot post, too!  Hope those computer problems are solved soon.  We love you!

I'd better get busy, or I won't get anything done!  Talk to all you nice folks later!

Well, hello everybody!  It's pretty cold in our corner of the world today.  I confess, I do like it cold.  I always fantasize that I live in Alaska and that living in the cold makes me a real man...

Good to hear from Mieka.  Sure hope everything continues to go well for her.

It's kinda cool here in my office today, too.  Anybody for a cup of hot cocoa?? :)

Hello everyone from a cold East Texas

Nards(who likes the cold weather), just give me a cup of the cocoa and let me look outside at the weather.  We have had two nights in a row below freezing... Enough I say. ;D ;D
Pat and Jane More hot cocoa and munchies, a great way to spend indoors. :) :)

Hello to Steelerdirtfreak aka Paul. Welcome aboard.
I want you to know I am also a fan of the Steelers.  I usually root for the Dallas Cowboys, but because the Quarter Back for the Steelers is Tommy Maddox. I am intensely rooting for them.  I knew Tommy when he was only four years old and my neighbor next door in Lafayette La.  We were best of friends of Wayne and Glenda, his parents, and his older brother Mark.  Tommy shared many meals with my children back in those days. ;D ;D

Larry thank you for the Oswald Chambers quote, I have been reading "My Utmost For His Highest" for over ten years and never get tired of reading it over each year.  I always come away renewed in my spiritual life and marvel at the wisdom in his writings.

Judy B  Sorry to hear of the wait on John's surgery, but it may be for the best as God is surely active in it.  You mentioned AWANA some of my Grandchildren are active in it.

Papa John good to read your post and was interesting the other day to learn the French meaning of the word I was writing about.  Thanks for your comment.

Mieka I never got to know you very well, but you are certainly a bright and shining star the way your name lit up the posts today. :) :)

nards and Jane I will join you for the hot cocoa, but Jane you are really tempting me with the donuts!  I don't need them.

Well the typing is done.  What a job, Pat you could have done it in 1/4 the time I did.  Oh well It is done and now to organize and copy it.  At this point I have no clue how many copies I need, so will have to wait for the numbers to come in.

The temperature has gone up.  +1*  some rise in temp eh?  Well I can't complain it is bright and sunny.  Nards I would love to go to Alaska or the Yukon for a (very) brief holiday in the summer. As far as living there. . . . . this is far enough north for me.

Well have to get to teaching, so Bye for now see y'all later.
Love JudyB

Chris I just stole yuour flicking dollars gif, hope ya don't mind.

I have posted a photo of what it looks like here on the north coast of California today.

Just got home from work a short time ago. I had to go grocery shopping for Bea in the rain today. Coming home form Arcata, the rain came down in sheets and the wipers couldn't keep it off the windshield. Living here I know I am in for this kind of rain from now on until Jesus comes.
